What's Boxing Day?

Actually, I do have a mini tripod. However, I've yet to use it for any shoe shots. So far, all the images requiring a tripod have been done on my large on. Very adjustable so it's fairly easy to use. The mini tripod I have is designed for a surface that's more stable. It just isn't very steady on a carpet. I might try and use it out on the deck in order to obtain some shots going upwards...that might create an interesting effect. Have to try that.

hehe. Pretty much. You think you got it bad...try being the one behind the lens. I gotta hold that thing steady for those shots.

This image, I thought, turned out pretty good. The sun was shinning pretty bright, but using a 4.0 fstop helped tremendously. In Photoshop, I added the little flare touch, but the original did have a small shiney spot. Anyway, enjoy everyone.

hehe. No, it was taken from our back deck. Here in Oregon it rains quite a bit. That area out there is farm land which is also located in a flood plan. Just normal flooding for htis time of year.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if anyone down there ont he road driving by saw her?

You can do that. Anyone who wants to participate could just send me their picutres that they would want to have included. I can do any modifying to the images, although I would understand completely if you wanted to crop any part of the image out before you sent it to me. As more images come in, I can easily add them into the screen saver. My question is would Firefox and rest put a link up for everyone or would I need to put it up on our site? We could just put it up on both sites too. What do you think Firefox?

She lied. She wore a green sweater today. I don't know why though as it's in the 80's here.

Actually, that one we were in wasen't all that little. It's epicenter was about 300 miles away, or something like that, from us yet was enough to literally lift cars off the ground as it rolled along. Pretty good one. The people up in the Seattle/Tacoma area were picking up the pieces for a few days afterwards.

Earthquakes must a rarity in England to have people showing up at the police station in pj's. I remember our honeymoon. Missy and I were in a parking lot filling up the car with gas. Missy was in the restroom. Right then it hit. Cars were rolling in the parking lot...swaying side to side. Our cars doors were open and both slammed shut. I was reading a map, leaniang up against a wall. The map was moving up, down, left right.....and here comes Missy. Running outta the bathroom, obviously buttoning up her pants. The look on her was face to die for. I just about died from laughing so hard.

Actually, I'm really just kidding around. You guys should be spending time alone together now. I hope everything works out for you two. Missy and I have "discovered" a deeper level of our own relationship through heels. Kind of a conduit I suppose. We've opened up even futher between one another because of that. Chris has gotten himself a classy lady and a wonderful person to be with. Cheers guys and again, congrats.

I was looking through some back images of Missy and the thought occurred to me. WHy not make a screen saver for hhplace with hhplace members? Everyone who wants to partake send a picture or post a picture of themselves in heels, boots or whatever and I could create a screen-saver for everyone. Sound like an idea worth pursuing?
