  1. Hi All, I drive in heels very often. 5.5" pumps or platforms, bring it on. My vehicle is a manual transmission, so there is lots of clutch action. Never had any problems. Friction marks on the heels can be a bit of an issue, but I have some preferred driving shoes now, that only gets used for driving. you don't want to spoil your expencive shoes. My favourite pair is black 5.5" pumps from Pleaser.

  2. My wife bought a pair of sandles from one of our local shoe chain stores with a medium platform and crisscross straps that was incorrectly marked as size 8, but turned out to be to large for her. I liked them so much that I offered to replace them with the correct size that she feels comfortable with. Now we have another similar pair we can wear together. Whether you are the same size or not it helps if your partner enjoys the same pleasures with you.

  3. Hi all,

I read most of the interesting posts every day. I have been following the thread in the ladies section of the ladies writing about their boyfriends and husbands wearing their shoes.

    http://www.hhplace.org/girls/21350-does_your_husband_wear_your_shoes-new-post.html

I find this facinating as my wife enjoy the high heels together. Although my size 12"s will never fit into her size 8 shoes, I have similar shoes to some of the pairs she owns. It is quite a thrill to wear the same pair kind of shoe to see how long I can make it in 5" heels.

Are any of you doing the same thing?

  4. I frequently drive in 5.5" to 6" heels. My favourite remain a classic pump. I have done the 7" to 8" platform heels from time to time. I just don't like the way the heels get scuffed and scratched. One sometime pay a fair amount of money for the heels you love. I have a few pairs only used for driving so that I can still enjoy it. cheers LegzG:smile:

  5. Hi Glosha, Driving in Heels is one of my great pleasures. It is something to get used to over time. I drive stick shift so there is the clutch issue as well. It become second nature after a while. Remember many of our lady friends do this every day. the foot shudder on the pedal will happend in the beginning. There are many little nerves and blood vessels in your feet that have to adjust to the heels too. Excitement about the thought and feeling of wearing and driving in heels is a huge mental factor. Wear the shoes around the house so your feet get used to them before taking them out on the road driving in traffic. I have a simmilar pair without the ancle strap that I wear in while driving very often. Angle your seat so that there is good blood circulation and sit in the car for a wile and step on the pedals and simulate how you will angle your feel to feel comfortable while driving. It is supposed to be fun!! I hope my few word encourage you and help a little. Happy driving LegzG

  6. I have been wearing heels around the house since the early 90's. When my wife and I got married I told her straight out about the heels. At first it was a bit of a shocker, but she got into it after a while. I made sure not to push her into acceptance too soon. She eventually started encouraging me to wear the heels for her. She commented how long they made my legs look, and we had honest conversations about the high heels and our relationship. The steriotype would suggest that men in heels are all gay. This is most defnitely not the case for me. It is more about the desire to wear nice shoes, and how they make you feel on a non sexual level. I think the heels have shown a different side of me that would never have been noticed if I had to sneak around to wear my heels.

  7. I find this whole debate quite interesting.I doubt if someone would walk up to any man in the 16th - 18th century and call him a sissy or silly. You would be dead before sundown. It is good that people are starting to talk about it. I am sure Amanda Snake did not mean any harm with her opinion about Men in High Heels. She started a conversation and it is more important to solve issues this way. The line between masculine and feminine fashoin is becomming very thin. Lets see how this all turns out. Keep talking people. This is great!!!

  8. I Started on a 4" because I didn't have any other styles available. I was housesitting a family friends townhouse. The lady of the house had great taste in shoes. My shoesize was the same. Being a bit bored a evening I tried on a pair of white 4" pumps. They were so comfortable, I ended up spending lots of time with them. There were different colours in the same style, this was the eighties, it was fashionable to have the whole rainbow of colour in shoes, belts and various items, to colour code your look. I found the 4" to work well for a while and then started on higher heights up to 6.5". Once you have the technique the rest follows naturally. I bought my own pairs since then, and I have enjoyed wearing heels for 21 years now. My collection has grown as did my interest in how different heel heights feel in various styles. Cheers LegzG

  9. Rock on legs77777!!!! I am so thrilled to know that many other guys know the thrill of driving in heels. I even take my heels on my business trips. Otherwise I miss out. I just found my little KIA Piccanto rental in Cape Town to be very tricky as the pedels are very small and close together, and it was a manual transmission. Clutch, clutch, clutch....... The strappy sandals seem to work better with crampy spaces. Cheers LegzG

  10. Some sexy pic's there Bernheels!! Good one! All your pic's are so cool. I do very much the same thing. My wife sometimes stands waiting for me to see which heels I am in when I pull into the yard. She gets a kick out of "busting" me. I generally drive better in the heels, as you take extra care, like Alsheels and Sleekheels said, less like a racing driver. I put a clean towel on the floor to protect the heels from scuffing, and I keep the shoes in their own little bag to keep them in good condition. I enjoy reading these kind of posts. Check out my "driving in 5" heels" post on the "guy" side. Cheers LegzG

  11. Hi, It was so good to see an clear open post. I identified with your feelings. In many cases we struggle to vocalise our inner feelings. Your take on the situation is sober and true. I hope you have many years of happy heeling. Cheers LegzG

  12. I love wearing heels while driving. My favourite is the classic 5.5" black pumps. I have no problems driving in platforms either. My wife thinks it is cool that a guy can handle a manual transmission vehicle in high heels. I take long business trips by car and I probably have more hour behind the wheel in my heels than many of our lady friends.I own I brand new Chevvy Cruze and I get a huge kick out of the driving well heeled...lolRock on!CheersLegzG
