  1. Heels have not actually caused the injury but are helping!! At work yesterday, i pulled, strained or ruptured my calf muscle i heard it pop! and it was a pop! The pain was excrutiating and walking was non existent ,it became a shuffle. Not been too the hospital /docs although i think maybe i ought too. But the disappointment came when i got home, my son had decided to go too see his mother this weekend so that meant a weekend of self indulgence, not now!! how can i walk in heels i can hardly walk in flats. My curiosity got the better of me however, i and tried on my 4" heels, i was amazed, i could actually walk in these better than flats with only a hint of the pain and discomfort , i think its because whilst elevated my calf is not pulling so tight all the time, walking barefoot is agony , hooray for heels!! Don't think i'll get away with it outside though !!

  2. Last sunday morning , whilst passing through the next village on my way to pick up a friend , I saw a woman mid 30's i'd say, she was tall and slim and it was soon apparent why she was so tall, wearing a pair of denim jeans, she had upon her feet a pair of mules the wooden type with i would say a 3/4" platform /sole and a very high heel 5" +, quite a sight for a sunday morning, brightened my morning anyway!

  3. Hi asdf174, sorry to hear of your breakup, it sounds all too familiar too me though, i had someone who i spent 8.5 years with , due to be married, treated her like a queen, i adored her ,(i like to consider myself a gentlemen , there is not too many of us about)always gave her money, treated her right, but! she did the same was seeing someone for 4 years ,and several others by all accounts. I have a son by her, he lives with me! he is now 13 ,been seperated nearly 8 years now, was not nice at all ,i was very bitter and extremely hurt ,It damn near killed me ,I considered suicide,I had a lot of very good friends who helped me a a hell of alot , but ya know you will wake up one day and wonder what the hell you are doing ,then you have too be positive , this day is the first of the rest of your life, the day you forget the past and look to the future . It works mate i tell you, and there is a saying "that what goes around ,comes around". She will get her just desserts at some time, i was told this and my god has it come true. I still live in the house we shared, she has nothing, she wants money from me even now , but she will get sweet FA.I see my boy every day, he see's her once twice a week , she has had numerous relationships since , they have all failed. I see her regularly but i can look straight through her without any emotion at all , i think how lucky i am now , she would have dragged me down. as it was she cost me a lot of money , one way or another,. I am in another relationship now,(4 Years) my gf is fab. completely different.i am 41 so things don't end early ( not sure how old you are ) i wasn't looking for this girl either she just came along Hang in there and believe in yourself it will all come right in the end.

  4. I'll second that Derf, size 3 uk is small, my gf is a 5 and she struggles in 4" a 6" heel is very very high ,i think Peachy has some and wears them regularly though. Wonder how her shop is going in Bristol, not had time too go there yet,

  5. WOW ! they are very high for your size, that why i asked, and can only echo the advice already given , don't go in them unless you have practised a lot , you don't want too hurt yourself ,your heels or your pride! Have fun ,with practice you will get there.

  6. Hi Welcome to the forum,, only advice i can give is put them on and wear them as often as you can before the event , practice makes perfect, can i inquire what size and height they are as this may hinder your progress somewhat if you are new too high heels.

  7. Hi all, i remember i was about 12 or 13 , my mum always wore heels, between 2" and 4" sandals ,slings ,courts ,the usual mix , but she had one pair that were her best a apir of blk suede courts with a 41/2" stiletto heel , i always wondered how the hell she walked in them, and what it must feel like > One evening mumand dad went out , i checked to make sure they had left and i knew they would be at least 3 hours.I made a dash for her wardrobe and tried them all on ending in the suede pair,What a feeling they fit perfect and the feeling of being taller was great, just a feeling only like minded people will ever understand. I was hooked and have been ever since , not as much as i would like but, still heeling .

  8. Hi Poppi The pair of heels i have are 5" blk patent court shoes from "Hayway shoes" , plain and simple but in size 5 uk look really sexy and high! Seems like i need to find the right time to pop the question , but she did find my collection a while back (we lived together then) and was very curiuos about my reasons for having them, and found it a little strange that i wore heels , so i think i'm going to have to be a little gentle about the subject, although she knows i have a fetish, i tell her her feet are fab, but the extra words just done seem to be on the end of my tongue when i need them.
