  1. Yesterday was just the day of all days. Started with loads of problems at work so it got cinda late before i got off and as luck would have it half way home the car broke down . And even more lucky me i forgot my handbag at work with my cell in it :pulsingheart: so couldn't call anyone for help.

So i had to walk the remaining 4 km's home in my 13cm pumps, ( se picture ) on a road with a little snow on it and it was -3 c. outside so much pain in my feets where expected but when i got i home i had no pain in my feets only my finger hurt a little but that was from freezing. The shoes where extremely comfortable to walk in and because of the metal heel and worn down sole it was no problem at all walking those 4 km's home.

So when the weather gets a little better i think i might just try and walk home the entire way from work one day. Thinks its prob gona be a friday so i have the weekend to rest my feets if needed. And i will try it in the same shoes and the full walk is 8,1km not sure how much that is in miles but if you want you can prob http://google.com it. So this is really a bad situation with a good outcome:D Although i didn't like the low temperature cause its was really cold.

If the full walk turns out good i might start walking alot to and from work in my heels cause i really enjoy walking in heel's.

Any one else have the same desire for walking long distances i heel's?

    Love Leigh.

  2. We've had some attrocious weather in the UK over the past 3-4 days.

----- far more snow than we're used to and so bad in some areas that people have been unable to get home from work & are having to cancel their xmas travel plans.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1238128/Big-freeze-threat-family-Christmas-As-death-toll-hits-16-millions-warned-stay-roads-jeopardising-festive-gatherings.html

Despite this chaos, I am still seeing many women out-and-about in stilettos during the day. On Monday, I saw one woman struggling up a steep snow-covered path in her best office-wear 4" pencil heeled courts!

Saw a couple of girls yesterday walking around in stiletto heeled boots as if they were at a disco rather than in a snowstorm.

It seems a bit mad if you ask me - surely most women would welcome an opportunity like this to leave their impractical & uncomfortable footwear at home.

But it's somehow a wonderful thing to see: Their refusal to put practicalities (and risk of injury!) ahead of fashion.

So, a question to the stilettos-in-snow ladies: Why do you do it?

A question to the guys: Have you noticed this phenomena yourselves & would you risk it?

The answer to this is just as good as Why shouldn't we? Im not gona let a litlle snow stop me from wearing the shoes that i like and the only flats i own is my running shoes and they arent comfortable for more than a hour or two. So basicly the answer is just: Because we want to

  3. Leigh Hi, hope your feet pain is going away, just a thought are your feet getting wider at the big toe joint areas?,maybe the shoes are pressing your feet together in the width this happens with me and i get some pain, chat soon.

Not any more than usual but i fond that using a moisture creme just before going to bed helps alot so guess il keep doing just that for a while and se how it turns out

  4. I can understand what you meen, are the shoes leather? non leather shoes agravate the feet, Do you have any feet problems ie bunions or corns etc,im just trying to work things out for you as i have had so many feet and shoe related problems.

They are bot leather and Suede allthough the suede ones dont tend to hurt as much as the leather ones. And isent 24/7 in heels = Bunions wich mean yes:P

  5. Hi and thx for answers. I have been wearing pointed shoes for years also and my feets are also shaped. This is something that just recently started. I have been wearing Pointed shoes for whole days without any problems so thats why i dont understand it.

  6. After i have been wearing my pointed heels for about 2 to 3 hours with a normal amount of walking and sitting it starts to feel like the shoes is to small but they fit perfect. And there's nothing wrong with my feet's either. Anyone else got the same problem? cause at the end of a day i can really hurt. Im not getting the problem with the 2 pair of rounded toe pumps i have. Or can any one help me with this. Just to let you know i have been wearing heels 24/7 for years and all my heels are 4inch non platform stilletos and above. Thx.

  7. Im have to say that fassion can be good but mostly i dont like it. People are in my opinion putting to much into it, these days you find many girls wearing the same style of clothing, so just like i was discuing with Simcity3 on another forum he said " Look at 1 girl and basicly you have seen em all " he did say that its wasent completely like this but almost. This brings me to the part of fassion i do not like and it is that many people gets to look alot like each others because they try to wear whatever the fassion say so. I really liked the time when fassion was only for the rich people and both men and womens clothing wasent as similar to each other as it is today, so basicly i wish had a button that said "Back to the 80,s" even tho i was first born in 1987 but from what ive heard that was the days. What,s your opinion on this topic. Would love for both men and womens to reply on this. Thx in advance. Leigh.

  8. Well i have a pair of Rosa stilletos and i like them... mostly i wear them with pants and they don't look long at all. if you like shoes that pointy you should buy a pair but if you don't like them you should not buy a pair because you wont ever get to like them. and yes they do give some porblems with stairs etc. but i like my shoes so i have learned to deal with it. Love Leigh.

  9. Well i can understand that there are so many guy's in here. take a walk down the street and what you see is 90% of all females wearing flats. thats fasion these day's sad to say. there are really few of us out there that wear heels unless it's for work or party. Love Leigh

  10. Hi girls i was wondering if any of you ever tried to wear a corset. i would like to try it but it would be nice to know wich kind to buy. I think it could be great with a nice pair of heels. So what i would like to know is: How do it feal to wear it. Whats good and bad with wearing them. And what type do you wear. Some pictures could be great. Thx Leigh.
