  1. Hmm, is anyone interested in my thread any more? I guess this will happen all the time since you guys can't keep to the actual subject, always your thoughts that counts. Can't you leave a little bit of space for us without thoughtless comments. I thought this was a forum for sharing interests, but it doesn't seem like that. This will be my last contribution to this site, because I'm getting tired of all the "bezzerwizzers" here, and you will miss some of my best newly taken shots. I will simply change forum. I asked before if this was a TV-forum, well, this really makes me wonder. Some of you should stay in the closet, don't you agree gals?

  2. A stupid qustion to you dear Vicki. Are you really into rubber and is it worth testing? I'm curious and eager to test anything that can take my life to higher levels. Could you explain? You can use my personal E-mail if you want.

  3. Hi guys, and gals too, of course. A lot has happened. My beloved step-father is gone, and I have a lot to do. Just to take care of my mother takes nearly all my time, and I'm a bit low, as you can understand. High heels is my life and will always be, but sometimes you have to give priority to other things. Just to sort some things out. I bought nearly all my 7-inchers at Custom Shoe Co. in the 80´s, they are gone now, and I'm looking for a new supplier even if I have some contacts left in Asia since then. It's difficult to find true 7-inchers and there is a big difference between the craftsmen, believe me. I know that you are a lot of "detectives" out there. Keep me updated please.

  4. Something I have noticed is that many lie, or exaggerate the heel height. Some of my friend say that they don't use their 4" or 5" heels very often, and when you take a look at them they are 3" or perhaps lower. I think it's "cute", in some weird way, to pretend that they are higher then they are. When I shoe-shop together with some friend I encurage her to buy high heels, but they always end up in the closet. Comfort is the key-word. Sometimes I wonder if it's me that's weird. Anyone with the same experience?

  5. PJ, in my eyes Archenemy is simply criminal. I guess that it has never crossed your mind that those figures are false? However, if 800 or 800,00 are satisfied, I still belong to those 50 who has been cheatened, and someone should be in prison for that. I have som contacts in USA and I will work on this matter. There is no excuse.*ANGRY*

  6. Xaphod, just a comment to what you answered. Ernest are expensive, yes, but to keep up their service, which is excellent as I said, perhaps they have to be just that. They even send me a real catalogue by snail-mail. Guess if it's nice to recieve the brightly-coloured spring/summer issue in the end of winter. It's the perfect company with a glass of whine in the hot bath. On the other end you have unreliable "cheap" companies like Archenemy and a lot of others, especially in US. No, I recommend Ernest, if you can afford it. You can be sure to be satisfied!

  7. Dear Laurie, I have the same experience as you. It's not often, but it happens. My advantege is high heels. My biggest "threat" is my cousin Marita who always wear high heels. There's a real competition between us (for fun ofcourse) who wears the highest heel and we always compare our stilettos when we meet. We reached the limit of 5" and if it's get's higher I will be surprised. In my size 5 and her 6 (UK) it's high enough for casual wear. (We both ran in them to catch a bus.) It's really fun to have a "soul"-friend, if you know what I mean, to share your interest with. We both order shoes and boots from ERNEST, check their excellent site. Qualite and design is extremely good. They even send us a real catalogue by snail-mail. Keep on struttin'

  8. I'm curious. How can you explain that Archenemy told me last year in september, that they had them in stock, ready to send. Now, 9 months later, I still have no shoes, and they "robbed" me on my $130. They just took the money. Is it because I order from Europe, and that makes it easier for them to rip me off. I think so. Anyway, a lot of us think that you should NOT favor this kind of companies. If you, contrary to expectation, get your shoes at this low price, then I have paid a bit of it Does this make sense?

  9. A question for all of you who own a pair of this fantastic shoes. "dheel" you wrote that they are large in size, what would be right size for me if I take UK size 4 1/2? Should I order size 5 or even go down to 4? Cinthy and Anne-Louise, what size did you take compared to your regular size? Up or down or the same? Please help me, I want to be fairly sure when I order. :D

  10. Hi Larry! You can tell your wife that she is not alone. Unfortunately we have take this from, especially, teenage girls. At their age they don't understand better. If you take a look at small girls, let us say 4-6years old, they can stand and just stare at your heels. Then they run to their mum and point at them. It's very funny and flattering in some weird way. If you can't take the attention you get, good or bad, don't wear heels. But I guess in this case it was you Larry that was annoyd, not your wife. Am I right?? :D

  11. Thanks, all of you!! What I read is that Oxford street is out of the question!?. Is it better to look for clothes etc. and leave the shoes for Internet? I love Spanish and Italian 5" stilettos, are they gone? Some advice please. :D

  12. Hmmm...... Jeff, if you read the answer from me on the thread, you can see that the pictures and the boots are from CUSTOM SHOE CO. I will order them from a very small company (I should say craftsman) in China specialized in ultra high heels. I don't want to give his address to anyone until he approves. We went to China and visited him last year. My contact is intimate and I respect that, hope you understand.

  13. Could you please help me? Except shopping for shoes (high heels of course) some advice in general. I guess you all have some favourite spots. The reason for asking here is that I especially want some answers from you gals, but you guys are also welcome. .

  14. I saw Oprah's show on TV today, a repeat from last year I think.

Madonna who was the only guest, had some drop-dead gorgeous black knee-boots with very high heels and very pointed toe.

The heels must have been at least 4.5-5 inches and very "steep".

(She has very small feet, hasn't she?)

They almost had a B/D-touch, when she sat there "rocking" on her heels.

I guess that she's into that (B/D), judging from some videos.

Anyone more out there who has seen this on telly?

Finally, I'm a big fan of her. (Who isn't?)

    She is divine! :D

  15. :DI'm in love!

Found this shoes on a webshop and I WANT THEM!!!

The label inside says "Pleaser" and they will please ME very soon.

Anyone out there who already has them. I will order them from FUSS or BANANASHOES (very nice lady there by the way).

She told me that she had a pair herself. A Tiger-lady, she should join this forum.

In my size 5UK, how high will they be? Red or black?

My husband warned me that we have to change the floors and put the same kind of plate as shown on the pictures. :D It will be difficut to tip-toe in those heels.

  16. You're right guys. I mixed it up, I'm sorry! :D The pics are from Custom Shoe Company, not Solanj, and the boots and shoes were made in China. Several companies in USA manufactured their shoes in Asia, especially custom-made ones. I bought my first pair from CSC and later from Versatile Fashion (nowadays just corsets and clothes). And there were a lot of small companies like Finecraft and Monique selling "full" 7" heels. That was from the 70's to the middle of the 90's. Most of them are gone but some still exists. Perhaps it will cheer you up that there are some new good craftsmen in Asia. (see 6 Inch Heels Forever).

  17. We meet it every day, don't we.

The trouble is that our "fuse" is getting shorter and shorter.

The community seems to "squeeee" us harder and harder and it has to come out somewhere. The merry-go-round spins faster and faster, but you are STUCK.

Could write a book about it. :D

Is JUDGEMENT an unknown word nowadays?

  18. My narrow heels can't stand if I don't lean them towards eachother, sometimes not even then. High Heels?? :D My husband thinks it's very amusing to look at my vain attempt to keep them standing up, especially when we are guests somewhere and I have to take them off. He claims he's charmed?! I've read the definition for Stilettos or Stiletto Heels. They are at least 8cm (3.1") high and gets narrower at the tip. It's picked from some Italian Shoe Designer working many centuries ago. The expression "stilett" comes from an old (I think) Italian well-known weapon. Right me if I'm wrong. I'm more interested in wearing them :D:lol::D

  19. Hi to you Sarah!

All people I've met here are nice.

If you want to share something with all Heel-freaks here, just do it.

Most of them are men but we are a few girls/women here as well.

That was the first thing I wondered.

You can share your pics, tips, experiences and of course your wishes and dreams.

    Welcome!

  20. To you Trolldeg, I order them from a Custom Shoe Company. There are several, but these are from Solanj in LA.

And to you Paul, they lean forward as you can see. The heel is to high to be straight.

Finally Chris, I just wear them for fun and perhaps it's stupid to expect your wife to wear this kind of shoes. It's a "play"-thing.

I was a proffesional dancer many years ago, I think that make's it easier for me.

I think it's embarrassing and "fishy" for most women.

Ask her, or are you afraid to look stupid?

I promise that your wife have some secret wishes, try to find out.

    Then you "exchange" your secrets.

This is how I look......(awkward scanned pic)

  21. Hi there!

Ordered this shoes from Divine in UK (Thanks Tom-NL), because I saw one girl with a perambulator last summer wearing exactly this kind of shoes with jeans. Guess she had bought them in London or something. The heel seemed to be 4 to 4.5" high and she walked like an angel in them.

I tried on a similar pair but with a 6" heel and I liked the support they gave me, not as unsteady as regular court shoes (pumps).

My experience told me that 6" was far to high and 5" a little to high (have several pairs) and that 4" looks a bit to wimpy sometimes, and my favourite boots are exactly 4.5" (11cm) high and looks good in size 4.

But it's hard to find that heel-height anywhere, it's usually 4" or 5" and even 5.5", but 4.5",NOT!.

Anyone out there with the same experience?
