  1. Thanks Laurieheels,

if you take a look at the Transit website (http://www.transitshoes.com), in the "find transit" section, you can place a special order to get the high heels you want at the size you want.

Transit is an Aldo subdivision. According to Aldo FAQ, the women shoes size range are between 35 to 42 (5 to 12) plus B size. Normally, you should be able to get the high heels you want in that store.

I hope you will be able to find something at the Transit store :(

The aldo version of that heels are available in size 10. But, I was unable to purchased them (I really want to get them...maybe later?) I'm glad to find a pair "similar" in the Transit store. The only difference between the Aldo version and Transit is the "back of the heels" The Transit one have a hole (you can see it in the last picture taken), not the Aldo one. And the heels itself aren't the same...

  2. WOW! Those boot are pretty sexy! I really like the black patent material. They made high heels and boot more beautiful to admire and watch :( You can't ignore someone wearing black patent high heels or boots! What a beautiful spectacle to watch shining black patent high heels! :(

  3. Since I saw a friend of mine wearing those high heels, I seached to find a pair exacly like her. The only difference, she bought their high heels at the Aldo's store. I purchased mine at the Transit store (same company, but an another division). I saved 20$ on them (if I compare on the same model on the Aldo store versus the Transit one). It's my most expensive high heels in my collection! It cost me 69$

I hope you will like it (and, you can notice I change the background :( *lol*)

They are really confortable to wear. I wore them while driving and it's the first time that I'm able to drive easily my car with high heels. I'm really happy of my purchase :(

  4. My preference goes something like this...

Exactly like my girlfriend. She loves wearing stocking. If you ruin one nylon, its more easier to replace it (if you purchase of bunch of the same style of stocking).

But, myself, I prefer DIM pantyhose. I purchase those pantyhose from that company

(I'm unable to display all models I wear.... I wears also DIM Sublim Voile Brillant (very shiny) and DIM Sublim Voile Resistant (A bit shiny)

They are soft, confortable, a bit expensive but it worth the price!

Note : Now, you know the origin of my nickname

  5. Recently, I got a meeting with a girl friend of mine that she works for me (in my company). The meeting is set in a small cafe in the downtown of Montréal. After waiting for her about 30 minutes, she arrived. I was totally in admiration! She was wearing a nice sleeve top, black pants, "cosmetic (color - like skin)" pantyhose and....aldo's pointed toes high heels with straps... Oh my god! She was an angel in my eyes  Th

  6. As for the picture, well, I haven't figured out how to enlarge the pictures without losing quality. It is scanned from a regular picture, and I am not all that skilled with the photo editing program my mother has when it comes to adjusting size. Every tme I tried it and went to sharped the details, it looked awful. So...

In you scan program, depend on your scanner, scan your picture in a higher resolution (not the size of the picture, but the dpi). If you scanner can perform a 300 dpi scan, you should be able to scan your picture larger with the same quality. At 300 dpi, the picture will be really large, in a picture editing program, you can reduce the size of the picture and the quality will be really good

And, your Christmas outfit is pretty nice! I really like the high heels and stocking your wear.

  7. Just out of curiosity, which have you found harder and needing to get more courage. Buying your first pair of heels or wearing your first pair of shoes in public?

    The hundred dollars question!

In my case, purchasing my first pair of high heels makes me really nervous! I purchased them at the Le Château entrepot. I entered in the store and ...I found the heels I want. I take those high heels in my hand (they have no box for those one....) and I directly run at the cashier.

It was the longest moment of my life. Waiting to pay those high heels. A woman looks at me, with strange guy. Her eyes telling me..."what you purchasing women high heels?! Are you crazy?"

My turn come, I put the high heels on the cashier desk. The sale girl tolds me : it's for you? (with a smile)" So, I was easy to complete the transaction.

I leave the store with my first pair of high heels, 4 inches block heels. And the first thing I done with my pair of high heels is to drive my car (whoooooooooooooo.....difficult!)

This week, I'll go to the aldo store, I saw a nice ankle strap high heels. Of girl friend of mine purchased them and I really love it. I'm so nervous to purchased them *LOL*

  8. My sister bought her system from the same place a month before me, and hers runs just fine. No fair!

I mean, in an ideal world, I would love to get a notebook, so I could take it everywhere and have it handy whenever inspiration zapped me like the lightning bolts that threaten all mortals who defy a goddess-type.

Right now, I've decided to make do with borrowing and making time where I can based on family. Be happy for where you are, as it could always be worse. Right?

Computers have many devices that they are sensitive, even if you handle with care. It's common to see a hard drive crashing and producing noise after 5 years of usage. (Even for a Quantum?)

I hope you'll be able to replace your hard drive soon. Now, a 40 gigs hard drive (maxtor or western digital) costs ~100$ canadian could be interesting for you later, when you'll have the opportunity.

    Have a nice day Laurieheels!

  9. Hey, I just found out Debbie(HK) has a pair as well.

There's no one like Debbie for modeling heels IMO.

Those high heels are called "Brazil", you can find them easily on Ebay and on some specialized online high heels boutique. They are available in many colors and textures

For metal high heel lover, they are a must in a collection! I really love them!

  10. Hello Dimpantyhose!

However, just before shuffling off the girls' forum, can I quickly ask you where you purchased your block-heeled courts? (And the we can ALL get some!).

    Cheerfully yours, Heelfan

I purchased them at the Le Château store (the entrepot one). Depend on the season, they are lot of nice high heels here!
