  1. I wouldn't say immelda marcos had too many shoes. In my calculation if you have over 44530 shoes that would be too many. Because that would mean wearing more than 2 different pairs of shoes each day for the next 61 years, I mean I would have to break in new shoes more than twice a day for the next 61 years. That would indeed be too much.

  2. First impressions are what matter most. No matter how nice a candy tastes, if it is wrapped in an ugly non-appealing wrapping no-one will eat it. And i think when i make an effort to look good and sexy and appealing i am entitled to expect the same from a man. I even try to look good after a long day of work as well.

  3. Yes and shyness also depends from nation to nation. UK girls are not shy at all and love to copy the styles, even outrageous, but fashionable sexy styles they see in sugababes, atomic kitten, girls aloud, JLO videoclips. Belgian girls are more shy in a fashion sense. But i can tell though that more and more girls here are feeling comfortable now wearing 4 inch heeled ankleboots (or kneelength boots). So I think the media is influencing the way girls dress in a way.

  5. Hello everyone, I'm new here, and very excited I have found this forum. I love fashion, and I think just like most girls I LOVE shoes. I buy way to many. Anyway, I am one of those young girls, and believe me I am not too shy to wear very high heels. Usually when I go out or go shopping I wear 4 to 5 inch heels. I live in Belgium and studied a year in England, I was very surprised how girls dressed there. Very different than Belgium. It was there that I could really express myself for the first time in fashion. I think the heel height you wear is basically a reflection of what is accepted by society. Here in Belgium I still wear high heels, but not the outrageous ones to go out anymore. People aren't ready yet here. When I work at the office I often wear a pair of 5 inch slingback pumps (with a round nose) People already comment on my 'extreme' heels here. And in England for instance no one would think it's strange. So wearing very high heels doesn't have anything to do with being shy, but with the acceptance of other people. cinthy
