Isn't it annoying when they tie the shoes togther like that? How the hell are you supposed to walk in them when they're tied together? Rather reminds me of a children's game or a sack race....lol
Very annoying especially since they check them at the cashier to make sure they are both the same size anyway. And I take it that why they do it so they can keep the same size together.

The first pair is a lot more low key then I normally wear like smaller then a 3inch heel. I got them from jcpenney.com and shipping from them really takes a long time. I could have drove 30 minutes and got them but with free shipping at the time I could wait. The reason I got them was my idea was to wear them under pants for a shopping trip in the future. A few weeks later I was doing some shopping for some house shoes since that what one of my relatives was asking for. Of course this would be the day that Target put out some of their new shoes and all the ones in my size. Even though I was sure the quality probably won't be there. I end up getting some. And to balance out the ones I bought last time I got some that were pink, at least 5in, platform pumps. They are a little loose in the side and I really don't have anything to wear with them but they look cute. I know some of my more brave readers are wondering why didn't I test them out in the store. I did but Target has this bad habit of joining their shoes together with a tie inside the shoe making trying them on hard without removing it. And the final pair was after Christmas. I usually just ask for money so I can get what I want and pretend that what the person got me. I was planning on wearing the first pair of heels for this trip but chickened out. I was planning on buy some pantyhoses since I had ran my last black pair earlier that week and then some heels. After I bought the hosiery went to Rack Room Shoes and got a pair of open toed silver heels. I wanted closed toe but at that price I was happy with them.

I do also wished the story was titled by the media "male high school student" instead of "gay high school student". Because his sexual orientation had nothing to do with this issue. It was an overreaction because someone saw a male in high heels.
The American school system (and possibly the rest of the "first" world too) is a complete failure. American schools (especially in the large cities) are run by bureaucrats and unions who don't give a hoot about the students. Need proof? Look at the dropout rate, the students who do "graduate" can't read, right (I did that for affect) or do math, sad indeed. And on top of that, dysfunctional famlies who don't care/neglect their kids and expect the schools to do it all. All you teachers out there - and there are some excellent ones - no offense to you, the good ones (you know who you are) do an excellent job, they are just shoveling against the tide, very frustrating. OK, I'm done with my rant - I feel better... Take care all... sf
One of the problems with that is people with high intelligence that could improve the quality of education don't become teachers because they are paid so little. I am not 100% sure about this statement but I want to say a teacher makes less in a year then one year of college cost.

The administrator on camera didn't even have a decent answer. I doubt no heels were in that school dress code. And if it was that they missed ever girl wearing them up into this point.

The shoes you posted look good and can be worn outside the club, but I won't wear them to an interview even if I was brave enough to wear some for one. I would wear 3 inch at max, closed toe. You know the rather plain looking one our eyes sometimes pass over as boring and plain. It would say you like to wear heels without outgoing overboard. Then if you get the job you can slowly build up to those shoes.

About 20 plus women shoes and four male shoes so at least 5:1 ratio. I think I wear women shoes more but not sure. It is pretty close.

I am curious how expensive those would be.

I switched more to stores now like with in the past few weeks because I found out I can fit 11s for some strange reason. While looking at Shoe Carnival today I saw one of the foot measuring devices on the floor and was curious what it would say. And conform it shows me at an 11 as well.

Hi, I'm new here and must say I love all your shoes. I just bought these here in Holland for $40. I hope you like them
Those look great. I was looking for something similar to that today.

I keep my legs shaved and because I normally wear long pants so not an issue. I tried waxing before and loved the results but it is expensive and time consuming.

Easily more feminine due to the sheer amount of feminine things I wear even while in male mode.

Not really my style but not a bad shoe if you like platforms and live in the US! Out of curiosity, I just looked at the Payless site. The reviews of these shoes are encouraging and several were submitted by men! But, although some claimed to have bought them in a 12 or 13 (according to colour), only one 12 and no 13s are shown in the listings; perhaps they have all been sold already to our members?
A news item in the UK this week revealed that women's feet are getting progressively larger and that UK9 (and larger) shoes are now in some demand. A spokesman for Debenhams (department store) commented that they might have to start stocking fashion shoes up to UK11, and that stilettos etc required strengthening when to be worn by larger ladies (and others!).
Payless site is very odd when it comes to those shoes. When you look at certain times of the day they are gone and other times they are in stock. At least that how it was a week ago. Now it seems like they are really low in stock with a few sizes selling out. I think the one that listed as women on there probably were women. The ones with larger feet also have trouble finding sexy shoes in those sizes too. I had a friend who complained about no pretty shoes in size 12 while in high school.
Wish more companies would address that issue. If the larger sizes are selling out first and even larger ones are in demand you would think more people would stock larger quantity.

I would definitely recommend wearing stockings for shopping for heels. I usually wearing pantyhoses anyways so they take care of the issue for me.
Ok. Here's the pic, because I forgot it is on my Facebook. I wore dress socks to give it a little more "OOPMH!" or however you say it. Bad look or acceptable?
Dress socks look very acceptable with that and the shade of blue matches your shirt well. If you haven't mentioned it I would have assumed opaque tights.

Those look really cute. Really like the first pair the leopard ones.Hey All,
Here are my latest additions to my collection.

I am not really sure I noticed for a while a few of pairs felt looser while others didn't so I figure the shoes where just getting worn in. I thinking now the ones that didn't feel smaller may have ran small. And I might been an 11 for a while. So foot shrinking in general and probably brand sizing in the Komet shoe.Firstly, both pairs of shoes are stunning! I really like them.
I'm intrigued to hear you can fit into the next size down. Do you think your foot size is shrinking? Or is it just down to brand sizing?
Chris
I agreed $35 was a steal for them. Payless variety just seems to always improve. Did you find them at the first store you tried because it took me a few stores?Just bought anew pair of Pumps at Payless this is by the brand Brash.
They are advertised as having a 5 inch heel, but in my size 12 the heel is 6 inches tall. They fit great and are comfotable to wear. I was surprised to see how well they are made. At $35.00 they are a steal.
Heels for ever!

You joke about that by I can see that being a serious problem. I bought two pairs in the past two days and want to go back for more as we speak.Uh-oh...there goes your bank account...LOL

All of them look great but I especially like the long skirts with them.

I been looking Komet Platform Pump at Payless for about a week with no luck. I went to three locations and couldn't find it at all. So I tried my first purchase from payless online site. I got it yesterday and it was a beautiful shoe but I keep slipping out of my size 12. After all that to find a size 12 platform pump and they are too big. So I looked at there return policy. No exchanges online only returns to exchange you have to go to a store. I wish I read about that before hand. So I go to the one store I missed before and what do I find these shoes size 11 and they fit what luck. I made the exchange and didn't have to go though all the time with waiting for them in mail. I also tried on an 11 at target just to see something and it seems I can fit 11 now. This opened up a lot of new styles for me so I am really happy now. After this discovery yesterday, today I went to Shoe Carnival and got a pair of Madden Girls in size 11. And they fit as well.

Almost anything can be worn by women and it be acceptable in today's time. But this did make me think of this ad from a while back.
-
Just based on the names not the model. They both fit well but I favor Ellie. Ellie feels like once they are on they are without being tight. Pleaser fit but at the same time seem like to go on and off a lot easier. It is hard to describe but Ellie I can't put on or take off without using my hands. Pleaser I can slip them on easier and can remove them with just my feet.

Not sure who the shoes are by, but if you do plan on bidding just be aware the bottom of the left heel looks like it needs to be replaced.
-
Please do not take this as spam, but I did buy some awesome pairs of shoes over the past month and I need to link them!
The first 3 of photos are of Deréon. The shoe's name is Shine. The second is from Devious a Pleaser brand, and the last are Steve Maddens
Really like the Shine heels. I think that is going on my to buy in the future list.

Mostly online but retail stores occasionally just because most stores don't carry my size or if they do it only the ugliest of the ugly shoes. If more stores carried my size I would do more retail shopping.
-
Had to call the deal off... too big risk with the numbers the seller provided.
But one day I'll run my own store... the dream won't go away
That is a shame. Hope you get to live your dream one day. When you do will you always be in heels to show any other male employees that it is ok?
-
I will give them the third one stairs and heels don't go well together but not sure she should have been awarded the money. Hard to tell without know all the issues but I going to guess that hotel probably had an elevator somewhere. The other two sound like just getting hurt by not paying attention.

Anything under 6" seems to feel fine . I can do 6 but only for a few minutes on my feet.
High School Student Can't Wear High Heels
in For the guys

It is good how he is trying to bring high heel wearing to the public eye, but also sounds like he goes to some extremes for attention too.
Was a thread about the story in the past here if you want to see some more opinions.
