  1. As I promised, here are some pictures of my black suede Casadei 8593. Although they are 41 (11) and the insole measures 28cm -11.02"-, they are really tight. They look more like a 40 (27.3cm) -or a french 41- than like a Italian 41 (11) as they were listed.

The heel is 13cm (5.1"), and they carry a 1.2cm (1/2") hidden platform. They are really beautiful, the heel is amazing.

I added a picture comparing them at the heel with my Pigalles -size 41.5-

Yow! These are so hot (the Pigalles too)!

  2. Just got these high heel menswear-styled pumps/shooties/oxfords/whatever. The trend may be on the tail-end, but I'll be rocking them forever and ever. If anyone has a pair in 10, 10.5, or 11, that they want to get rid of, please let me know. I slipped these on at the office (yikes) and took a pic! 'Falge' by Aldo, and true to Aldo sizing, I'm squeezing into the "size 11". Not sure if I should return them or just be patient and stretch them out. Heelaphile

  3. This pair is the highlight of my latest grab. It has a 4.5" heel and a 1" platform. It looks a bit bondage fetishy, doesn't it? Anyway, it's such a hot pair. The leather is also extra supple, which is something I didn't expect. Style is 'Femina' by Mea Shadow. Obviously, the style may not appeal to some, but for those of you who like the look, please let me know! Heelaphile

  4. I picked these up earlier today for $15 they are steve madden and are incredibly comfortable. I really needed a classic black pump and as my local filenes basement is going out of business I decided to check it out. These shoes were originally marked at $70 so I was pumped to get them so cheap. I tried them on in the store and only got smiles from the few women who saw me. After I went across the street to the womens store and got some great tights and a black and white skirt. It was a great shopping trip!!

    Great find!

  5. Hey folks, I stopped heeling (and dressing) and hadn't visited the forum in a while. I'm back, with a few recent acquisitions! 1. eBay'ed this Via Spiga spectator oxford, 3 1/2" heel, 1/2" platform 2. Charles by Charles David Pompadour pump, 4" heel 3. Nine West Stepout pump, 4" heel 4. and 5. Cole Haan Air Swan oxford, 4" heel, 3/4" platform I can only keep one of the Cole Haan's :)... black or 'pinot noir'??? They both have a nice polished leather look.

  6. Here is my latest purchase from Aldo. The model name is "Stallins"

The Heel is almost 5" measured at the back.

The sole is ¼" thick with a ¼" hidden platform.

These are "winter" boots since the sole is threaded and they are lined inside.

    ( But I don't think I will wear them on ice ! )

I instantly fall in love when I saw them .... :)

IMO, even better than the boots as your avatar

  7. Haven't made any purchases for a long time, until recently. These would be my latest ones. I'm almost guilty of stealing, with the prices I paid for these. I'm not totally in love with the color selection, but as they say -beggars can't be choosers. 1st and 2nd pic: Charles David, 4" 3rd pic: Pleaser, ~3.75" 4th pic: Nine West, 3" Size 10, 11, 10.5, but they all fit about the same to me! 8. Can anyone provide some sizing observations/experiences with shoes from Office, Faith, or Dorothy Perkins? I have no idea what to expect should I end up ordering from them. My size ranges from US 10-11, more closely being a slightly large 10 or true 10.5 though... Greatly appreciated!

  9. Here is an outfit I was messing around with the other day. I don't think I would wear it out of the house at this point. I would like to but I don't see it in the cards.

    Anyhow, opinions please.

    The outfit itself:

    - guess pumps

    - guess skinny jeans

    - white womens top

    - black wide belt

The belt absolutely works for a flattering feminine look - fantastic!

  10. Today I went to our local UPS office to fetch this beauties.

I thought that they could just be a bit better than the replicas I have.

I was wrong. These shoes are stunning.

The replicas are good quality, though; but don't match the originals.

Heel is 13.5cm (5" 1/3)... and they are very easy to walk in.

Excellent! I've thought about buying a Louboutin fake, but I wasn't sure they'd be a good buy. Maybe they are!

  11. Here are my three latest additions to my wardrobe:

Nine West "Florence" oxford/pumps - Soft black leather and a moderate heel. These will be fun heeling shoes! I bought them in black because the outlet has a pair of different oxfords in a tan that I am waiting on the price to fall a little more. I paid $30 for these.

Nine West "Striking" pumps - Low heel with a band that laces across the vamp. Not real sure the actual category of style, and I found them so ugly they were appealing. Again a great fun heeling shoe. I go them for $15.

Bass "Berlin" boots - black flat knee boots that I plan on wearing over jeans and maybe with a skirt. I wanted to get them last fall, but waited until now because they were down from $109 to $30. I will get them in before spring I am sure.

Way to work those store sales! Everyone needs a pair of black boots (heel or no heel) and you might remember I'm quite the fan of oxford pumps and lace-ups (no matter how in or out they are), so I'm giving two thumbs up on all three purchases!

  12. If they were mine I would send them all to my store. Wherevere I could keep them. They all look much better than the first shots you gave us.

Personally I, it looks as if the first two are much too big for your feet. I could not walk in them, even though I think them all lovely.

Just MHO. I AM PROBABLY WRONG AGAIN.

    Muddypaws.:pulsingheart:

You're RIGHT - the 1st ones are definitely too big. I don't think I can go 1/2 size down for the Nine West heels; I can probably close the gap with an insert or something. Thanks!

  13. OK I told myself I wasn't going to buy any shoes this pay month, and I haven't...but I did buy a pair of these. I just couldn't resist and they're selling out by the looks of things.

My question is...can you get out of a promise you made to yourself on a technicality...or is that like cheating at Solitaire?

I can't wait for the boots to arrive though.

    Spiker.

It's probably healthier to acknowledge you didn't hold up on that promise! Next year, remember not to make such promises in Jan/Feb (winter clearance events always get ya)!

  14. I ordered these two as they were on sale (and a pair of flat boots which I dare not share on this site ), but I planned on only keeping one. I'll take pics once they arrive!

These are the Nine West "Nuri" boots (sz 10.5) that arrived, with a pair of jean leggings underneath. Not completely sold on them, as I have skinny legs and the boots are a bit baggy. Very possible that I'll return them.

The other link (doesn't exist anymore) was a pair of Naughty Monkey boots, but they were cut way too small! Definitely have to return them.

  15. Hopefully I labeled these correctly...

#1: Report Signature "Sigourney" (4th link above) - sz 10, fit is ok and they're nice, but not wild about em - Return!

#2: Nine West "Babealish" (3rd link) - sz 10.5, fit is typical Nine West - at 6'1" I don't need the 1/2" platform, but they're cute - Keeper!

    #3 & #4: Lumiani "Laddie" (1st link) - sz 11, good fit, patent doesn't shine like a mirror, but I didn't have a black patent almond-toe yet - Keeper!

#5: Nine West "Jaewon" (5th link) - sz 10.5, again the slight platform, but don't have any shoes in taupe currently - Keeper!

I didn't take any pics of the other black patent ones (RSVP "Hayes", 6th link) - they are sz 10 but true to size or a 1/2 size small - Return!

I'm going to keep the black and cream-colored oxfords (2nd link), just didn't have time to snap pics.

  16. Here you have some details of the heel. It's not wood but wood covered.

Love the shoes! The profile and shape is spectacular. I suspect they cost a small fortune and I don't think I'd ever have the guts to drop so much money on one pair, but I certainly congratulate you!
