  1. I like the peek-a-boo effect of the flats. Where did you find them?

Here is a link to them.  Yeah, I like the effect too.  I bought these as soon as I saw them.  They are a little small, but they are ok as long as I don't wear socks.

Daisuki I just love your taste in heels. Those black platforms looks great

Thank you.  The styles I like have stayed pretty consistent, though I have added platforms to the mix over the past year.

I just got another pair in today and it's a style I already have (Nine West Love Fury), but wanted to add them in the classic flat black color.  I got lucky as this style seems to be out of production now.  They seem bigger than my other pair, but hopefully they will mold to my foot better with wear.  I like the heel shape and placement with this style and the slight platform is a nice touch.

For this set of pics, I opted for black leggings.

  2. Attached are some pics of my latest additions.  6" heels and flats.  Both are comfortable and very good looking.  The heels are definitely in the party shoe class, but they are remarkably stable, much more so than my next highest platforms which are 5.5".

I seem to enjoy both flats and higher heels, but not heels in between.  If I'm wearing heels, I want them to feel like real heels, not kitten heels.  (I bought a pair with 2.5" heels and can't even seem to put them on long enough to take pictures.)

The below additions are much more worthy of the expenses.

  3. Here are some pics of my latest additions.  They are a little big, which always surprises me for a size 10.  They also have the thinnest heel of any pair I've had.  The heel taps are only 7mm wide, so who knows how long they will last.  Also, the color is more purple vs. pink as in the pictures.  They are quiet shoes with rubberized taps and toes.  The heels are about 4.5" with not much of a platform (just under 1/2").

  4. The second pair is called Doubtit. These i will have a hard taking off tonight. They fit like a true size 10.5 to 11 so no issues there. They are listed as 5" and do have a 3/8" internal platform. In size 10 the heels measure 5.4" so gotta like that.

Excellent heels, wow!  Love the triple strap, even if it means it's harder to take them off.

  5. Thanks for your comments! No problems with slipping. The support from the sides seems sufficient to keep the heel in place when walking. Yeah, my right foot is about a half size shorter, but is a little wider. Still, that a 9.5 would be a little big is most surprising. Here are a few more pictures with white leggings.

  6. So, if this link works, you should see my new Heels :spin2:

I was going to say, more pics! But I see the gallery has a couple more. I think the ones with the white pants. :)

But wow, those heels seem impossibly thin!

Attached are a few pics of a new acquisition of my own...

These are MK York Platform sequined pumps. The color is quite stunning in person (more silver, really). They are also size 9.5M and they fit! And to think that I used to get size 11 as the default.

I uploaded some additional pics to the gallery. More to follow.

  7. pop a bright colour such as Red, or maybe hot-pink, neon green!?

Sounds like a good idea to me. :)

    Thanks!

I thought I should add definitely bare feet in pumps, definitely no hosiery with the white pants in your pic. Thats my opinion anyway.

Yeah, very good point. But then it's been warmer of late, so I haven't bothered to wear socks in a while. ;)

Well I took a stab at the white jeans look I would love to hear your thoughts.http://www.hhplace.o...er-than-most-1/

Purple! Very nice look! Those shoes look familiar. They are Jessica Simpson's, right? I've looked at those, but haven't bought any yet.

  8. I took them to the register facing those hopefully imagined "HE'S BUYING THOSE FOR HIMELF" looks from the teenage girl cashier.

Great story. Thank you for sharing. Wow, that's quite daring. I've bought all my pairs online and at least in the early days, the time from the purchase to receiving them at my door seemed like forever.

I've only bought women's shoes in a store once and they really weren't for me. I ended up having to take them back after discovering that the relationship had ended. It was a lot of fun buying them (the lady sales clerk was very nice), but it was disappointing taking them back. I've bought stockings, socks and women's pants in stores, but not shoes for myself. I may have, in Japan, if they had my size. The language barrier there would have made it less intimidating.

  9. I can't imagine going below size 10. I'm a 9 in men's. However, the picture speaks for itself, doesn't it? Still, the tights probably had something to do with it, by letting my foot slip further forward. What I really don't get is that's my left foot, which is a half size longer (but narrower) than my right foot. To continue the series, here is a pic of Ms. Sasaki modeling tights and a great pair of t-straps. Edit: Here is my best attempt at a similar pose, but it's clear that I need some wardrobe adjustments.

  10. Certainly, the interest in how they looked started when I was in 8th grade (around age 13). However, I didn't realize how comfortable they could be. I tried on my Mom's when I was a teenager, but they were most uncomfortable, but then they were about 2 sizes too small. So, it wasn't until much later (about 11 years ago now) that I realized they could actually be comfortable to wear. With such high arches and narrow, small feet for my height, I have since found women's shoes generally much more supportive and better fitting than men's. So, what was just a fetish became more of a general wear item. I still love the way they look, but I love the way they feel on my feet just as much now.

  11. I picked-up these socks a while back as I've been looking for a thigh-high look, but these are quite long and I'm 6'1"! They must have a lot of "scrunchies" on people with shorter statures. Attached are pics comparing the look with my top 3 pumps. Any suggestions for improvement? Thanks,
