    Indeed!!

    How does that lock work?

Those boots though... Look really good quality!

The ones i had like those had a small allen screw to lock the togather then you slipped a padlock through so you couldnt get at screw.

Ive been locked into many boots over the years by my naughty wife lol

Quick coffee on the way home last night wearing the Ralph Lauren boots. The weekends coming up some more chances to “break the mould” and get out and about in heels.

Nice boots i bet they didnt even notice them

    Hiya all.

So, I have been yearning to buy a new pair or 2 for a long time (since Jan probably...)  and although I haven't heeled for ages, I do want to get back to it.

Am debating between 2 pairs: a pair of heeled sandals with an ankle strap and rear zip or a pair of OTK high heeled boots. One the one hand the boots are a size 9 (UK), so that's a safer bet (sandals are a 8 UK, though am pretty sure these will fit too ) , on the other hand, OTK are somewhat of a pain to get on and off... and heels are much more practical that way …
They are the same price  - £20, and possibly 25% off with a promo code.

I currently have 1 pair of flat OTK boots and have worn them only a handful of times. But the heeled ones will be much more fun to wear ;-)

    Any comments, suggestions?

I would go with the stiletto boots now then treat yourself in the summer to sandals, You will certainly have fun in those stiletto boots and well worth the little extra trouble getting on :)

    Did you sell your boots?

This is my first post in this forum and am still finding my way round.

I've had many boots made by MJ and the photo is one of them. 30 inches tall.

As some have said the fit is not always right and others have found the fit good. In my experience I've found most of MJ boots very tight around the in-step despite giving measurements for a more generous fit. Having said that his boots are usually good and MJ is always helpful. My feet are wide.

    What’s it like wearing?

Well, heads will be turning, I promise you that especially a man wearing them. I've had a lot of compliments from both guys and women. Turning to the real issue of how they fit: Depends on the heel height you choose and if you are outside your comfort zone for heels. Start off with a more practical heel height for you say 4inches. That's what I've got as all my other boots are lower. Walking in them for me is fine for me now after I have walked around in them for a while.

It's really exciting receiving your boots and them pulling them on. It’s a strange experience pulling on such a tall boot for the first time. It got stuck many times. (Tip  - use a small plastic bag like you get in supermarkets in the UK when you select your loose vegetables. That helps). Once pulled on the feeling is amazing and you'll be able to walk in the home ok as you have restricted movement in your home. The leather is quite hard and needs to be broken-in at the knee especially when sitting. It will feel uncomfortable at first but very quickly the leather will mold into your shape.

Going out in them for the first time was great but found walking in them hard after five minutes Maybe that’s because where I live its not flat ground but a steep hill with up and down gradients. I've mastered that now and find walking and sitting in them fine. They certainly keep your legs warm in winter.

I would also say that the boot you are interested in is , well lets say rare, not common. That makes it much more interesting. I think boot wearers should have atleast one thigh high boot in their collection. Go for it.

PS - Never have bee good at taking selfies!

I will do my best, my Wife has just told me she has ordered two pairs of boots for me. I will have to see how they fit and look but they are a lace up style with a side zip and a lower height stiletto heel in a faux black suede. We will have a look and see what we both think  once I've got them.

Sound like interesting boots we will look forward to the possibility of seeing them in action :)

    Starbucks In Stilettos

I managed to make it to one of our local Starbucks on my drive home. Walked in accompanied by the click of the 3 1/2" stiletto heels, and ordered an espresso as I couldn't spend too long before I needed to get home. There were a few customers sitting around but mot overly busy so  after confidently walking past the other customers accompanied by the heel noise on the tiled floor I settled down into a nice comfortable chair.

I relaxed back to savour my espresso and probably spent ten to fifteen minutes before leaving and walking across the car park with plenty of people walking past. So for today at least I've had my daily  click fix

Nice to hear you had your daily fix and a great pic, keep on clicking :)
