  1. That's the reason why you won't see me wear my sneakers often is because of that gap in the middle of my feet. I use to be able to wear them until I began wearing high heels on a regular basis and at times, wearing them to bed too. The main reason was to help shape my feet more, plus, I love the feeling of wearing heels period. Over time, wearing normal sneakers began to hurt each time I would take a step. That's when I knew my arch had stretched beyond the point of having "permanently" high-heel feet. Even now, I've got a pair of 6" ankle high oxfords on. Sort of like sneakers, but with heels . Quite comfortable.

  2. I was discussing this with someone last night who has also found herself to be stuck wearing heels.

I'm interested to know from others who are also stuck:

    • Do you often you talk to your friends about it?
    • Do you enjoy being stuck in heels?
    • What do you miss most of all and would love to do if you weren't stuck in them?

    Hey Ami, added you.

Now back to the reply.....I don't really talk to my friends about it. They know I love high heels and would always see me in them. They wear heels themselves too. The only time we would really talk about heels is when we go out shopping.

Do I enjoy being stuck in heels? Wearing high heels has its perks. The downfall is when you take them off, your feet hurt a little. I guess thats why I wear them for so long. They're sexy and I love how my feet arches while walking in them.

If I weren't stuck in them, I would love to be more active. Perhaps take up tennis. As I've mentioned above, when I go flat footed for awhile, it will start to bother me. I never felt like this a year ago. Now, I'm just "stuck".

  3. You mean shoe sizes? I typically wear size 8 US with a little bigger as the heel gets higher. Since I typically just wear 6" for the most part, size 8 is perfect. Every once in awhile, I would let my feet breathe by taking off the heels for a moment. Then it goes back on. At my office, I would try not to take them off but I find myself dangling half the time, lol.

  4. Hmmm, I've never experienced any pain in my calves. But yeah, your feet arches normally after consistenly wearing high heels. I love it. It's cute and just plain sexy. I love it how the toes arch just slightly too, but not too inwards. Then it gets pretty gross.

  5. Oh god, yes. Not 100% of the time, but I do wear high heels to bed. It just completes me because I'm so use to the feeling of something snug against my feet. Under the sheets, it keeps my feet warm

  6. You just have to wear them for awhile, try to be consistent when wearing heels. I wear them every day and all day long. I even wear my heels to sleep, lol. THey don't pinch my feet so I can go 24 hours in heels. That's how I can even wear them to bed and won't notice a thing----unless they slip off somehow . But I wear straps for that, hehe. I just love it. Eventually, you'll grow into them. My arch doesn't handle flats as well anymore. They will begin to ache after awhile and the remedy is to either raise my feet in the air or just wear heels.

  7. I don't purposely run in my heels. When I'm in a rush, you'll catch me running in my heels. Especially at work. I wear high heels pretty much all day and sometimes, all through the night. But lately, I'm considering ballet shoes to wear when I sleep too. In the meantime, the 7" keep me busy around the house. Oh boy, are they hard to walk in. I can probably take about 12 steps before I have to hold on to something. It's an improvement though!!! Before, it was much less. As for jogging for leisure exercise, I never wear heels. I have regular shoes for that but I can't wear them long because my feet will start to hurt. I have to go back to wearing heels again. In my avatar for example: that's me bowling. I have my heels with me in a bag so after I finish the game, I put them back on when we're outside. Too bad the manager there wouldn't let me wear my stilettos, lol.

  8. Thank you. I grew up in the 80's, but those disco shoes look or maybe they're called "go-go boots" are so cute. I can't find any boots like that in 6". I don't like platforms though because I want the full feeling of the "high" heel. The platform gives the shoe an illusion that it's super high, but once you wear it, it doesn't have the same feeling. That's how I feel about it though since I've worn some platforms in the past. In fact, my very first pair of platforms were the stripper shoes 5" heels. It has a slight platform to it, about an inch I say? I didn't like it. I still have them and it's awfully worn despite of that .

  9. OMG, my Net is slow right now. I can't seem to walk even a block without stumbling once or twice in some way in 7" heels. It's primarily that reason. I love wearing them, but walking in them at a steady pace, for a long distance is a little difficult right now. I'm walking in them a lot better inside the house, but I don't walk fast in them either. I mean real slow, lol. Can you imagine me wearing 7" heels at the mall? There's a huge difference in 6" and 7" heels. I can walk comfortably in 6" so I wear that on a consistent basis and every once in awhile, 5.5". I never go lower though. I remember starting out wearing heels in 4". Lowest high heel I have ever worn. After all these years, I can't imagine the feel of lower heels than that since my arch has fully developed for higher heels.

  10. Hi Esther. It's nice to see another member getting permanently heeled. I'm stuck on 6" myself but will occasionaly wear 5.5" to work simply because I can run in them if I have to. Very comfortable, but 6" is just comfortable and sexy all at the same time---just not able to run in them as well as I am wearing 6". 7" heels, I just wear around the house for fun sometimes.

  11. ........and now, onwards to 7". 6" is within reach of most people and congrats. Anything higher than that is just not comfortable, but mainly appealing to most because of it's sexy appeal. I only have one pair of 7" heels, but you'll never see me wear it outside the house.

  12. Hey Alicia, I like what you wrote. Yeah, I've worn 6" boots before while driving and it's a bit tricky. My mind is always on my feet, lol when I'm driving. WHat I do is kind of like what bikers do when they ride. Heel-toe-heel-toe, that pattern. But if you have a great arch, you won't have a problem too much. 6" on the other hand, I have to keep monitoring it because I don't want to get involved into an accident. That would suck. But around 5-5.5", I love it. I can rest the tip of my feel while my forefoot does the rest. Or what you can do is stretch your foot more towards the front and tilt your feet on an angle so the front touches the pedals.

  13. Well to me, high heels is a fashion statement for the most part. It's part of a woman's identity. You may get people stating that heels hurt their feet but they are designed to fit a certain profile of a typical female body structure. Small feet, light weight women are the general characteristics of a typical female. For those type, wearing heels shouldn't be too much of a problem "Heavier" women tend to find wearing heels not so enticing because of their weight and the narrowness of the shoe. It throws them off balance or will just get painful after awhile. I have another reason to wearing high heels. I love the feel and I love the sexiness of it. When I wear them, it feels so right. I can get deeper into it but I feel shy towards revealing my full emotions when wearing heels to the public  .

  14. I try to post more in the girls part of the forum because of that reason. But there doesn't appear to be a lot of replies which is a downer  . It's not active enough in there, then everywhere else on here. But at times, I'm still getting use to the idea that there are this many men that actually wear high heels.
