  1. When I worked in an office, I was almost always in blazer, blouse, skirt, stockings, heels combinations. Sometimes tailored business suits, skirts always at knee length or higher. I just hate pantyhose and would wear thigh highs or stockings. I wore heels from 4" to 6", rarely 6" but every once in a while. Peggy

  2. I always wear heels, so I would wear them to an interview. Like others I would dig out a pair of lower heels (4") and wear something professional with them. It amazes me the number of articles I have read about flip flops in the work place and worn during interviews. I know I am older but use some common sense. Wear something a bit professional for the interview. Peggy

  3. Sabrina, I don't think I like open toe boots but those aren't traditional in the back either. They look like a lot of fun and I imagine you will get a lot of looks. Hold your head high and wear them with grace and confidence. Let us know how it goes. Peggy

  4. I experienced much the same thing about 10 years ago as my son entered high school and played baseball. Only the mothers that I knew from his summer select teams would talk to me but as the season went on, more and more women would find out I wasn't that much different than they were. I just dressed differently, I wore skirts when they wore jeans or shorts, I wore nice blouses when they wore t-shirts. Some of them were jealous. Others were indimated by some of the hardcore baseball moms and dressed to fit in. I found it amazing that once their boys started to excel, they felt less pressure to fit in and showed it in their dress. Luckily for me, I never felt that pressure. My son was talented and showed it early. He played in college and spend 2 years in the minor leagues before giving it up. Talk about heartbreak, the day he told us it was over, we all cried. My suggestion to you is to hold your head high, cheer on your son (he's the reason your there) and attitudes will change. Good Luck, Peggy

  5. My answers: 1. Why do you wear high heels? At first to make me taller because i am so short, then the higher i went the more confident i became and the sexier i felt 2. Where do you wear them to? Work, shopping, clubbing, parties, at home, in the bedroom, on the bed 3. How do they make you feel? I can't imagine not wearing them. I feel attractive, sexy, confident and happy. 4. How many pairs of heels do you own? over 100 pairs over 5" tall and about 20 pairs of boots and another 20 pairs of platforms 5. What is the most amount you have spent on a pair? almost $4,000 6. How many pairs to you buy a year? it varies but usually 20 to 40 depending on sales and new styles 7. What is you favourite height of heel? 5" followed closely by 6" 8. Do you mainly buy heels to follow the latest trend, they are really sexy and high or (name any other reason)? High then sexy then maybe trend Hope my answers aren't too late. Peggy

  6. I wear them for me and for him, but mainly for me. Yes he does have a huge tall heel fetish which keeps me in new heels and dressing to show them off. I would still wear them and dress this way if i was single. I am totally addicted to it and my closet proves it. I am so glad he makes good money or we wouldn't be able to spend as much money on clothing and heels. Peggy

  7. I have at least 20 pairs of platforms, unlike Roz I haven't out grown my addiction to super high stripper platforms. All of mine have at least 2" platforms up to 4". I wear the 6" plats with jeans sometimes while running errands, but usually i am wearing to parties or a night out dancing. I have some clear, white, red, black, pink and one pair of screaming yellow plats. <smiles> Have fun and be proud wearing them. I see more and more women doing it. Peggy

  8. EXCELLENT REPLY. I couldn't agree more. If you are not in a loving relationship and have not willing given that power to your mate, then this idea is not for you. If you have, this can be a lot of fun. Its not for everyone but for those of us that it is, woo hoo. Peggy

  9. I have 8" platforms and 6" heels that I have worn in public. I have a pair of 7" ballet boots that i have been unable to walk in but hubby still loves me to wear them. I have never seen 12" platforms, they must be hard to walk in. Peggy

  10. I agree with Roz, Sue and Amanda. Office enviroment and what your wearing with them make all the difference. You have to judge. Just don't be afraid to take a chance. Whenever I look in the mirror and think "I am not sure if this is appropriate for work" then it usually isn't. Have fun, Peggy
