  1. I suppose if we post things in the proper section, people will be happy. But when GSH said "leep (sic) their perversions private", well, I've read posts by guys who seem to have been around here a while -- Firefox, Xaphod, others, and they sure don't seem like perverts to me. They just want fashion freedom. Years ago, women didn't wear pants. They started wearing them, and were ridiculed. Now it is acceptable. I guess men in heels are in the same stage as when the women were ridiculed. As for perverts, I think pychiatrists would say when some men (see previous posts) don't care as much about a female body as they do about an item of clothing...i.e. shoes, that becomes a fetish (perversion) item. So, no calling the kettle black, please. Live and let live.

  2. To answer JeffB...well, they are from a store in Canada called Le Chateau. Actually from their outlet store where they sell discontinued stuff. I got them for about 20 dollars Canadian. I told myself I didn't need any more shoes, but I really liked them, and the price was right. I am lucky, I take a womens size 9 U.S. (Canadian sizes are the same as U.S.), so it's not to hard to find something I like. It was their last pair, too. The laces are functional, not fake, all the way down to the toe. The heel is about four inches. They are pretty comfortable, too. They have a soft lining.

  3. This is the pair I bought a few days ago. I wore them today. The third pic shows the pants I wore with them. Even though they were quite visible, and I went to a busy downtown area, not too many people noticed. Not that I saw, anyway.

I suppose people walking behind me maybe saw...and one woman passed me and looked back. (They are four inch heels so I wasn't walking too fast. Also, I walk slower and a little more carefully so that I don't traipse around like a girl. I suppose more people would notice me if I walked like a girl, but I don't think it looks right. I'm not trying to be a girl, I'm just a guy wearing heels.)

Maybe she (the one who looked back) wanted to see if it was really a guy maybe. And I got a few people glancing down as they passed me from the front. Mostly women. I did see one guy, he was sitting down, wearing mirrored sunglasses, but his head was tilted down the entire time I walked by him. I walked around for about an hour.

I'm beginning to think I could wear pink stilettos and hardly anyone would notice.

  5. I have something like genebujold was looking for, I think.

I don't know where they are from originally because I got them at a second hand store. But on the inside it says Anne Michelle. (They are all black...the lighting made the laces and the elasitic gore on the sides look blue.) The heel is about three inches high.

  6. Here are some pics taken with my old webcam, hence the poor quality. The shoes are the ones I posted about earlier but didn't have a pic for. The boots I just bought, and have gone for a walk in them. The heel is thicker on them, although not exactly a block heel, and are a little harder to find than the stiletto heel.

  7. I guess it's now the below post, not above :D I have tossed out the idea of getting together a few people, but I guess most people are too shy or something. If you want someone to go for a walk with in the afternoon, let me know. If not, that's okay too.

  8. Check my above post "out in new shoes today" to see what I wore recently in Toronto. Click on my name to see previous posts. I've gone to conservative places like shopping malls wearing one inch wide block heels four inches high, or four inch blade heels, but ususally a good place is Church Street near Wellesley and Yonge Street near Wellesley. It's a bit more alternative lifestyle in that area. That's the area I wore the shoes in my "out" post. My pants never cover up the shoes. Definitely got some stares, but no problems with anyone. By the way, you don't have to wait until late evening. Most of the times I've gone out was in the afternoon.

  9. Usually I wear block heels between an inch to two inches wide, and maybe two to four inches high. Today I wore a pair of those shoes that look like running shoes, black, but with a four inch heel that is about a quarter inch wide from the side and a half inch from behind. I know a lot of guys don't like these, but I wouldn't feel comfortable with pointy toed patent pumps, so these are a bit less feminine.

I walked around a fairly busy downtown area. My pants didn't hide the shoes at all. A few women smiled (don't know if they thought it was cool, or if they thought it looked silly) and a few guys stared. No comments though. Got a few double takes when people saw them from the front, then noticed the heels.

I'll try and post a pic. The pic is of boots; mine are almost the same, but shoes.
