Which is why it's always nice to have extra pair of shoes in your car. I have pumps, boots, my running shoes all in the back of the trunk. You never know when you might need them .

I wear a size 8 US. Awhile back, I thought I had the biggest feet in the world until I started talking to more women. Turns out that a size 8 is pretty common so I feel good about it. Although there are times when I wish I had a more petite size.

In my opinion, those straps are meant to be looked at. So a skirt of any type will definitely show those off. I personally love to wear those with pencil skirts because it's just sexy that way. I unfortuantely could never wear those kind of heels to work because it violates the dress code. I got in trouble one time for wearing a super strappy high heel sandal because they were "inappropriate" to wear in a professional environement. But to go out, I would love to wear those with a strapless dress.

I would definitely hold on to something. WHen it happened to me, I had the wall to hold my balance. We were on the floor when that happened. But I have a feeling he gets turned on by the heel part. I wear stilletos for the most part and he just loves it.

I'll wear boots year round. There's no issues with season for me when it comes to shoes. Whatever is comfortable and looks fabulous, I'll wear.

How do you feel about getting your feet wet, wearing high heels at the same time? It's probably kind of weird for me to say this, but I kind of enjoy it.

I generally order my shoes from "Forplay" and there are never any stickers on the shoes. They come clean in the boxes ready to wear. No tags, stickers, of any kind.

I can wear 6" comfortably without platforms. Also the same feet size as Ninanoora.

Woohoo, you girls have a lot!!!! Make me feel bad since I only have 12 pairs. I'll buy more to catch up......my girlfriends always taking me shopping and buying things. I never get into the spirit of buying shoes with them because I'm more into the higher heels while they're always buying sandals, flats, or something cute. I prefer the high stilletos that you can typically find in only a few stores or online.

Like some people would say, "great pain, comes great pleasure". If you're the kinky type that is. I have to say I'm one of them. The highest heel I'm trying to master are those 7 inchers. Definitely not there yet, but I feel very comfortable in 5.5" and comfortable in 6" too, but can't run too much in them.

How do you feel about performing that task with him? It's not uncommon so it's not surprising that he feels that way. I have to admit, I've done it before *embarrased*. It was one of those moments when my BF and I were messing around and I started to walk on him. Again, fooing around. He withstood my weight without a problem at all. The most important thing was that I don't dig my heel part too hard into him. Most of the weight was transferred to the forefoot. Ha, he said afterwars, "Thanks for the massage", lol.

Like everyone, I also keep my shoes in the original box they came in. It helps to keep them dust free too. I store the boxes in my walk in closet. Fortuntaely for me, I don't have a whole lot of shoes. I have about 12 pairs. Trust me, that's nothing compared to what my other girlfriends have.

Does anyone know the name of the concierto that Natalie Portman's character is trying to play from that movie? You can hear it when she's riding the bus in two different occasions. Wonderful piece of music.

Do you guys think they're sexy or not? I never wore them before, but I usually wear pumps to work anyways so it's not like people can see them unless if I take off my heels.

I'm not sure if it has helped my career, but I'm just one of only two women in the office. Mainly dominated by male workforce. I do get quite a few guys take a quick glimpse at me because of my heel height. It feels good to be noticed though and that just makes me more confident. So look on guys!!! I love it.

5-6" daily wear. Slingbacks, pumps, ankle boots sometime depending on the weather. Can't wear high heel sandals to work due though which is too bad.

I agree with some of the replies in here that moving around helps instead of staying in one spot. It gets the blood flowing and allow the feet to shift around.

We don't have casual Fridays every Friday, but when we do, I give me feet a break by wearing these new ballerina flats I got. It's cute with the flower designs. I don't wear them too often since I'm usually in heels all the time, but I might as well take advantage of casual Friday.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. There are a lot of different topics in here and some are very interesting. I had no idea that men make up the majority. When I first popped in, I thought it was mainly a woman's club. I have a strange fetish for shoes though. I love high heels and I'm not talking about the 3-4" heel height. I'm more into the 5-6" heels, but recently, trying to get into 7". I typically wear 5.5" pumps to work. Can't wear sandals so I keep the 6" mules and straps at home. So this forum is great for that since we all have an interest for really high heels. Just out of curiosity, how many women members are on here compared to the guys?

This fascinates me, out there are women who positively turn their noses up at heels, yet there are also women out there that love heels and are not satisfied with the norm! 4" or so , 5" i am presuming for most women is probably the highest they will go , if its not too personal a question , what is it that drives you too want too wear 7" heels , believe me i'm all for it the higher the better , but i find it interesting too say the least

I guess I have a thing for shoes. The higher the heel, the sexier I feel. That's just me though. I would never wear 7" outside of the house because it's so hard to walk in. But I do get excited and turned on when wearing it and tend to stay indoors (if you know what I mean). That's why I wear 5-6" heels to work everyday. I feel like I get a lot of attention and I know guys are checking me out on a daily basis, but we're all professional at work so everything's good. I like compliments and the attention primarily. But the 7" heels just makes me feel that much sexier. I'll probably have to wear 6" a lot more just so I can train my feel to wear the 7" more steadily. I can walk in it to some degree, but just need more training. My arches will get there eventually.

When a girl walks in with high heels, it catches people's attention regardless if you're a guy or girl checking them out. Just the clicking sound will have people looking at what you're wearing because the fact is, sexy women wear high heels and guys like checking us out because of that. Besides, most guys are leg person anyways so it's natural for them to check out women wearing high heels becaues it helps shape the calves.

Yes, it's without platforms. I don't like platforms too much because it doesn't "feel" like you're getting the full height of the heel. Very decieiving. But yeah, I don't know how I can walk in 6" either. I know that I can walk in anything around 5" perfectly all the time. I even feel comfortable to the point of running in them too if I have to. 6" wasn't too bad, but 7" is something I haven't got use to yet and I've been trying to wear them every so often to hopefully train my feet and legs to it.

From time to time I will see a gal wearing a pair of cute sandals that I would like to get for my wife - or myself. Many times I have wanted to ask the woman where she got her shoes but have been to "shy" to ask. Is asking a stranger where she got her shoes something that would be out of line ?? Or too personal ?? I would like to hear from the gals out there what you think...
