I usually wear knee-highs, pantyhose, trouser socks or tights when I wear my boots. Everyone once in a while I go bare, but I prefer something on.

I voted that I wear inside, and someday outside. Most of my wearing is at night and/or to bed after the family has gone to bed, or during the day when I am off, and everyone else is at work or school. I have, on occasion, worn flat heeled shoes or boots to walk to the end of the block to get my mail, and have driven many times in heels. I used to drive only 5 minutes to get to work, but my new job is a good 20 minutes away now, so I will get to enjoy that a little bit more.

nestea, I sleep in bed with shoes and boots on many nights, because all of mine are indoor shoes only. I have done this for many many years, and have never torn a sheet or punctured a mattress.

From Kansas. Also miserable hot, humid, summers ... and this has been one.

Used to be from Kansas too, now in Iowa. Just as hot and miserable here too. I hate it when it is still in the 80's at 10 pm.

Well, after being off work for 13 weeks, I am finally working again. I am still in retail (which I was hoping to get away from), but I am now the store bookkeeper for a new store location opening up here in town. I am excited, and glad to be working again. It takes a great load off my shoulders, and my family is happy as well, because I was quite depressed for a little while. I just wanted to share this news, because I am excited. Thanks for listening.

HappyinHeels, I used to collect beers as well. I had well over 300. I had them all prodly displayed on shelves in my den in California. Then in 1994, the Whittier Narrows earthquake knocked all but 2 bottles to the floor. I never started over. I still have (somewhere in storage) those 2 bottles.
