  1. I've had this happen to me too on different occasions, where some people don't seem to notice what your wearing on your feet, while some seem to take notice right away, its strange in a way too, but for the most part hardly anyone seems to notice my footwear, & I dont really have the time to even CARE what anyone may think as they walk by me (or me walking past them) as a matter of fact, if I DO see someone staring right @ my boots I just go on about my bussiness like always!! (I'm thinking to myself well if you want to stare @ a guy wearing heeled boots, like what do I care!!??) :P

  2. well, those are very nice thigh boots :o I'd get a pair myself if i had the money right now (which I really dont) :( but oh well............. 8) by the way, I wore my black leather jeans with my platform loafers the other day @ the mall (I live in southern CA & it was raining quite hard @ times) :o I was waiting to go oacross the street to the movies to see THE AVIATOR very good movie also!! but any ways, A guy walking with 2 other girls (they were teens I think ofcourse) & I was waiting in line to get some cash @ the one of 2 ATMs in the mall (the one on the 2nd level was OUT of cash @ the time) & when I was looking to my right I was the guy kind of give one of those stupid laughs when he looked @ my shoes!! :D but I also love to see those "gears" turns in peoples heads when they they can not process the information that they "saw what they just saw- a guy when hearing heels of some type" & couldnt deal with it !! :P the 2 other girls didnt say anything but leave it to this guy to make a idiot out of himself as if I was the funniest thing he had seen in the mall!! :P like you said (or someone in here the other day) it was PRICELESS!! :(

  3. hi there! (or should I say hola amigo!!) :P I'm half Spanish myself, being that my mother's familiy is from northern Spain (Santander) welcome to the high heel forum meeting place! I feel that womens boots are muy guapo on men!! (they are better looking than "mens" boots for sure!)

  4. well folks, I'm very proud of BEING gay AND wearing heels!! :P & I dont even consider myself being STEREOTYPICAL either, I am a lot like micha in that respect in that I still know I'm a MAN- all MALE, but being a GAY male that HAPPENS to love wearing heels!! :P I cant for the life of me understand this connection of heels & gays exept that it is some kind of warped idea that ALL gays are drag queens!! :x (stupid in the least I'd say) you can be gay OR str8t, OR even bi and STILL love to wear heels! :D the only "leather" scene I'm in is the style of clothing which is mostly leather for going out in, INCLUDING boots!! HEELED boots for that matter!!

  5. well, I keep all my boots & shoes & all of my leathers (outerwear, all black) waterproofed & cleaned & very polished all of the time, it sure keeps them looking like new for a very long time!! :P I feel more sexy in polished clean leather :D & that means that I always look & feel my very best over all!! :P

  6. well thighbootguy, it looks like you have a great place to show off your boots!! I don't really mind those wolf-calls as you "call" them- pun very much intended!! :D to me its a lot better than very stupid things that people yell out of car windows mostly teens, but adults who never got out of that age too!! :x it is flattering to hear wolf calls or wistles (@ least to ME it is) :o now when I hear "faggot!" yelled @ me I could care less, because all they are saying to me is what I know about myself anyways (that I'm gay) :) so I pay NO attention whatsoever to ANY stupid remarks (disapproving or confused looks I just pretend like they do not exist, I have better things to think about during the daylight hours) I'd love to see a pic of you IN your thigh boots, if you could send in here or to me. here is my address: bradleyboots2001@yahoo.com oh & by the way my late Dad was a sign painter- artist & loved to make scetches of stuff too. keep up the good work your doing thighbootguy!! :D

  7. oh how true micha, how true!! :) I've had plenty of days like that, it all chalks up to experience! just yesterday my older aunt didnt want me to wear my blade heel boots to go out with her (after all she is 84, & most people of her generation hardly accept this concept of men in any kind of heels) but I love her & respect her, so its not really a big deal with me. how does your family handle YOU in heels by the way, if I may be so bold to ask!?

  8. wear your boots with pride!! :) I have thigh boots but they are flat heeled, all the rest ( ankle & knee high) are high heeled & wear them with pride as well, you see how easy it is! any weird looks that you may find when your out & about can be simply ignored (that goes for those idiotic comments as well) you dont have to answer to ANY stranger(s) so cares what THEY think or say!!?? :o

  9. well neutral to me means that one does not really care one way or the other, so the ones who appear to be neutral, dont really seem to have an opinion on your style of attire :) I only listen to the positive reactions myself!! :o

  10. I'm glad that the day went well too thighbootguy, but I'm sorry that you had slipped on some ice!! :) I know how risky walking on that can be, since I almost got hurt really bad while up in the San Bernardino mts (i.e. BigBear-this was even in flat shoes too- not even boots back then) it happened over 12 years ago too!

  11. they look VERY sexy micha!! :) I'm getting a pair of black leather pants (jeans style) frome a great leather site called www.leatherup.com the pants were only (about) $75.00 but with next day shipping about $95.00 (they retail for over $100, so I think that I had gotten a very good bargin. they should arrive @ my door step tommorow, tues @ the latest! I'll let you know when they arrive-they will look great with my boots (all exept my thigh boots which are flat heeled) :o yours, Brad

  12. well loveheel, I would understand that you might like skirts too (I do too) :o but you must have known that the thigh boots were made to wear with either skirts OR over your pants, but no wonder you had such trouble trying to put them UNDER the pants, since they are not MADE to be worn that way. if I were you the next time that you went into a store to try them on, I'd just go ahead & wear the thigh boots in question with your pants tucked in to them (the way they should be worn with pants) & don't even bother caring about anyone who looks @ you or what ever the hell they may think (or say)-it is NONE of their bussiness one way or the other (since you would not ask them about the boots, why should you care about the opinions of complete strangers!!! :) ) just trying to help!

  13. well I live in southern calif micha, & I'll tell you (I'm sure that you know any ways) that there has been a series of really bad storms that have brought record amounts of rainfall & in the mountains record snow! :) I try to water proof my leather boots (even the fake leather ones can usually benefit from this as well) so I love winter as the chance to wear my boots more often. there may indeed be a climate change happening, its hard to tell @ this point.

  14. thats a good one micha!! :) I work in a supermarket myself (ralphs) & there have been several times when there freezer problems, but to my knowlege, never producing any fog (exept within the freezer itself) I do wear my boots a lot when I go to it as a customer!! :o everyone knows I'm gay & love to wear my heels!! I relish the stares!! its a pride I have learned to enjoy!! btw, I love those red pants you have micha!! I find them very sexy on you & they match your style.

  15. oh gee, I'm sorry!! :o I guess I had gotten you confused with this other one!!) I too have thigh boots that are flat, but all the rest of my boots are blade heel & platform styles (one pair of blade heel knee high only in this case) I plan to wear my black wedge platform boots today cause it is raining (they are "fake" leather so they hold up much better in the rain) matched with my black rubberized rain long coat!! :) I live in southern CA (USA) & now I read in this morning's paper that everyone is starting to think like they do up north in WA state (weather is always it seems to me @ least to be a "state of mind"- pun intended here as well!!) some day I hope to get myself a pair of heeled thigh boots also! yours, Brad (tuckedintoboots)

  16. well said crotchhighboots :) I have noticed that kind of look on people's faces too, & I'll tell you it is always amusing to see!! just goes to prove that what certain folks do when confronted with the "unexpected" as it were, as if it all of sudden turned their universe upside-down or like a computer that is fed "wrong" information & then freezes up (pun intended) LOL  they just dont know how they can react it seems to things like this! I see it all of the time, keeps me going strong in my boots! yours,Brad

  17. I dont really care how much noise my heels make because I love to attract attention that way, just to get people to actually notice me in heels, not really caring what they may or may not think! :) this always makes my day & that I'm always proud to be wearing the boots I love (one of 4 different pairs) I have different styles of levis in length to wear with any given style of boot that I choose to wear for that day.

  18. well, I wear womens foot wear & male styles mostly but if I can find the right pair of tight jeans in womens style, or shirts or sweaters for that matter, then I'll wear them accordenly :) for the most part, I find the womens styles much better in general style than the mens ones ( I'll take womens styles over any mens on any given day)

  19. my mom is 74 herself micha, so you know as well I do it their generation that are "speaking" in that response. I am a gay single myself (I'm 50 but look a lot younger) but like you I share a passion for really tall boots & leathers to wear with them as a fashion statement!! :) I'd love some other pics of you in your boots if you would like to send them to me- here is my email address : bradleyboots2001@yahoo.com & I'll send you some pics of mine as well!! :o I hope that you had a merry christmas & have a happy new year too!

  20. that sounds like a great idea, 6in_pumps! :o but I'd be carful doing that on key west if there was a hurricane coming! (its kind of hard to stand in heels that are that 4 inches high when a big wind starts to blow) LOL :) I for one would love to go down to the keys (or to florida in general)

  21. thats right, just go about like its the most normal thing in the world to do!! :) I have found that if anyone DOES look, its really no big deal cause I have more imortant things to think about than what some stranger may think about my boots! I know its all in the mind with most males when it comes to wearing any heeled footwear, cause all they think is that "oh my god! what anyone would SEE me in these!!?" :o now, if you take THAT attitude & multiply it MANY times, well... you get the idea about this problem of men that might want to be wearing ANYTHING that is "intended" for the women, but allow the "fear factor" to rule their mind of their "peers"-its really quite rediculous if you look @ it like I do in the over-all picture!

  22. its just about the same ratio for me micha too! :-? only 2 pairs of reeboks (Id like to point out that NOTHING I wear on my feet are MENS footwear by the way) and all the rest are heeled boots/loafers of some kind or another!! :D you couldnt PAY me to wear ANYTHING thats called "mens"!! thank god I have really small "mens" feet (size 7 USA, size 9 women USA) yours, Bradley PS: I love ALL of your boots Micha I wish I could have ones like them too they look FAB on you!!

  23. such is the imagination of a child!! :-? or as its been known: "out the mouths of babes" type of thing!! it's quite clear that the kid doesnt seem to know what real army boots should LOOK like exept that @ one point in time they WERE like army boots (minus the high heels) in the earlier centuries (17th-19th I mean) since they WERE thigh high for the post part!!

  24. hi there!!! :D well I NEVER go into "mens" shoe dept. in ANY store!! my feet ALWAYS fit better in womens sizes, not to mention that its the BOOTS that I mostly try on (& buy ofocourse) :) but in this case when the same type of style comes in womens & mens, I always go for the former! a snugger fit in womens size 9 which is the same as mens size 7- I think they form better to my feet in the long run. yours, Brad
