  1. Hello, yes I wear them lots - pretty much everyday shoes. They really are holding up well and are very comfortable. I would say they are more comfortable with nylons though, as sometimes in cold weather with bare feet the inner sole can become a bit sticky under my toes which can get a bit sore. When my feet are warm there is a little bit of slippage which makes them perfectly fine.

  2. Thanks for responses and links! I always tend to post in the Ladies section by habit; I'll need to start using other sections of the forum more often!! Yes it would have been lovely to see her walk in them. My guess is she could walk in them easily since she had the confidence to go onto such a high profile programme wearing them instead of playing it safe with lower heels. She (and others) are doing a lot for the stiletto world! Thanks again.

  3. Did anyone watch the Royal wedding highlights on the BBC on Friday evening? Sophie Raworth was wearing marvellous beige stiletto court shoes with really long slender heels. They must have been at least five-and-a-half inch with no platforms - her insteps were near vertical in them!!! They used to accuse her of being slightly frumpy - those shoes have put paid to that!! Does anyone know what make they are?? I see Julie Etchingham on ITV was also wearing really high beige stilettos too, though her's were slingbacks.....

  4. Hello again,I just really noticed what a difference it makes when we walk in heels consciously. What I mean is, not letting the day to day chores etc get in the way of the wonderful experience of being in heels. For much of the day I think we almost forget we are wearing them; kindof taking the experience for granted. When I'm walking along the street I really focus my concentration on the feel of the sole of the shoes caressing the arches of my feet, the feeling of the pointy shoe around my toes, the angle that my feet are at giving that high-arch tiptoe feel, the balls of my feet and the metal tips of my stilettos making contact with the ground every step. The difference in feel to if I'm wearing nylons or going bare, where the nylons give a slight feeling of movement within my shoes against the shiny inner soles and the feeling of extra grip inside my shoes when going without. The pleasure this gives is incredible! Like wearing heels for the first time but without any pain whatsoever because my feet are so used to them.I may be waffling a bit, but is really worth feeling the pleasure!!N.

  5. Just an update:The last two or three days I have been walking absolutely miles in them -around the shops, supermarkets and down the street. Even running when necessary!! Despite salt and bits of ice and general muck on the pavements, they clean up easy and still look really classy. The soles have scrubbed in so are not too slippy. The plastic heel tips seem really hard and durable as there is no real wear on them yet. Mind you, the heels are so high that a little bit less weight bias goes onto them. The 'Schuh' emblem is wearing off a bit on the insoles as my feet do get quite hot. Now that they are broken in I can't ask for anything more comfortable. I think they are even more comfy than my four and a half inch New Look stilettos, which are fine. I've had them on for more than sixteen hours some days!!! Might even buy another pair!!

  7. I've been wearing them constantly since I bought them over a month ago, though not in the icy conditions! They are absolutely wonderful and they are incredibly easy to walk in despite the skyscraper heels and steep arches.I usually wear them with barely black nylons, and regularly have them on for about sixteen hours plus, and one day over the party season over twenty four hours!! They are unbelievably comfortable and fit me perfectly. I am wearing the largest size 41 UK8, and I'm normally a UK7.Lots of admiring glances - more than from normal four inch heels. They are excellent quality, and made in Spain. Why pay over £350 for Pigalles when you can buy these now for exactly one tenth of the price?? I'm sure they'll last just as long and the comfort almost as good. I mean if you really want top quality leather shoes then I'm sure a pair of Italian Heels can be had for under £100. I really am turned off by designer tat.Anyway, if you are even half thinking about them, BUT THEM NOW - you will not regret it!!! Just feel the sensation of slipping your nylon clad feet into them.....

  8. I received them yesterday - very quick free delivery from Schuh! What can I say? I've fallen in love!! I slipped them on yesterday morning and wore them all day. I felt incredibly sexy, confident and very powerful - these shoes are just incredible!!!!! What I notice is they are so comfortable for a brand new pair. They fit perfectly with or without nylons. The heels are "only" about five inches but they feel more like five-and-a-half or six inch, probably due to the very curved arches and the straighter heels. They feel really high, and the arches caress my feet beautifully! My everyday Newlook four-and-a-half inch stilettos feel flat by comparison! They are so easy to walk in though. They are a bit slippy too, but I'm sure once they "scrub in" on the pavement they'll be fine. I will wait until the horrible snow/ice disappears though. I can't wait to wear them to work, and can see them becoming an everyday shoe. I seriously recommend them, especially when they can be had for £50. Every girl should have a pair. And Oh! the toe-cleavage is beautiful !! :) Nina.

  9. I just HAD to order these! They've been out for about a year, my local store had my size seven UK, but with these shoes being rather a tight fit, I had to order the largest (size eight) on line.

A gentleman emailed me some time ago about them - I don't know why I've taken so long to get round to buying them.

Just look at these GORGEOUS shiny red inner soles - I just can't wait to slip my feet ever so slowly into them with my nylons on!!! Will let you know how I get on..... anyone else got a pair?

  10. Thanks for all the replies. Some good points raised. Hoverfly, you put it well that it is "just doing business" - I suppose I will get losses now and again and hopefully learn from them. Just glad it wasn't a huge amount of money.I'm going to check out the other online auction sites though - I would prefer giving my money to the smaller businesses if they're half decent.Nina.

  11. Just a reminder to all to take care if selling their shoes etc on ebay. I had just sold a pair of my shoes on their site, but the buyer was not paying up and would not answer emails. So I had to open up a non payment case. The buyer was very unhappy about this and eventually paid up. So I posted them, and soon after, this idiot opened a case against me claiming shoes never arrived and demanded a refund. Long story short, ebay made me refund them without really taking my case into consideration. It would seem the seller doesnt have much, if any rights on ebay. This member had vast amounts of dealings on ebay compared to myself, so it looks like ebay are keeping them sweet because they are making more money out of them.I had proof of postage receipt but did not send recorded delivery. So please remember to send stuff by recorded delivery.Needless to say, I will never use ebay again. For your information the member who committed this fraud is linda131263. Nina.

  12. Yes it's shear heaven slipping your feet into them isn't it!! My faves have four and a half inch heels and shiny gold insoles - though the gold is fair getting worn off now. I'm not sure about the polishing thing - my feet would slip about too much when walking down the street - could be dangerous :-)

  13. Well I have heard of a guy drinking out of a friends stiletto pump - champagne I think - and when pressed later he admitted it was the most erotic thing ever..... almost makes it worth it if it has that effect!! Maybe I would let someone do it with an old pair of pumps but not new ones, as I imagine it would be hard to clean out.

  14. Well I had to stop wearing heels for about seven weeks due to a toe injury, and forgot just how sensational it felt to slip my feet into my favourite stilettos again!! I had nylons on and the feel of the smooth, shiny golden inner soles and the feel of my toes slipping down into the pointed toeboxes of my shoes was just amazing.... even better than chocolate!! Maybe

  15. I'm fine Amanda, thanks for asking. I haven't been on here for a while now - where does time go? - but rest assured my shoes are getting lots and lots of use!! And how are you?I'm going to take a look at all the shoes by Michael Antonio. The ones on the packet look amazing, with maybe five inch heels. I need to see the whole shoe of course, but I imagine they are almond or pointy toe.Thanx.N.

  16. Hello again,Does anyone know the make of these amazing purple stilettos that the model is wearing on the Pretty Polly Italia nude tights (hose) box are?? I really want a pair!!If you know the ones I mean - I'll try and get a picture posted - no time now!!N.

  17. That's crazy that the office manager thinks they can tell you to stop dangling your shoe!! Keep doing it if that's what you do!! I think the pointy toe of your shoe should be aimed swiftly at the manager for that kind of cheek. Besides, if this guy really is getting that distracted, surely he could be moved to another part of the office? I like dangling my shoes or slipping my feet out of them from time to time, especially if my feet get hot - a lot of times, as you say, it just happens without thinking about it. Of course, it is also fun to do just a tiny little bit of teasing, isn't it? :cry1:

  18. Well it's been about four months now since I bought these heels. I wear them most of the time for many hours each day. I must say the quality and comfort of these shoes are simply excellent!! Only a few scuffs on the sole and the plastic heel tips are really hard and have plenty life left in them. It will be another few months before I need to re-heel them I think. The inner sole is showing a fair bit of wear, but I get that with most heels. I've never been one for designer labels or the cheapest of the cheap. These shoes are at the lower end of the price scale and I would have them any day over 'Choos etc.

  19. How long does a pair of high heels typically last you? I mean the shoes that you wear on a regular basis? I sometimes get two or more years out of mine, and they've usually been worn four - six days a week every week. Apart from re-heeling, it tends to be the insole and toe point that wear quickest. I always have a favourite pair - wear them out - sell them on Ebay to a foot-slave, then buy a new pair which I then wear all the time. Great isn't it?! Though I could do with varying things a bit:smile:
