Do tell us about them when you get them! Lots of lovely shoes there.

Finally got around to counting what I bought in '09. 26, geez, what was I thinking?

That's a good question. I know they (you,we, hmm) are out there from reading this forum. I too have yet to see anyone else. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to compliment the heeler. hhboots, I guess we are in the same part of the country. I don't go out in heels too often as I'm still nervous when out and about.

someone named Bob wrote a reply on the 26th. The closing had me rotflmao.

2006 BMW X3, Black with Terracotta Leather (kind of basketball colour) so I call it Jack (as in the Pumpkin King).

you will find that yours is a very common story. Well, probably not on being 6' 9" without heels. Welcome.
-
You will be assimilated. As in you too will want the heels that I have. Those of us in hhplace are the borg. lol

Hey HeelsForMen, sounds like you may work for Philips. Is the fancy dress weekend an Eindhoven thing or a Netherlands thing?

nothing wrong with a classic pump, I like the 9 west myself. Zappos has great customer service. Got the shoes in my avatar from them.

Why on earth would I want to be "normal"???

A friend of mine who grew up with diabetes passed along the following bit of trivia from his endocrinologist:
Even if lack of hair doesn't indicate a lack of good circulation in the feet, hair on the tops of the toes do indicate good circulation there.
This is interesting trivia. In my case it's a general lack of body hair. Could never even grow a beard, would look like a teen trying to look older if it weren't for the few grey ones that I now have. If the couple that my big toes have (so I slightly exaggerated earlier) disappear, I'll keep this in mind.

I voted 'no' as there are none to shave in the first place. I think hairy toes would be a bit too Hobbit like too look good in HH sandals.

Thank you for the welcomes. I am an admirer and a wearer. I love the look of shoes with heels, so many different styles, shapes, colours, heel heights - why should women have it all, so I have some of it as well.
I'm with you, so many different styles..... Mens shoes are completely boring in comparison.

Welcome ShoeDre! I wish my wife was half as accepting as yours.

I voted STILETTO HEEL, thin platform. I do have a few chunky heels that I can wear to work without notice.

I did that, and it gives an error saying that the pic has already been uploaded in the other section.

Just noticed this thread in the "For Everybody" section. Glad to see one here so that everyone can comment if they want. Here is my latest purchase (yesterday). AK Anne Klein - Christa, 3" heel, I know, not very high by this sites standards, but a height that I'm comfortable with. What I liked about these is that the sides are asymmetrical. sorry, can't put the pics here as they are already in the "For Guys only" section. The shoes in my avatar are them. Pat

I understand from some of the above postings that there are guys who are unhappy about women posting in the guys thread so for me that clarifies things nicely.
I think what HH fanatic says is perfectly true.
Strictly guy stuff is guy stuff and everybody stuff is for everybody.
I apologize for posting in this section but the other sections are hardly used and with very little in the way of interesting topics.
I would suggest if you enjoy female feedback on any postings or threads then you would be better off posting them in the everybody thread.
That's enough from me in here.
Thank you.
Amanda
I really appreciate getting a women's point of view on heels. I agree with Amanda in that there are a lot more topics here in the "Guys" section. E.G. "Who's bought new shoes?".

Yes I ride bikes all the time mainly a GXSR 1000 or RVF 400 have only ridden wearing boots once which were of a cowboy style not sure that wearing high heels while riding a sports bike is very safe in the event of an accident....besides you can always wear cool biking boots :-)))
You bum, I wish we could get the RVF400 over here. I had a VFR750 that I loved. Traded it in 2001 for a CBR 929. Nice and light and loves to turn.

very nice. I like the back accent on the heel.

Now working in Kent, nothing really hits me...
I lived and worked in Kent for a couple of years, had to get out. Grew up on the east side, there is no comparison.

I too would love to hear your views. It's fantastic that you are so open minded about it.
