Finally decided to get a pair of Adidas wedge sneakers. The sales guy at Nordstroms commented on how comfortable they were, but I doubt that was from experience

Here's a pic of what the wader boots look like fully extended........this is a pic of the previous owner wearing them that was shot for his for sale ad on e..y.........I don't know what made him design a garment like this but I definitely plan to improve upon it........the vinyl is nice and thick so sewing it is no problem......also, it stretches a little and makes for a nice snug fit(in some areas).........as you can see in the pic, the wearers arms are sticking through zippered holes in the sides and his head is covered by the material that extends about a foot up from the arm holes.

Wtf?   THAT is different! Skinny heel with a jackstand, construction boot with spikes.. Is the zipper on the outside too?

 

Those are so different *I* would consider wearing something like that just because they are ' odd ' in so many ways!

I keep thinking about making a pair of hoof boots that fit, but keep putting it off. Need to track down comfortable boots to base them on. I think a pair with a slight platform and stiffer sole structure would work out better. Might be able to shrink the size of the tab in the back by setting the toe area as far forward in the hoof as possible, use the whole hoof to walk on and provide support. Would want to make indoor shoes with rubber sole also
