In the uk we have this (imo) really crap supposedly funny tv show called "Just For Laughs"....like a REALLY REALLY bad version of candid camera. anyway... tonight one of the mid - last senarios was a guy in a suit, in a shoe shop trying on high heels...the hidden tv camera shows about 80% of the people they filmed literally laughing their asses off or looking at the guy like he was someone who had just escaped from a mental home... anyone else see it?? J.

well vista doesnt open anything that looks dodgey from what iv seen so far (iv just installed Vista Home Premium) and it seems to be working quite well... altho it wont let me run photoshop or premiere (im in the process of buying adobe photoshop elements 5 and premiere elements 3...which have a vista update...BUT ANYWAY) so far im liking the ideas that they have came up with....the installation process is damn near impossible to screw up (meaning that it will be REALLY easy for hackers, crackers, etc...to find a way round it) but its not bad...iv seen worse. J.

heeling touch has the vamp strecher

shoe strechers dont do it...there is an american device (im assuming its american because i can only find it there) called a vamp strecher, like a normal shoe strecher but will strech out the vamp in boots, oxford, etc... but im just going to try the shoe strecher on its side...when it arrives with some shoe strech fluid...iv SEMI broken them in at this stage...i just need the vamps to be happy and im away. J

lol they NEW rock

Well as those of you on here who know me...

you'll know that i bought a pair of malicia new rock boots (model number 9397) so i thought i would tell you guys on here as well

they are slightly tight on my right vamp.... but i am wearing them with the heating on...hoping that the heat will help strech them just that little bit that i need...

so what do you guys & gals think

yea but adding the globe behind the logo as it stands now you will be making it kind of a NOW rally symbol... because of the imagery.. not to say your idea is bad or anything hover but i think we need a clean and professional logo and the one that hell done is exactally that... and its very in keeping with the forum as a whole. thats my 2 pence J

...dont try and go over the top hoverfly...we have a simple logo that works..dont make it over complicated

gif colours arent that limited i dont think...because adobe at least picks the colours it needs for the gif automatically to take up that colour pallet but i could be and probably am wrong.. but cracking logo plain, simple, to the point...just like all the best logos J:evil1:

take the initial cap from the o in Org and make it org and i think its perfect.

there are very few people who are on 800x600 everyone has found 1024x768 alot more friendly and most computers built come automatically in 1024x768 or larger @hoverfly there would always be size restrictions we cant expect a logo that is 1024x768 in size... because its just not practical...plus most logos are only small and to the point...hence my logo...small and too the point...altho i am trying to find a better pair of shoes....because all i have are stilettos...altho not in my collection...but i do have an idea .....i think.....or maybe not but i'll have a think and get back to you.

but we are trying to keep it simple. because a logo with too many pictures in it offen dont work... and as a web designer im saying that it cant be too big and that im planing on TRYING to keep the size as 150pixels high by max of 900 pixels long

only problem with that hoveryfly is you cant get full figured black and white figures in a space that small that would look good as a logo...hence the shoes on their own...because its obvious what they are ...or even ...actyally i have a spin on this... hold on

i think i have a decent logo design...i'll upload it in two minutes once iv added colour to it

that may well be the case but i believe phpbb or its this peice of software actually allows branching of sorts actually i do believe it was tested on this forum much to peoples stress and anger because the way the threads are made now...we, the developers, assume that your going to keep a topic on track...or at least not make any drastic topic moves... however in saying that there is once peice of forum software out there in the outer reaches of the internet that ONLY uses branching...the name of it escapes me at the moment but it does still exsist and is still getting upgraded and modifyed but is keeping to its "branching roots" lol sorry couldnt help myself with that one.... cheers J

that sounds like alot of fun Dr Shoe...i never thought of that...but luckily (or not) i now fall into my category nicely so all my shoes fit quite nicely (im a uk 10 male which means im a uk 10 female as well apparently) J.

you know you can get party feet "spots" and apparentally bongela does a good job of numbing the pain a bit
