Just a guy in heels who is opening his horizons. It started out with me borrowing the wifes undies every once in a while. Then a pair of shoes for the Rocky Horror Show. Just a couple weeks ago I bought me a pair of 4 in. ankle boots and started shaving. My wife is not sure about the whole thing. I've only been out with them once in public. Now I'm looking into buying a pair of womens boot cut or flare jeans (9 long) to cover the boots. Just with plain pockets.

Blusman, I think you should thank her for the good sense of humor she has. Maybe she doesn't approve, but she does know there are certain things that are your decision.

I believe that coment means "I don't aprove, but I accept who you are". I mean... great!!!

I aggree with Majo, I believe she is starting to accept you wearing heels. First, shes saying its ok for you to wear them when shes out, soon it will be ok for you to wear them when shes in.

Be open with her and let her know you enjoyed wearing heels when she was away, and see what her response is.

I have been trying for ages now to get out wearing heels in public , but each time I try, I convince myself something is not right and I chicken out.

I have been out in heels late at night, and I have no problem shopping for heels so where is the problem?

I know every one here will say just do it! but i wish it was that easy, anybody got any suggestions as to how I can get over this and get out there!

First, your in England, there seems to be alot of members from England. Try going to one of the high heel meets, where everyone else is wearing. Then branch out from there.

Certain cities seem to be a little more open to breaking the mold in mens fashion, NY, Las Vegas, London, Paris, Santa Fe, Detroit. Sorry, you can cross out Detroit. Try visiting one of these cities, or some that I have failed to mention.

That's fine that you don't have the urge to wear heels right now. When you do, you do, but, some night when your not doing anything in particluar, try on a pair and see if you get any special feeling? Take care, Guy:thumbsup:

I love the first pair the most, then it would be the last pair next. But, since they're all heels, they're all good!

My first pair was some disco shoes like J. Tavota had in " Saturday Night Fever" back around 1980. And yes, I did go disco dancing at the clubs a few times. My first pair of womens shoes is a four inch black shiny slingback, with cork looking heel. I love wearing them. Guy

Thanks for the reply, Wearing them on vacation is one of ideas I pasted on to her. Maybe on a weekend get away to Vegas, going out at night and gambling. Dressing up, having a few drinks, and a good time. We'll see, until then, I got my legs crossed.

I just started shopping for and wearing my heels out a little. I have two pair. The first, a pair of 4 inch sling backs that I got for the Rocky horror Picture show about 6 months ago. I got them with my wife. I have been sneaking around with them, ie driving, or filling the car up with gas. Only by myself. The second a pair of Vera Wang ankle boots that I shopped for and bought by myself. I bought my wife a pair also. They have a 4.5 to 5 inch heel, I now sure. I have wore these in public, first I wore them around the Kohls prior to buying them, as I looked at other shoes. I was nervous as hell. Then for a quik stop for some chips and dip at Target. Into Kohls to get a price adjustment. I wear a pair of jeans that is 2 inches longer than I usually wear w/ them. I want to wear them all the time, but my wife isn't ready for that yet. Only in the house, per her. Guy
