The narrator in the video says, the DJ that organized the race is considering a Nordic high heels race. "Nordic" remains unexplained, but I think that means the Nordic countries.

Exclamation points, and what's worse, YELLING, are for advertisements only. It makes them easier to ignore.

This article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freestyle_fashion hhplace member Kneehighs initiated is not about a movement, but I think your article covers it pretty well. Do you think they ought to be merged?

I would have voted for either pair of steel heeled boots if they weren't patent leather. Now I picked the Ann Jordan pumps.

We have the coin operated carts here, too.
Where I live, the mall and the parking lot are equipped with an alarm system. When (well... if) caught taking the cart out of the parking lot, you'll get fined at least 25 Euros.

I watched that episode twice, and I recall looking forward to the second time.
Mystery is my favourite kind of fiction. The cobination of heels, mystery and magic is just superb!
And obvoiusly, so did I.oviously it foucused on the shoes alot.

I recently purchased the same style in leather (so not the ones in my avatar!). They're a good fit, but not particularly tight. But I wonder if latex is tighter. Fortunately, they come in half sizes.

I don't think this is pointy at all. It is certainly not more feminine than the elevated heel. I say go for them!

The English version is called freestyle fashion.
Anyway, I think freestyle fashion is a contradiction in terms. Fashion is about things that large groups of people do and copying that, for the sake of copying. Freestyling, by contrast, is the choice to ignore fashion, not to change it.
Calling it freestyle dressing would be more appropriate.

Despite my 170 posts, I'm quite a lurker myself. I think many people think signing up is compulsory, as it is compulsory on many boards. So most zero or one time posters are probably one time visitors.

What's worse, you can't recollect them in the search function, for it rejects search strings containing an * altogether.Half an hour later, here I am, but all the unread message indications are gone, in every category. Very annoying.

I remember exactly when it first happened. I was 8 years old and the school teacher (I didn't like anyway) wore black 3" spike boots to class one day. I'm pretty sure heels didn't mean much to me before that, but these boots were different. They were slick, virtually seamless. They turned me on somehow! I could keep my eyes off them while the teacher sat at her desk and I had to lean to the side to get a clear view from my position. I did't dare give myself away staring but this invisible force made me look! This made it more exciting again. Since then heels have always drawn my attention, life had changed forever. I've developed a particular taste for smooth and slick pumps and boots with pointed heels and toes. Actually, most heels mean nothing to me. The wrong style even turns me off. (copied and pasted from one of my 2 year old posts) So it has been 34 years now.

I agree with Shafted. This chart shows heels can be too high IMHO.

It seems there hasn't been a single post for 35 hours! Was the board really down that long, or are we all losing heart?

I scored perfectly neutral for half the tests and extremely male for the other half. That makes me an average male too.

What makes you think they manufacture their own footwear? I think The Little Shoe Box is one of their suppliers.

That's right, Barney - as a nation. Several ethnic groups in Africa must be taller, though. I think tall people tend not to wear heels.

I've seen several stories on that. One is called "The stiletto trap" and here is another.

Excellent choice, Bubba. A Leatherworks pair of boots has been my avatar for ages too.

I'm with trolldeg. Toes down first is a silly looking walk. Wasn't it restricted to the 'catwalk flip'?
-
Sorry, I don't own a pic of my boots or myself in any heels.
They look like this Leatherworks Bianca style, but the heel is 11cm.
The trouser legs cover my legs completely, but I still prefer a pair of knee boots like my avatar. If only I could find a pair that fit my calves...
-
I won't do that. I'm proud of my hairy legs. Heeling is just for play once in a while. Bare legged in boots, I like the feeling of the snug fit of the leather.Once you shave your legs and put on stocking or pantyhose (I prefer stockings with a garter belt), the effect is there. You see why women look so good in them .

All styles I like to see on a woman work for me. That is slick, pointy but not shiny boots. Until a few months ago I'd been an admirer of women in heels only. Now my own boots help me fantasize about them. Women in classic pumps are equally attractive, but pumps are not for me to wear. My masculine legs would spoil the effect.
-
One good reason for me not to wear heels is I want my heels to remain special. I don't want to become a habitual heeler. Heeling is something to look forward to. Indeed that's half the fun.
