  1. Why buy Pleaser when you can buy more quality shoes like Nine West, Jessica Simpson, even in real leather... at least for me, the thrill is to wear the "real thing", models that normal women would look for, and Pleaser is more "costume" type shoes to me. I apologize for the Pleaser fans, this is just my opinion, and I already owned a pair of Pleaser (Vanity 420). It is OK, but there are much better quality shoes out there for the same price or lower.

These brands I mentioned go up to 12 on many models and not so expensive, it is worth a look. Check Amazon, Ebay, and you will find good deals.

  2. gallux, I typically wear a size 12. While I can wear these, there is no way I would call them a "comfortable" fit. If you intended to wear them for longer periods of time and do much in the way of walking in them, and you usually need a 12, then I'd have to say no. But then my feet are wide, so maybe if you have a somewhat more narrow foot, they could work. Not sure if you own any of the shoes from Classic Pumps (like my avatar, and certainly your avatar looks similar). I have a pair of their Rossi pumps in size 12, and they are pretty tight on me as well. I would say this new pair is slightly more tight than the size 12 Rossi style from Classic Pumps. Hope that helps.

Yes, I owned one pair of Rossi in size 12, they fit perfectly for me (I do have narrow feet, thank god). I guess these would be a little bit snuggy but nothing I couldn't stand... we should expect a bit of disconfort in pumps, I think it is part of the fun :) These would be wonderful paired with a night/formal outfit... I will keep an eye for clearances!

  3. RonC, just as I mentioned above - these Pepe Jimenez pumps are of top quality... I had one pair of "Rossi" in 3" heels, and really enjoyed them. You won't find that quality any cheaper than that (and it is actually cheaper than the Italian Heels brand), I think the price is reasonable for what you get.

  4. Yep... most brands go up to size 11 only.,.. many not even above 10... And consider yourself lucky - in Brazil there are almost no brands above Women's 10... just a few "special sizes" brands that do the ugliest shoes you can imagine. So I am forced to import. Tall women and men are not a target market it seems... but it has been changing and will change more in the near future... population is getting taller and big footed. I just hope they keep women's shoes for WOMEN. Some brands make women's shoes for MEN, wider and larger than usual female design, and that takes away all the "fantasy", or the pleasure, at least for me... :) If I want shoes designed for men, I can just grab my usual boring loafers... :)

  5. Nice shoes! What size are the two black pair? Assuming that the beige pair are 11s, and you indicate them to be a bit tight, are the black and black/gold pairs size 12? If so, you are very lucky to find such nice vintage shoes in size 12, as that was a very hard size to come by in a decent pair of heels when those were new!

The 2 black pairs are size 12 indeed, very rare, and barely worn - so yes, I guess I am lucky. Also I spent a lot of time looking for them :)

The Nickels pair would be more a size 12 narrow (even though marked B width... I am surprised they fit me this well (guess I do have a female feet)... the leather is very soft and thin, so despite being tight, they are very comfortable and pleasant to wear and look at, VERY feminine. So no wonder, these are my favorite among the 3.

  6. I have to ask, was there a purge recently, or did your taste change or what. Am I missing something? Nice shoes BTW.

Yep... I did a purge about 6 months ago when I had to move out of my apartment and married... As I mentioned in another topic recently, I revealed everything to my wife, and to my surprise, she accepted (even still a bit shocked...)

Now, I will show her these pairs this afternoon... it will be the first time seeing me in heels... so let's see how it goes...

  7. You're right, I'm sorry... I still hadn't much time to take nicer pictures of them... So now, the correct indroductions: 1 - Black kid pumps from Nickels (There are suede straps in the upper area, tied with a small cord like a bootie, very cute) - 4 inch 2 - Black suede pumps from Andiamo (Very cute golden snakeskin-like details on the sides and heels) - 4 inch And just today I received another pair 3 - Nude patent pumps from Kensie Girl (This brand goes up to size 11 only, 1 size smaller to me... even though being a little snuggy, they are comfy to walk, and even more having rubber soles!) 2 inch

  8. I'm sorry for you, friend... I am a US12 and already have a lot of difficult to find nice quality pairs, so I can imagine your situation... the bigger the shoes are, the worse they look... I owned a Pleaser pair (my first pair btw), they are fine, but that's about it... "fine"... and they are somewhat wider than "real" women shoes (maybe because they want to target "another" audience too?). My feet are narrow, so they looked and felt really crappy on me. I lost interest quickly and sold them. One suggestion, if you like vintage looking pumps - www.classicpumps.com - they sell handmade shoes in leather in larger sizes, upon request. A bit expensive, but the quality is worth every penny. I owned a white patent pair of pumps (there are some pics in my gallery). If you want the real thing, go for it.

  9. Congrats bootsboy95... apart from your taste (I respect but not much my style) and going out in heels (something I do not plan on doing), I really admire when someone heads on towards their fears and uncertainties and end up with success like you did! takes some guts to face the world we live in heels!

  10. Thanks for all the words and good advices folks. In fact she is still shocked and wary whenever I am browsing the web... I guess the wait is making her anxious (I ordered a pair of pumps that are on the way), and she wants to really see me wearing heels in front of her to believe what I told her. So you are right, the best is to take baby steps and keep my heeling in second place, and her always first. And that is not a problem because it is true, now more than ever.

Here is a picture of the pair I just bought in ebay, a nude patent pump from Kensie Girl. It has a mid heel and rubber sole, so I can train a little bit and at least not be so dumb in front of her :)

    Nice going gallux.

Hope you enjoy your heeling now that your wife heard it from you.

My wife is ok with it too and yes we do have a few pairs of matching heels that we wear out together, sometimes.

    Happy Heeling,

    bluejay

Would be so fun to have matching pairs, I am looking forward to that!

Congrats Gallux, That is a major step forward and hope things go well. It gives me hope that maybe one day it may be possible for others like me to tell our wifes.

Think a lot about you and her, and if you see a window of opportunity, don't hesitate... took me 6 years and she was really pissed that I did not tell that earlier. Women like the truth, always. Lesson learned.

  11. I did it... thought I could never do, but I was in a dead end. I told my wife about my crossdressing and specially my love for female footwear. We were already in a crisis. I was very depressed these days, as I was certain that I would never ever be able to put my feet into a pair of heels again. I spent countless nights sitting here in front of my laptop, searching and doing a bit of a "voyeur" thing, looking pictures videos of high heels just so that I could feel a little bit of that thrill of before... you know that is not possible. So we were sitting in a bar, looking at each other face. I already had a few beers (why is it always like this, things just start spitting out of your mouth when you drink), and then we started talking about a gift that I am owing her since her birthday. Then we came across the shoes discussion. She already knows about my apparently normal female footwear fetish. She always thought that I loved to see her in pumps, ONLY. And on top of that, I lied to her. I confirmed that it was only that, several years ago. That was my biggest mistake in our relationship. Then, I asked her: Honey, do you think this is weird for a man to like heels... She told me: As long as you don't want to wear them... Then, I breathed and replied: What if I did that... what would you say? She then started laughing and asked that I stopped joking... but I then replied that I was definitely not joking... then the laugh turned into tears... We just walked away of the place and went home... then obviously, as soon as we stepped in, the questions... Are you gay? etc.. We had a VERY long conversation... I learned that she already read about CDing before, so contrary to my belief, she was very well informed... it is just that she never thought it would happen to the man that sleeped beside her... Then, after a while, we clarified a lot of things, and I told her everything. In the end she even made a joke and said we would even try to wear heels together in our hotter moments, you know... That was one of my greatest moments in my life. Now I can share one of my biggest passions with the one person I care most... and now even more... how lucky I am... And thanks to all the people in this forum that told me to go for it... you were right all the time... and for those still "in the closet" reading... stop and think... you might be losing time and missing a great opportunity. Not to mention that you might end up having problems in your relationship even if you do not tell your woman, because this will make you suffer, and dear people around you will suffer together. Happy heeling folks!

  12. Hi there, are there any brazilian people that knows of any group or high heels organization in Brazil, promoting real-life meetings? I only know of Brazilian Crossdressers Club, which are not welcoming new members

  13. As Steve said just above, the high heel fetish is more intense when it is something "forbidden", or something "that should not be", in our early age, since the parents are watching over you and might catch you anytime, and of course because you are in puberty, so sexual identity is being formed. As you grow old and independent, the enjoyment, amusement, fetish, starts to wear out, since it is no longer something forbidden, and become a part of your normal life, as it is for any women. This is why so few women are so attached to wearing high heels, or think of it as something thrilling. They mostly wear because it upgrades the appearance and make them feel sexy. So for a man that has the freedom to do this when he wants, it is just as entertaining as it is for any other woman. To me personally, since I don't have the freedom to wear female shoes or clothing whenever I want anymore, the fetish is becoming more intense again. So if you want to keep it as a fetish, I think you should put some thresholds or "sober" periods.

  14. The heel clicking for me is part of the "magic", either for a woman walking or myself, considering I have an isolated place to avoid the curious. Otherwise, the quieter, the better. But the rubber sole heels are not as good as a traditional hard sole (synthetic or, even better - leather). I think heels are not made to be comfortable or silent. What is the fun if they are like sneakers?

  15. hh_pe and Jorisken, I really appreciate your advices. Yes, looks like I lost the opportunity, I did not think about this in our first years, and I really should have told her at that time. I had a few opportunities I wasted and I have them fresh in my mind. No doubt that if I have a new opportunity in the future, as tough as it may be for her, I will HAVE to tell her. It gets harder to suppress this feeling each day, and I am sure it will become something unbearable soon enough. hh_pe, sorry to "borrow" your post to express my feelings. It is really good to share this with someone like me, as I don't have people close to me that knows this secret. It is terrible to face some things alone in life.

  16. hh_pe, I share your difficulties, I did a purge some months ago when I moved in with my fiancée, now wife. I visit this forum everyday, reading stories, looking at some pictures of fellow heelers (I also left a few in my gallery to remember my shoes I so sadly had to toss away...) Who knows when I will be able to put on a pair again... I can't even share this with my wife as you did... so you can imagine. I wish this situation of yours gets dealt with soon and you are able to do what you want again... it is the worst sensation in the world to not being able to to what you want...

  17. http://www.lulus.com...lats/88874.html

Im thinking about those. I LOVE ankle wrapping footware for some reason.. Thoughts?

That's a very nice flat you found, and a good price too.

I found another one I would buy instead, more my style:

Here is a link to my latest purchase. Not a huge platform fan, but at least it is hidden. Plus, I like my heels high, and these are high! The website list the heel at 5". I measured it more like 5 1/2 " In store with discounts, I paid like $40 for these.

Mr. X - very nice looking pumps, very "chic" too :)
