  1. The last two months have seen me evolving from a closet heeler to wearing them in public, thanks to a line of wedges and block heels I found at Buffalo's. My favorite boots have a 14 cm (5.6") block heel with a 3 cm (2.2") platform. They're very comfortable, even for long walks. Only extremely uneven ground is a problem. And well, nobody's even given a look at them... I plan on wearing them all the time except to work (not yet!). Even after such a short time it's come to the point that heels feel more comfortable than flats... well part of it may be psychological ;-) No idea where this is going to lead, probably not to stiletto heels in public. Freestyle75, I absolutely love your style, especially the Costume National boots!

  2. These ballet slippers are a sculpture and an artistic statement. Can anybody imagine to walk more than two steps in them? The same is true for the shoes he made for David Lynch in 2007, they're just for looking at. Nothing wrong with that, in my opinion, especially as the money gained by auctioning the new slippers goes to the English National Ballet.

  3. You're right Richy, Persephone is the ultimate test person... If she cannot wear them, nobody can! I have some doubts about their practicability mainly because the sole is too straight. A little curve would help the heel to settle in comfortably. Well, we'll see...

  4. Celeste, how was the outcome of your experiment? You certainly cannot still be in ballet boots?! Since April 4th... that would be three weeks. Was it very painful? How did people react? How did your feet feel when you tried to adapt them to lower heels once again? Would you consider doing it again? I'm very curious on everything concerning ballet heels. It's been a dream of mine for very long to see ballet boots as daily footwear - some would say, a very male fantasy... However, women like you and a very few others prove that it's possible, if difficult. You have all my admiration.

  5. If I counted right you're now well into your second week of nothing but ballet boots. This is something very few of us could achieve, congratulations! I hope you'll be able to finish the week... but if the pain is too bad, by all means stop, or you'll damage your feet! It seems you're planning to wear ultra high heels as everyday footwear, glad to hear it.

  6. I gather from your previous posts that you have gained quite some ability in ballet boots. I would propose you to keep them on for one whole week, except for bathing, even in bed. When the pain gets too bad switch to your other pair. After this time, you decide whether to continue or not. Don't know whether you can take so long?

  7. These are among the most amazing boots I've ever seen! Congratulations, Luckyme! I especially love the elegant shape of the heel (very thin!), and the leather covered platform with the profile on the underside.

  8. That's excellent news, Littleblue, I'm proud of you. Don't worry about the increase of height, just train in 5" heels at home as often and as long as you can, in a few months they will be no issue at all. I have a few further ideas how to achieve permanency as fast as possible. Above all, you should avoid to ever bend your foot back into a flat position, even for a few seconds. That brings us back to the shower and sleep heel question, plastic heels for the former and boots with high heels (perhaps ballet) for the latter would certainly increase the speed for ankle equinus to kick in. For daily wear, boots are better than pumps or sandals, because they allow much less ankle flexibility. In any case, it will take a good while before you won't be able to flatten your foot anymore. It sounds like a wonderful ultimate goal to be stuck in high heels.

  9. Honestly, this is the first time I encounter someone getting permanent after a system. I know some girls to whom that happened unintentionally, because they never thought of shifting again to flats, and some day they notice they tend to tiptoe when barefoot. Others know what will happen, but wear heels all the same. But wishing this to happen, and developing a training system to achieve the goal? That's adorable. Considering your young age I cannot see any limits to your dedication - why, this may lead you to wearing ballet boots permanently! I can only encourage you in your decision which is one of the sexiest choices a woman can make. No more running, or walking on the beach --- being stuck in heels is the esthetically most pleasing form of bondage ever.

  10. That's wonderful news Littleblue. You have accomplished so much in only two weeks. Of course, this isn't permanent yet, but over the time you will certainly achieve your goal. Just stick to 4" for the moment and 5" only for short periods of time, slowly increasing the time in the latter. What are your shower heels doing? And have you found a practicable mode to achieve stretching in bed?

  11. Are you planning on strapping the stretchers to your feet during sleep? That will make it impossible to stand up. I'd counsel you to use the stretchers only for short periods of time to achieve some extreme arch, and to use ballet boots or 6" boots for bed. Best will be lace up boots: The tighter you lace them, the more your ankles and feet will be kept in position. Is wearing heels for work and all the time getting more comfortable for you?

  12. I agree with HeelDragon. Sandals are no good because your ankle can moove freely. No wonder you do not feel stretched when you wake up at the morning. Ballet boots are the ideal foot stretching device for sleep, though it's perhaps still a bit early for them in your case. I'm impressed by your stamina, good luck!

  13. hh&c fan, I didn't order them with a stiletto heel, they just came with it! But as often in life what you didn't choose turns out for the best. The heel is 8 2/3" (22 cm) high and the platform has 2 1/3" (6 cm) - that makes you stand on more than 6 inches! I only hope that the heel will not break. Does anybody have experiences with ultra stilettos from La Piazza? I love them so much and they're so well-fitting that I wore them to bed, what I don't do usually... They didn't make me wake up, which is a good sign. Will do it again!

  14. Fresh from the box... They finally came today! Apparently, La Piazza had lots of difficulties with their manufacturers. But they always answered me and were so sorry. These beauties have no block heel like I had ordered, but a stiletto heel, but after a few hours I decided they're much lovelier like that. I'm definitely in love! I will try to post more pictures. They're not easy for walking!

  15. They are fantastic. Their only fault is that I'm still waiting for them (since November). Apparently, a parcel was stolen in February. La Piazza still makes a reliable impression on me. I'll certainly post pictures as soon as they're here. As for the price... a bit over 900 Euros. I hesitated a lot, but what does a devout fetishist not do a pair of glorious boots?
