  1. bluesman, Our situations are very similar. Like you the issue is now a trust thing. I have started being upfront with her on this, and only time and my trustworthyness (is that even a word) can heal the broken trust. Until then, I am afraid the wearing of heels is on hold. I stinks, but I love my wife and we can work through this. Thank you for showing me there are others in this spot.

  2. To all the married men out there: A couple of years ago, my wife found my heels, and was very concerned. We had our issues, and ended up throwing out the heels. After talking about it for a while (3-6 months) she came home from shopping with a surprise for me. A gougeous pair of gold Guess sling back heels (much like my avatar). I have been able to wear them twice, and now it causes issues. I have since tried to explain to my wife on a few occasions how my liking to wear heels does not make me a cross-dresser. I just like the feeling of heels. I like the arch it positions my foot in. I like the extra height it gives me, I like the way it makes my legs feel, and I like the way I feel inside. I have made references to the style changes of the past ie. women now wearing jeans and sneakers, cutting their hair short, men having pierced ears, and so on. And she still doesn't see my point. What can I do to save my marriage?

  3. I only own one pair of heels. They are very similar to my avatar. Gold Guess slingback 4 1/2" heel stilletos with a 3/4" platform. The only difference between my avatar and my actual heels are that mine are more plain. just the gold faux leather, no buckles or anything. I will post a picture of me in them soon.:winkiss::nervous:

  4. I have not bought any shoes in a while, but that does not stop me from going into the store to try them on. That is still an amazing thrill. Especially since my wife is so uncomfortable with the whole thing. Shopping for heels and trying them on is the closest I get to street heeling, so I try to do it at least 2 times a week, if not more. Also on a side note, have you ever noticed that the larger "women's" shoes are located next to the mens shoe aisle? (Usually Payless Shoes and usually the same aisle, just opposite side) If you are too nervous and someone enters the aisle, all you have to do is turn around and look at the men's shoes. no one will be any the wiser of your intentions.:winkiss:

  5. Bootking, You have great legs in your avatar!!:winkiss::nervous: Way Up!! That would be great. Last time my wife and I used my heels as an accessory, she asked me to remove them before curling up and going to sleep. I did leave them on as long as possible, but still to no avail.

  6. Sandalfan, Congtatulations on your first street heel. Mine was a few years back, but I have been to uneasy to do it lately, as I have lost intrest in the complete femme look. I feel the complete look is less noticable (if your wig and make-up are convincing, and then no one cares if they see a woman in heels. My issue now is getting the nerve to wear my heels, similar to the ones in my avatar, with my mens clothing. I am too nervous that it will look too unnatural, even though I have gotten quite well at walking in them. Congtats again, and good luck to you in your future heeling adventures.:winkiss:

  7. I must say that I am a bigger fan of the more feminine open toe stilletos and sandals rather than boots. I just love the way they feel. As for actual street-heelin', I have to say that it is minimal. I haven't done it in quite a long time (at least 3 years), but hope to do it again. When I did, I went out all femme, but that has become less comfortable over time. I realized that all I want to wear are the tallest, most feminine shoes possible. I also enjoy the feeling of pantyhose on my legs, which I do wear from time to time, but it is only under jeans or other pants. Never visual to the public. I really don't care about showing off, it is just the feeling of the hose and heels that I like, not other's reactions. :winkiss:

  8. I had an airport experience as well. My wife and I were returning home from our honeymoon. The thrill was that her heels did not fit in and of our baggage, so I strapped them to the outside of my carry-on bag. It was quite a rush getting all sorts of looks, but no comments, from most people, as the shoes were in clear sight hanging from my backpack. :winkiss:

  9. I have back when I lived at my parents house, but since I have moved into a new house with my wife, I have not, but wish I could. I used to love the feel of my legs and feet under the sheets when wearing hose and heels. The smoothness of the sheets on my legs, and the arch my feet made...Oh so good...I miss that feeling.

  10. I used to street heel in a pair of oxfords with a heel of 3". I do not streetheel anymore, but not because I do not want to. My wife objects to it, but if I still did, it would definately be in shoes similar to my avatar, as that the only pair of heels I own. I love the feeling of open toes, and a HIGH heel (not less than 4"). I am also really good at the balancing and walking, so it doesn't hurt my feet.:winkiss:

  11. Only been complimented once while wearing my heels, but I was actually in full femme with wig, make-up, nails, black womens dress pants, a white blouse, and black faux leather coat with a tie around the waist. The guy was behind the counter in an adult video store. He told me that I portrayed myself as a woman very well, I think his exact words were, "Wow, you really pull that off." That was after I said no thank you to,"Is there anything else I can help you with?" I have a very masculine voice, which is the only way he new I was CD'ing. That was back quite a few years ago, back when I didn't care what other people thought, and figured if i didn't talk, no one would notice. Nowadays, I am more grown into my masculine body and even deeper/more scratchy voice, and I can't cover my facial hair stubbs even with a close shave, so I don't go out anymore.

  12. I choose the stilleto, but after looking at the images, I would have to say none, as I am not a boot fan, but prefer more feminine looking shoes. saying that, I own a pair of gold stilletos similar to my avatar, which I absolutely love. I also like wedges and chunk heels provided they are at least 3.5" tall.

  13. What I actually wear to work almost everyday is a pair of good fitting men's jeans, a t-shirt (white or colored) and a button down shirt. Today on my feet I am wearing brown suade tied loafer style mens shoes with a 1/4" heel. Other times I wear sneakers, as my job pays for it's employees knowledge rather than appearance.

  14. I only have one pair of heels, which my wife bought me. I do not wear them out of the house, not even in the car, but would love to. I would wear my gold 4.5" heel, 3/4" platform open toe, sling back stillitoes with by mens jeans (cover all but the tip of my toes, and the very bottom on the heel). They apear very discrete in the mirror, but do have a loud click clack when I walk which I fear draws too much attention to me/my wife.

  15. I need to change my answer. I talked to my wife about it last night. I brought up a lot of the points that I've read on this forum, and she is less enthusiastic about me heeling in public than before. She thinks there is something wrong with me wanting to wear "women's" shoes, at which point I asked her why it is ok for women to wear jeans, flats, and hoodies, and for men to have ears pierced (which was a women's fashion), but not ok for me to wear heels. I want to thank you for all for the advice I have read, and hope my wife and I can work this out.
