I was 12, when my mother allowed me to wear 2" heels for a shopping trip. In Argentina we also had school uniforms, but to wear very high heels was very common in our country. As I had ballet lessons I had no difficulties to adapt to high heels at all. My mother liked it when she saw me wearing sexy shoes and she encouraged me. Today the normal heels are 3 or 4 inches during the day, up to 6 inches when I am not working.

My experiences is that employers tend to be very conservative. Standing in heels higher than 5 inches kills my back. But standing always does. Therefore I try to move as much a possible. But I admire the girls who are able to walk long distances in 6" heels. Though I am wearing heels since many years, my feet hurt a lot, when I wear boots with 6 inch heels (though i wear them anyway). This is my free will. Do I have do be considered maso?

I am a female, 34 years old and live near St.Paul, Minnesota. Since I was 12 I m wearing schoes with high heels. I am born in Argenina and there it has been very normal way of life for women and girls to wear heels. My mother "trained" me to do so. I kept this habit and wear today 4 and 5 inch heels every day. Later in my life i got accustomed to boots.

I am not able to decide what kind of stockings I prefer. I stick to both types. But thinking about it, i am wearing seamed stockings more often, when i wear my heels to work.

I am at home today. Therefore a thighhigh boots day, black to midthigh, 5 inch stilettos, short and tight black leather miniskirt and white tank top.

Laurie is right. I match black with black. Only when I really want to look trashy I choose red stockings (fishnet) with black boots. Then you can collect looks by the dozen. I hate white. Just reminds me of hospitals. And I guess everyone else. I think that only stockings fit to highheels. I wear them always with garters. Together with short skirts it is a nice battle with the hem to stay decent.

I prefer short leather miniskirts, that leave a little bit leg shown in between. Wearing Thighhigh boots is not in fashion, therefore many people misunderstand me wearing them

I am wearing my ballet boots since two years. I had difficulties at first. They hurt like hell. But now i have grown accustumed. Walking over longer distances is still difficult
