Hi, that’s a pretty impressive collection there to be honest mate, love how you’ve managed to categorise them, is it mainly shoes you wear or do you like boots too? And interested to know what size you wear as they don’t look overly large although pictures can be deceiving, I’m only a uk 5 so great when you can buy straight off the shelf.

Keep enjoying your heels mate and look forward to seeing more in the future

They are all mostly all US11, so   uk 9 1/2?

Have about 10 pairs of boots.

@subtle, I am simply curious--what is your personal definition of the difference between a mule and a slide? I see you used both terms to describe what I see as the same style of shoe. I have a special interest because more than half of my collection consists of backless shoes of one sort or another, and I have my own personal terminology that I use, whether it's technically "correct" or not.

It’s a bit blurry to be honest, hence the reason for a dual category.

@subtle - nice job on the photos. I wonder what the other half of your collection consist of? More of the same styles - or other styles?

Mainly a variety of boots, mostly booties or block heels.

I like your stiletto styles (whether pumps, d'orsay, sandals or peeps) and wedges.
By the way - in the sandals shot - is the 2nd left also a wedge?

Thanks, I didn’t do a great job aligning that one, but yes good spot, Jessica Simpson jinxxi.

Easy to find negative attributes on someone that dislikes you. Guess it’s a defence mechanism we need to feel better of ourself after negative comments. We always can find negative opinions about someone who dislikes us for what we wear

Women can act like this to each other, there’s often some jealousy fueled comments among friends about some other lady’s attire, they could be just too but still, the fact here is they are talking about someone else for their own entertainment. I don’t think they’re particularly picking on you, just you’re the easy target that’s in front of their face.

but I pretty much ALWAYS notice womens shoes, and can generally guess a woman is wearing heel by her gait, and sometimes even guess the heels correctly ;-)

Right, sometimes sound, calve shape, or even upper body posture.

I really like Nine West shoes.  Plus they go to a size 12 on most styles.  Those pumps look really nice Subtle, but the heel is to high for me, I prefer a bit lower.  Here is a pic of my latest Nine West shoes, the style is "Fields."  Very comfy and I have gotten a few compliments.  Have fun...  sf

I do have shorter ones like these...

  7. I wore some boots I have with a small block heel recently, they’re only just double the height of my everyday boots. So I ended up having to ride in an elevator with people, one of those do or die moments (or so it felt), there was a woman that I could see looking out of the corner of her eye, all I could think then was about what she was thinking, is she going to say something, or will she giggle. I’ve now come to the conclusion that I’m just going to keep wearing them to built my confidence. I’m looking at it as if every person that says nothing is a little bit more confidence I should have.
