  1. More details on that first pair please, they look great (as do your new patent sandals in the new shoes topic).

Thanks, I got them from New Look, reduced in price. I was going to post a link but they've sold out now and aren't on the website anymore.

  2. Fioni Night Lolita sandals finally arrived from Payless.com. I wore them around the apartment for a couple hours, doing some cleaning and whatnot, to get a feel for them. These are going to take some time to get used to as it's been years since I've been in anything like this. I can tell these are going to be pretty gnarly on my outer toes until they soften up a bit. It'll be nice once it warms up and I can shed my ankle tan!

    Nice style and colour.

  3. I'm still seeking the strappy patent sandals in my avatar and have been doing so many years now. Recently I went ahead and purchased a pair of heels I really liked because I didn't want to not buy them and regret it once they've gone out of stock. I've spent countless nights on the computer looking for heels I've seen and wanted and all too often I'm never able to get them again.

  4. hey i've seen minxed before. what exactly is it?

    From the Minx Nails website:

Minx is a solid film with an adhesive back that is heat activated. The heat gives Minx the conformability to fit over the compound curves of nails and seals it onto the nail bed. Minx is brewed in North County, San Diego, California. The patent pending proprietary material Minx is made of can be easily removed with heat by either the manicurist or the client.

  5. The truth is, Confused, you don't need an excuse. No one will actually ask you for one. The need for an excuse is inside our own heads. I used to go into shoe shops and buy shoes that I liked for my wife. At first I always had a rehearsed excuse, but then I got used to to idea (well, I did it quite a lot over the years). Besides YOU are the customer.. and the customer is always right. Or so they say :-)

    Spot on poity_uk.

    It's all about confidence.

Be confident when making your purchase and nobody will bat an eyelid.

At the end of the day, if you want a pair of heels or boots bad enough, you'll purchase them no matter what.
