Here's another photo I managed to capture yesterday while shopping...

Yesterday I was shopping in a grocery store and my to my delight a nice woman was wearing overknee stiletto boots. I did a snapshot with my phone camera. The photo doesn't do the boots justice.

I actually spent half of the time in the store close to the woman just admiring her boots from a delicate distance and thus forgot what I needed to buy myself

Thanks for posting those pics ... my wife and I are thinking of planning a trip to Italy, mainly to do some shoe shopping ( and the food, wine and scenary too of course! ) ... where was that small town that you visited? It looks like it has some interesting shops, and maybe we could take a trip to the same place!

The small town I visited is called Viareggio. It is in Tuscany county, Massa region - just south of Milan.

But I have heard that big cities - like Rome - have much better choices and variety of nice heels...

Nope, not this time. They were all designer shoes and thus too expensive for me.

A week ago I was in an Italian smalltown. I had the chance to take photos of some shoeshops... I share them with you here... But unfortunately I saw very seldom any interesting footwear in the streets - the Italian women tend to be also comfy and wear flats...

The last time I was in Russia, I was surprised how attractive the women were. Most were wearing skirts or skirt suits with high heels. Bit of a come down when I got back to the UK and found most of our women in jeans and trainers.

That's the drawbacks of the good life! In rich communities (compare UK and Russia) there's no need for women to look attractive they get husbands and a secure anyway. In Russia and other Slavian countries women need to look good so men notice them and get a husband - my theory

Actually it also depends on the nature of the nation - eastern and southern women are more passionate and outward. They want to look sexy and feel to be desired - they almost feel obliged to look good. On the contrary modern Western-Europe and North-American women tend to be very comfy - wear loafers and jeans and look unsexy - almost unisex.

Yes, Paul, she was crazy about the boots and dress. Now she eagerly waits for an opportunity to wear them - go to a club.

I got some good news too. I just bought my wife new pair of boots (actually a matching skirt too). They have a medium height (3-4 inch) thin bamboo heel and stretch synthetic leather. Here they are:

She has a very narrow leg and calf - so many women tried to put these on, but in vain

... they didn't say if he was wearing heels or not!

This forum has given all of us some encouragement to wear heeled shoes in the street - in public or out-of-sight places. To me the major problem is the choice of footwear for my size - EUR 44 (US 13 I think). For that size the manufacturers produce only fetish footwear, which is OK for bed-games and home-heeling. But I would like to wear some nice stylish 3-4 inch block heels outside. I used to go to shoeshops in my city whenever I could to check out the new models. But since they only fit my wife and she's not such a big fan - I quit because I cannot wear them anyway I have seen some desirable boots and shoes in Zappos webstore, bu they go upto size 11 And besides it is in the USA, which doesn't ship to my country (trieved several times). I hope You fellows can share my problem and we together can work out a solution here. Maybe I just start over searching all the shops
