  1. Hiya :-) Well, I'm sure I could think up a few things to ask you about. I'll go and make a list
  2. Actually getting to 5 posts does make a difference in terms of access to parts of this site is concerned (as I discovered recently). Anyway, I liked the David Cameron joke :-)
  3. I'm like you, timtastic. That is to say, I love to see elegant, high heels on a woman, but I don't feel the urge to wear heels myself. OK, from time to time I might wonder what it would be like, but it's not really what I want to do. From reading the posts I get the notion that most of the guys here are heel wearers, which leaves me feeling a little out of things at imes. But I persevere :-)
  4. The truth is, Confused, you don't need an excuse. No one will actually ask you for one. The need for an excuse is inside our own heads. I used to go into shoe shops and buy shoes that I liked for my wife. At first I always had a rehearsed excuse, but then I got used to to idea (well, I did it quite a lot over the years). Besides YOU are the customer.. and the customer is always right. Or so they say :-)
  5. Hi, confused, I'vebeen reading your posts with interest....well, they are very readable! Much as I love heels, I don't have the urge to wear them myself, but this post reminded me a something from a fewyears ago. I was in a shoe shop with my wife having a look round and a fairly well built young man came in and asked the saleswoman if "someone" (didn't catch the name) was in that day. We continued our look round... some nice classic stilettos on the shelves.. then I noticed the young man hadn't left, but had his trousers rolled up to just below the knee and was trying on a pair of gold, pointed toe stilettos for size. It's the only time I've seen a guy trying on heels, and I admit to being mildly surprised, but it just goes to show.... you're not the firt, and you won't be the last. I'm glad it worked out for you :-)
  6. Hi, Prata. Well, I hope you are recovering OK from the surgery. I can imagine getting into heels might present a problem or two.. but persevere, you'll get there
  7. Hi Penny. I suspect a lot of people here will share your enthusiasm . I'm a big fan of ladies wearing heels, as you might expect.
  8. Hi Kouryukin... I'm not a fan of platforms either. Bet you look great in your heels :-)
  9. I loved living there, but, so far, I've only had a couple of opportunities to go back. Once to the town I lived in and once I had a short visit to Salzburg. By the way, I see you like the classic styles. Me, too.
  10. :-) I lived in Austria (Vorarlberg) in my student days.
  11. Thanks, yozz. Yes, you are right, I can do the things I couldn't do before. No excuse for not posting now :-)
  12. Soory, to hear of your bad experience, Nina. I use eBay a lot and buy a wide range of goods there. The only bad experiences I've had so far have been with people selling comemorative glasses quite near where I live. Generally watching the ratings, reading feedback and using payPal works out well, but there is always an element of risk, I suppose.
  13. Hi, hhaddicted. :-) I spotted that you are from Austria... a place dear to my heart. Grüsse aus Schottland. Hope you enjoy it here :-)
  14. Hmm... I've been around for quite a while now and I find the same thing. Getting the message: you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. As I'm not trying to any of the things mentioned, I was beginning to assume it was maybe somthing to do with building up a number of posts. The "not having priveleges" message tends to make me less enthusiastic about posting (though I suppose by posting this I'm contradicting myself).
