  2. Yep agreed the chinese slipper things are vile. Infact i refuse flatly to stock them. The Indian style arn't so bad. I have seen many styles that look really nice. I think the worst style of shoe above all has to be those see through plastic "jelly" things, you know the ones you can get on stalls at seaside resorts. *yick*

  3. I have found that the trend is definatly veering away from high heels in favour of flat chunky shoes and boots. Also out of the ladies who come in my shop I find that the hight of the heel seems to decrease with age. However most of the ladies who go for the extreme heels (over 4 1/2 inches) are older than say, thirty. I have also found that some of these women have been asked to buy them by their husbands, so I am not certain wether these women would wear these shoes if not for the gratification of their partners. I have been plesently suprised by the amount of ladies who do actually wear the extreme heels to the office, but I have been shocked to find that some employers have requested that they are not worn to work as it is apparently, as one employer put it, "offensive"! Has anyone else had a similar experience? Thankyou Mel

  4. Ok I do try to restrict my language, however its sometimes really satisfying to have a really good swear to yourself.I do not agree with swearing around kids and I really hate it when parents swear at their children. Thats another thing. Children swearing makes me realy sad. Thankyou Mel

  5. ok i just thought I'd tell you a brief history of the ninja. They are not actually "cool". A ninja is a disgraced Samauri hence the reason for the outfit, so noone can see them. They were basically hired killers. So that is why Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles changed to Hero turtles. Random fact for you. Mel

  6. Hey everyone! The Peach here. Thankyou all for your support and encouragement. Those 6 inchers are actually turning in to my favourite shoes! In answer to your questions: no I have not tried bally shoes yet as i am still working my way up to seven inches. Coffee mornings would be a great idea, however it may have to be a sunday or a monday morning, as saturdays are my busiest day and I am usually rushed off my feet. So if you could get back to me and I'll post when its going to be. I now have oodles of new stock in! Very exciting. Once I have done the stock take and the rest we must have a heel meet. It would probably be in a couple of weeks so again if you could get back to me with a convenient time for everyone. Anyway I look forward to hearing from you all soon. Peachy x x

  7. davina definatly has class, and those high black courts with that black outfit WOW! I'm very glad Leslie is out as she drove me nuts. And that black outfit she wore on the last night, should have been bought afew sizes larger. Saskias boobs, definatly fake

  8. I am expecting a LOT more stock with in the next couple of weeks to a month so I can give all you guys and gals an extremely large selection of shoes to try. By that point i will even have a new show room. I will be more than happy to have a get together within the next couple of months. Once my new room is sorted out and the new stock is in I will post some dates. Thankyou to every one for their support and I look forward to meeting you all in the near future. Peachy

  9. Very exciting! Just thought I'd tell everyone about my big adventure. I have never been a big heel fan as i have small feet and trouble balancing. However Heelfan has just bought me a pair of 6 inch stilletoes. Surprisingly, I managed to stand up and not fall over (except there was a fair amount of wobbling!). So after a a bit of very unelegent tottering around the house I decided to brave the streets. As soon as I stepped out of the door I was accosted by the neighbours asking how I could walk in such high shoes, to which I replied "with great difficulty so far". It was amazing how many men in passing cars were staring at my feet, one almost had an accident! I did feel extremly sexy. Anyway I managed to get all the way to the shop and back, with some degree of wobble. However my legs did resemble that of a chicken trying to walk. I think my first attempt to walk in shoes over 3 inches was a sucess, atleast I didn't fall over. Much practice is needed before I attempt to get to the pub in them I feel. I must congratulate anyone who can spend a day in those shoes. Hopefully with a little practice I will be wearing them alot more. Mel
