Pierre Silber has 10" platforms! I could hang rafters if I was wearing these! http://www.pierresilber.com/platforms.html

Mine arrived on Friday. In silver. This after I said, "I'm not going to buy any more heels that I won't feel comfortable wearing publicly." So either I have to wear them publicly, or I am a hypocrite. Sigh. Guess I'm going to go with publicly then.
While doing some online gift shopping I noticed these but my size wasn't available.
Went to complete my order today and noticed that now they are, in fact, available in size 13. I had a 25% off coupon code and it's free shipping over $30 so I decided the heck with it and ordered them. Pretty darn femme for me as that's really usually not my personal heel preference (I tend to wear classic office type pumps), and I'll probably never wear them out, but I figured they'd be fun for a night in with my girlfriend.

If they can wear heels, then I can wear heels.

How in the heck do you type with those things?!

Heck yeah man. I do 95% of my shoe shopping at Payless. When I find a shoe/boot that I really like, I buy all that I can, because Payless doesn't keep models around very long.

I can't remember a day when I wasn't wearing pantyhose.

Some Snap-On high heels would be very cool...

I even check the mail and clean up the yard in heels LOL.

Ha! Me too!

Looking good like usual Debbi! Those are some sheer hose!

Absolutely stunning Eve! I agree with you- the only time my legs are bare is when I am shaving them. I have some sandals kind of like those. They were hard to get used to at first because they are so light! I mean they weigh just about nothing! Other than that, I really like them. The second to the last one is my favorite picture. Thanks for sharing!

I'm 6'5, even though I am currently surrounded by a sea MGB's, I don't fit in them barefoot. Much less be able to drive one in heels! Wow. That's quite an accomplishment.

Right on Shafted. I found the same to be true when I lived in Chicago and was working for a HUGE company. It was about shorts and pantyhose for me. The rule book said, "Hosiery must be worn with shorts" in the female section. Men had to wear long pants. So I called HR and asked if guys could wear shorts and hosiery. After they picked themselves up off the floor they said sure, go for it.

Baby steps man, it's the way to go. Do you work in an environment that you could actually wear heels?
-
That's great advice Steve.

Sounds like a great place to shop! I'd go back in and chat with him.

I have been openly wearing hose for about 20 years now. Never had a bad experience. If people notice, they don't seem to care. I am still somewhat apprehensive wearing my heels, but I am getting better at it. Warmer weather is coming, and the shorts / hose / heels thing makes me nervous. I've done it with no bad experiences, but it's kind of scary at the same time.

Thanks guys.

This time I used photobucket, the picture should be able to hang around now. HIH: Sure man, lets build an engine. I probably won't wear my red ones though, don't want to get grease and oil all over them! But don't worry, I have plenty of other pairs to choose from!

I say hide them in plain sight.

Give my wife rules? Are you nuts? I love her too much. I don't really have any rules either. I guess our mutal rules are to trust, communcate with, and respect each other

I think its because women wear what they wear to attract men. I wear what they wear because there are so many different options!

Inexpensive hosiery.... <grin>

That's a great story Larry. I was wearing those same wedges yesterday as well. Not sure anyone noticed other than here at work of course. One goofy thing about those wedges is uneven ground - you have to get used to a shoe that does not flex if you step on something in the middle of the sole. Like walking on my crushed asphault driveway was a bit tricky at first when stones were making my feet todder.
