Does the perfect footwear excist? I dont know, but the "hunt" for them is more than exciting to go on for years after years of hunting. Since my young days, I always liked boots, high heeled boots on a woman made me go crazy, more or less. I always wanted to be able to use these boots myself, but big feet does not help out any on the hunt for the perfect boots. How perfect can size 44/45 be when 35/36 is the perfect size in my fantacy? These days I got a lot further than in my young days, and I have now several heeled boots that can be used on the street, also for men...is my opinion. New on the list is a style used before with 4" block heels, now new made with 5" slimmer heels, but still thick enough to remove the most feminine look. How I will manage 5" heels outdoors I dont really know. I will give it a try shortly.. :-)

I think I have ordered about 10 pairs as a toal, only once they send the wrong shoes.

onyourtoes...I`m the one that made a mistake, and you let me know about it. Dont blame yourself for that. Now I have learned and I will do it more correctly next time :-)

If someone reports that listing, eBay will pull it because you can't add eBay or PayPal fees to the final price like that. They should be included in your starting price.

Great change, I wish I knew a cobbler that could do those things. I got lots of boots that would be made perfect with some small modification. But I would not know where to turn to.

There are some benefits to be living in the 3. world. (Philippines)

There are many good craftsmen everywhere that can fix anything as long as it is made the old way.

But stay clear of any hightech...that will only give you a headache if it go wrong..:-)

Jwhite, My 4" boots is definitive very nice boots for everyday walking. I would like to change out the heels to slimmer heels on them aswell, and I will most likely do that shortly. I like the thinner heels a lot better than block heels, but for outdoor use, a block heels make the walk a lot more comfortable. My last updated boots, is for me so close to perfect I beleave I can have a pair of boots. I need to reduce my feet size if they, in my point of view, shall look any better. My 6" boots has still not been outsiden, the leatherette is sold on Ebay, and now I have the leatherboots out on Ebay aswell. I need to let people know I exist, so selling on Ebay is a good way of doing that. I have several other boots I will have made in the future, but my business has just started so I want to have a slow start and not rush it to much in the beginning. I need to find the limitations of the manufacture. We have had several meetings lately. They are conservative asians, but they make very good on footwear. Strong and durable and make the footwear to last for a decade... I have made some different footwear allready for other customers and I regulary get questions about making different footwear and orders are ongoing. The trainers need some adjustments to have a better fit. These ones are made as a test only, I get back with more info later..:-) A shame leather is so darn expensive! And in combination with still high asian currency`s, the leather footwear will be very expensive. Good thing leatherette is a good option aswell..:-)

I finelly had the heels changed out on my kneeheight boots with 6" heels.

They used to have a more massive block heel, now they have a slimmer more stylish heel.

I`m very happy with the resoult..:-)

If you watch a crapy movie at the cinema, and you see some very sexy shoes. Do you buy the movie on a dvd later just to make a good study of the footwear? If you watch a movie at home and spot some sexy shoes, do rewind right away to do a study, or do you wait until the movie is over and then rewind? If you watch a tv program at home together with friends and spot the most sexy shoes on the screen when you are in a middle of a conversation...do you make a stop in the conversation or do you manage to go on so noone notice you get "lost"...

I have done som 3D modelling to find the weight of these shoes, and in size about 44 EU, 8 mm stainless steel sole and inclusive the heel, the weight is about 1,5 kg. They will be about 2 kg each with the metal straps etc. By using aluminium the weight is about 0,5 kg the way they are on the model... Just shipment costs for stainless will be very high....

I guess metal shoes is not really designed for any walking...? I`m just wondering if I could have something like this made here at the Philippines. Labour work is not very expensive...so if I could borrow some lasts from the shoemanufacture I`m using, I dont really see it as a problem to have anyone shape some thick sheet metal to fit the last. Do they have to be stainless steel?

For outdoor walking around, 4" is my favorite. For indoors 5"-6" is my favorite height. I voted 4"

But to a price you could get a good car..at least a car..:-)

I would say that the thinner the heel, the more weight you have to put on the ball of your foot when you walk.

High heels make my legs look even longer...my legs are allready to long.

I dont like the attention I can get and that high heels dont have a stabilizing system to make them easier to use in rough areas...:-)

I liked that style heels...look good on boots for men..:-)
