  1. My eyes were on overload while on hoilday, by day on the beach, pointed feet, high arches ,painted toes and by night, a plethora of heels all manner of shapes ,styles and heights but it was during the day in the town of ayia napa that i saw my "vision" I had taken a ride too see the once famous town with my son, we bumped into another couple on the main street who were staying at our hotel in the next town, it was while I was talking too them that I saw this woman a Cypriot beauty, about 30 ish, she was stood outside a small cafe about 5 yards from where I stood, she was a stunner , natural tan ,beautiful black hair shimmering in the midday sun,a superb figure ,shown off by the white linen blouse and the 3/4 length beige colured trousers she was wearing , a casual yet very professional looking outfit, was she a model I thought? it was only when I looked further down that my eyes possibly popped out of my head , the trousers did nothing too hide the fabulous heels she was wearing, this was a girl that wanted people too know she wore high heels! Her slender tanned legs stood a top a pair of wooden style heels ,not stilettos, not chunky but a very nicely shaped heel, 6 " of it at least ! a very small platform about 1/2" no more, the sole very slightly turned up at the toes. Two thin brown leather straps held her brightly painted toes in place, her foot perfectly inline with her lower leg, her slim ankles almost unnoticeable as her legs seemed to fuse into one with her foot the only give away , a thin strap around the ankle. I'm guessing , but that fact she was petite , I reckon her feet were about a size 5/6 uk (38/39 euro), they appeared very relaxed, her calves not straining, her feet hugging the very steep arch of the shoe, beyond vertical ! her toes at right angles , she looked more comfortable stood there in those than i felt in my sandals! then with great a plomb she raised the heels a little and pivoted gracefully on the soles and seemed too glide away, she made her way up the 4 steps that led too the cafe,I made a quick move only too see her disappear behind the counter, surely she was not a waitress, not in those shoes, did she wear them all day , everyday? my mind was awash with thoughts, I hung around for a few moments making an excuse so my son would not have any idea why, the worst part of it all was I had my camera with me but couldn't capture the moment, as I had been talking too our friends at the time, it may have looked a little obvious!, what a goddess, i'll have too return now next year just too see if she is there!!

  2. Hi Lorriette, I tried your suggestion for my own boots and ended up with a rather nasty inflamed section on 3 toes where the silicon reacted, rather painful! i would suggest covering the feet with a thin plastic bag too prevent this happening again , i will try again sometime ! However , i already produced a solution too this problem about 8 months ago using expanding foam!!! bare with me ! inset a large enough plastic bag into the boot ( i used a small bin liner ,pedal bin type) spray the inside of the bag lightly with water, place a bag over the foot( the same type will do ) tape on too secure too the foot and calf , spray this also it does not have too be dripping wet, this all helps the foam slip and slide, place the foot with bag inside the bag in the boot do not lace up yet, place the tube of the foam can down inside around the toes squirt the foam inside the boot not a lot required it expands about 10 times its size! Lace up the boot as quickly as you can keeping your foot too the back of the boot , you will feel the foam expanding and moving around and it does make the boot rather tight at times but if you live with it , not sure now how long it took too set but it wasn't ages , you can fee it setting !! DO NOT OVER DO THE FOAM!! as i said it expands and finds its way everywhere if you are not careful, but the finished article is great it fills the gaps at the end of the boot surrounding your toes it also fills any gaps around the arch area giving extra support, it may take a couple of goes too get it right but they work brilliantly, removal is easy you foot doesn't get coated in anything nasty and neither does the boot if you are careful!!!!!! with the amount!!!! peelaway the bags, use as it is after fully set or tape the outer surface too make easier too remove from boot if you wish too remove ever, you can trim for a perfect fit etc etc. mine lasted me around 7 months of wear and tear , tied lorriettes idea too see if woud work better but , i will refer too my idea again , hope this works for you ,

  3. Hi Roz, 5" for some with size 5 feet are a challenge, you come into the category of superwoman!! at 6" 6" is really high on size 5, and as for 7" well , it will have too be seen too be believed ! photo's please!!! my ex wouldn't even look at 5" let alone try, boring i say, push it too the limit the higher the better , have you ever tried ballets! and not the flats!! being a dancer , been there done that i presume. She wasn't aware i wore heels! but i can only do 5" at the mo as i tore a calf muscle cycling a while ago and have had too curb my heeling i did get too do 6" fairly easily and i have ballets and find them easier than really high heels , i have a pair of 7" courts no platform and cannot do these at all , legs bent looks awful, and i'm a size 8 uk so for you too be trying 7" in size 5-6 is just awesome, my mind has gone already thinking about it, have fun trying, keep us all posted andy
