  1. We were at a shpping centre a couple of weeks ago and we saw a fabulous pair of shoes with a 5.5" heel and elastic strapps over the foot. I loved the look of the shoes so much, we decided to buy them. She was sceptical about my abilities to handle such high heeled sandals. Needless to say they were very confortable. I didn't battle to walk in them at all.

  2. It is one of those steriotypical issues where you are compartmentalised into a catagory because of misinformed people who do not know what is going on around them. Not everything has to fit into a spesific sexual catagory. We wear heels because we can, and we want to. Not for any other reason. I enjoy wearing the heels as a hetrosexual male. My gay friends battle to understand this. I never judge the person, I look at the situation, and form my opinion. LegzG

  3. Hi Jay Jay, I have been supporting the Waners American Trade Store since I found their little shop at the Carnival City Casino. They are a bit expencive, but at least you can feed your heeling hunger quickly. I am so glad you found them. I wrote in one of my very early posts about them. They have always been very helpful. They even imported a pair of 5" velvet pumps for me that I saw on the JANTE website. Have a great holiday season. Cheers LegzG

  4. Hi to all the new posts driving in high heels. Keep the stories coming. I just bought a pair of black stilettos sandals with extremely thin heels 6". My usual height is 5" but it was not a problem to drive at all. My new Chevvy Cruze has 9555km's on the clock, and many happy km's were done in my favourite heels, black classic patent pumps 5.5" heels. We made a holiday trip down to the coast 3 weeks ago and I even went through roadblocks with the heels on. Luckily no traffic cops asked me to, step out. It would have been quite a STEP OUT!! Cheers LegzG

  5. You should check out my - Driving in 5" heels - thread on this site. Big ups for wearing and driving in the heels. It is a great thrill to know you can handle it. I do the driving in heels thing quite often. Extreme driving with a high heel twist. Enjoy!

  6. Hi Roniheels, thank you for your question. I suggest practicing different techniques with the vehicle in stationary position before driving. Alternatively wear a lower more pedal friendly heels. I try to wear the older heels more often as scuff marks appear because of the friction between the carpet and the heels. It took me a few years to get the correct posistion and technique. It would not go as far to say it is taboo, many lady drivers wear heels while driving and I refuse to get paranoid about it. I do it because I love heels, and the feeling while driving in heels. Mr Tech, thank you for your humourous take on the Driving in Heels postings. It does give a different perspective on the situation. Every story has different angles. We just prefer the angle wearing the higher heels. Happy driving all! I will be taking it down to 4" boots today, just to be a bit safer. Cheers! LegzG:smile:

  7. I have done the odd evening out in black boots. Heeling in SA is still a bit of a new thing. South Africa is a wonderful place, we are happy we could share some of the magic with the rest of the world. Post some of your pictures, lets warm the driving in heels club up to super hot!!

  8. Like I promised, some pics of my new heels taken from a test drive. Both pairs are tricky to manage, but I am used to getting around pedals by now. The 6.5" needle heels platforms and the elastic 7" heels are equally thrilling to wear for driving. I hope you kike them:wave:

  9. I just go a pair of strappy needle heel platforms. They are far too thin and delicate to drive in. I had to try them out. It was a different experience. For the first time the clutch was a bit of a challenge. It was still good as always.

  10. We went through a high heel evolution. In the beginning it was a private - in the clost issue, that was not discussed at all. It became a more open issue after we had a chance to get to know each others ideas better. My wife went out of her way to make it easier forme to wear my heels. It is like any relationship once one person starts giving, and the other returns the favour with a form of compromise, it becomes easier. I hope my everyone of the guys in heels get to experience the joy of zero conflict about heels soon. Happy Heeling!!

  11. Hi all the Extreme Drivers, I left the thread to see what it will evolve into. It is almost one year since I wrote about my first experiences while driving in heels. To all of the loyal supporters of "Driving in Heels" - Thank you for submitting your pictures and stories. Once again be safe and in control when you do your extreme driving. Practice makes perfect. I have just bought a brand new Chev Cruze. I still enjoy driving in my heels, and it just keeps on getting better. I'll post some new pic's soon. Bring the sexy back, have fun!!

  12. in high school I had to house sit during holidays for neighbours and friens. Many times high heels were left out in the lounge or in the bedroom I was sleeping in. I never took clothes or shoes out of closets. That is too creepy. If the shoes were out already they are fair game. My cousin was the same size as me and she always had some cool shoes, and she did not mind if I played around with her shoes. It started as a game and became a lifestyle. We were at a dinner party where everyone dressed up a bit because it was a 50th birthday of an uncle in the family. One of the cousins' girlfriends had a pair of black strappy platforms on. She left them in the lounge while everyone left to go to bed. I made sure I tried them out too. I don't do that anymore, I can afford to buy my own fab heels, but the love for heels has to start somewhere........................

  13. Hi Sparky088, I'd practice with different heel types, getting in and out of the car, to not look funny when you decide to get out. The pedals are a different issue all together. Try driving in quiet conditions first. You do not want to screw up and be pulled over by the cops. The answers to those questions will not come too easy. LOL Good luck, post some pics (everybody) Extreme driving is the most fun I have ever had in heels. Cheers LegzG:clap:

  14. I finally have some pictures that are the right size, to post on the site. I just did a trip into Swaziland (850km round trip). I wore my 5" patent black stilettos. I also took the platforms along for the hell of it. I am so used to driving in heels now that all the technical issues of turning your foot and bending the knee etc. comes naturally now. Please share some of your pictures if you can! Happy driving:wave:

  15. I attached some of the pictures from my favourite heels for "extreme driving". These pic's are all action pic's. I took them while I was driving. Happy Driving!!!:) (my pictures are too large) I will edit and resubmit.

  16. I drove a little Toyota Yaris in Durban last week. The pedals are so close together. It was a challenge to get the heels to co-operate with what I wanted to do. It was still a great thrill. I had on a pair of 6.5 stilleto sandals with a metalic heel. On Sunday I drove back form the airport in my own car. I picked the heels in my avatar. They always do the trick so nicely. :)

  17. Hi (heel) outing friends, The Sisters for Blisters walk at Monte Casino in Fourways is usually in November. No heels under 4" and no wedges allowed. We walked last year in red stilletos. People do not care about a man in heels, it is just a fun day out in support of POWA (people opposed to women and child abuse). Men in heels send a clear message. Lets meet for a stroll around Fourways!!!

  18. Good on you bru!! It is so cool to see someone else driving and getting around in heels. Did you do the Wimpy Womansday thing. (where the men get free coffee if they wear heels) We went out for coffee to Wimpy on Monday and it was a blast. I enjoyed the outing so much. I can not wait for the next one. Mooi so!!!!
