  1. Can anyone tell me why I enjoy these darn shoes so,much? Its becoming a daily habit. Do you women think its nuts a hetro guy does this? My wife has learned to tolerate it and tells me how bad it is for my feet. These 3" pumps are like bedroom slippers to me now. She told me what bad things heels did to her feet in the past so I said it was good I got a late start.

  2. Enjoy your new shoes. It does become addictive. This is America so wear whatever you want. Find a Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event in your area and see how well you do. Make sure to wear quality expensive shoes that really fit and put Vaseline on the wear spots on your toes.

  3. My wife sees me in them on many evenings but I try to skip it now and then. Don't want to look like its becoming a habit. She has to be at work one hour earlier than I so every morning includes some heel time after she leaves. When at work I look at the orthopedic looking shoes I'm wearing and do a little smile when I remember that one hour earlier I was on beautiful spike heels.

  4. I'm not a computer wizard so all I do is go to the box at the top and type in nys2fan4 and click on search. When it comes to points there are the original pretty type and then there is the elongated witch points. If someone made mens heels they they would have even a nicer point because of the width before the point begins.

  5. In this country (USA) and Canada there are charity events called Walk A Mile in Her Shoes. Maybe they will come to your country too. Its a fundraiser for abuse charities. There are over 2,000 pictures of them on the internet. When I do it I wear my beautiful points. The secret is to put Vaseline all over your toes first and shoes that fit. (I'd love to manufacture a line of men's heels that are a bit wider and better padded.) I wore them into a restaurant before the actual walk and loved every minute it. A little girl said "look mommy, he's wearing girl shoes!" to which I wanted to reply "Damn straight little girl" but I just smiled. I was wearing a T-shirt that plainly stated why I was wearing them and my wife and her sister were with me. I only saw one man who looked as if he was giving a look of disapproval but so what .. I'll never see him again. The waitress loved my shoes and asked where I got them too. Good taste is never out of style. In the last walk I did I told a woman watching that Mary Janes go with anything to which she replied "it worries me that you know that" to which I replied that I know a little about things.

  6. Sadly, the pretty heels are getting less and less because fashion is a business and a new product is required to make a sale. Go on the Classic Pumps site to see the pretty stuff. After the beautiful points and thin heels were big in the 1960's the fashions went to the clunky, chunky, funky of the 1970s. We seem to be headed that direction. Peep toes were called open toes in the ugly 1940s fashions. Must we suffer those eras again? The ultimate design occurred in about 1959. Except for about 10 years (1969-1979) the pretty heels ruled for 50 years! When you arrive at the top of the mountain of design they only way to go is down. If I were a woman I wouldn't compromise my footwear beauty with those rounded toe, thick sole shoes with the heels that look like a table leg.

  7. I know that happy feeling. I wear them before I go to work and miss them all day. The happy feeling continues. As I drive home its "how soon can I get into my heels." My feet hurt more when I take them off. The strap is high enough I can't just pop them off. That way the heel becomes more of a part of you as they do with boots. After undoing the strap I just flip my toes upward and the shoe pops off. Fun things can be simple.

  8. I had just passed my teenage years when a girlfriend had the sweetest maryjanes you ever saw. They were either size 4 or 5. When she told me years later that she had throw them out it just killed me. They had an interesting shaped heel that at first I didn't like but grew to love. The height was only about 1" She bought them in the late 60s before clunky, chunky, ugly took over. I now have 3" and 4" mary janes.

  9. If anyone is looking for a beautiful pump that is closest to the quality shoes of the good old days I recommend the BCBGirls "NICE" A very sharp point and a perfect shaped heel. I paid full retail but love having them. I saw the last few pairs on the bargain rack recently. It was a sad sight but somebody got a bargain.
