I prefer quiet heels. I want to wear heels, and if people notice, fine, but I don't necessarily want to attract attention. I'm not one to show off.

I wouldn't call this sharing. A couple of good friends(mother and daughter) of mine recently lost the contents of their house due to a fire. My wife and I passed on some of our heels that we don't wear along with some other things to help them get back on their feet.

I find it almost gross to think of a nice pair of shoes with hair around. Boots are one thing but whenever the skin is visible it should be smooth and hairless. When the designer created those shoes he surely didn't imagine hair coming out of them.

Some years back I bought an epilator. Let me tell you it hurts like hell and that it's not true that the second time it's better! On the other hand, it's very effective. Hair grows back but much less. Nowadays it can happen that i don't shave for a few days but even then I only have much less hair than I used to.

Epilation by sugaring (see my post above) done by a professional person is still a little bit hurting, but he/she knowns some tricks to reduce the pain. And the result is worth it.

I would go even a step further and recommend epilation by sugaring (see Wikipedia 'Sugaring').

Those boots arrived just yesterday.

Aanndd they are AWESOME.

They are fitting. This is normally a concern, because with a high heel, sometimes one needs a size greater.

They have a towering 10cm heel high, but are comfortable to wear.

They are black with a 'touch of male' look.

They are 'silent', when walking.

All in all, simply a 'winner'.

Yep - BUFFALO has lots of nices heels - but most of them are only available up to size 41, seldom 42.

Hi gang, I'm the more 'male look' heel wearer. I prefer heels, with which you can 'get away' as male footwear. Therefore I think the actual fashion of wedge heels is great for me and my taste of heeled shoes I dare to wear. BUT ... you know there always comes a 'BUT' ... why are those styles, especially the ones I have attached, not available in larger sizes? :-( Regards Dirk

I've spent the whole day without comment or notice from my colleagues and boss, even taking the time to have a nice chat with the boss in the canteen over a coffee and he didn't notice anything different at all.

I think providing I steer clear of my abundant stiletto collection for a while, no-one will even notice. I can't tell you how darn liberating it is to be able to get up and walk about without switching to my boring-as-hell shoes first!

Hi gang!

I surfed Zappos for a new pair of mules/clogs a nd found this one :

They are available in my footsize european 43 (us-women 12),

BUT I live in germany/europe and Zappos don't ship outside U.S.

So, has anyone an idea how to get my hands (oops . . . feet) on a pair of those shoes?
