You have gave me a great idea on how to get some slacks fitted for some of my higher heels that I would love to wear out and not wear jeans. There is one store I can think of close that would fit the pants for me. Truthfully, I know myself and I will say "I lost a bet" and hope to get a nice fitting with some black slacks this week. I have been having over the last few years, pains on the bottom of my feet. Mainly between the heel of the foot and the toes. (in the arch area). One day, last week, I was able to wear heels all day without having to take them off. Basically getting up and putting a pair on and wearing them till late at night before taking them off. When I did, I noticed I didn't have the pain in my feet like I normally did. I also found that the next day my feet felt better. Slowly as the days went by my feet started to hurt again. So, I set up a day of heels only and found my feet once again felt good. Has anyone else had this experience or might know of the problem that the heels seem to fix? Maybe I was ment to be in heels

All my life I have always heard that "History repeats itself"... Hopefully we are starting the trend again or I should say "opening the door again" for men to wear high heels as a normal part of their outfit.

This is a stroy I came up with that I would enjoy have happening to me. Maybe one day I will show it to my wife. It's called: "Payback" Watching my wife get all dressed up for my company party is always fun. She complains that she can’t find the right outfit, switching them many times as I take my time putting on my black slacks, black shirt, and black shoes. Yes it is an easy decision compared to her. Finally she has picked out the dress and is almost ready to walk out the door. But, she needs help picking the shoes out. (She should know me, high heels are a must). “Which shoes should I wear honey?” she says holding up a pair of 2 inch pumps and 3 inch wedge heels. I tell her that both will not work since she is wearing a skirt above the knee, she needs a taller heel. I go in the closet and bring out one of the favorite pair of heels she owns, a 4 inch black patent stiletto heel. Since she has such a small foot, the heel is very high for her and brings her lips closer to mine without bending over. She complains that her feet will hurt and that she knows I will have her standing all the time at the party. I assure her that we will find a seat and I can look at her heels rather than have her stand in them. She agrees and off to the party we go. Once there, I find out that we are later than I would have liked. All the tables are full and most everyone is standing now. My wife try’s to not fuss and stands with me the rest of the night, walking from person to person with me. I enjoy watching her walk, and not hearing anything out of her, I think nothing of it. As the hours go by the party dies down and we leave. Once in the car she tells me how her feet are killing her. “You don’t understand what it is like standing in heels for hours. It’s no cake walk”. Jokingly I say, “Well then next time we go somewhere where I can wear heels, I will, and see how bad it is.” She knows of my enjoyment of wearing heels and has put up with some of my 2 and 3 inch heel chunky heel boots when we go shopping. She laughs and says, “Oh that will be the day, not like it is coming anytime soon.” A month passes with the normal life going by and I receive a call from my wife at work, “Honey, guess what I just won? I was the tenth caller and won a trip to Vegas! Completely free next month!” she says. I am happy and we have been wanting to go since we watch Texas Holdem all the time on cable. The day of the trip comes and I am wrapping up things at work. I will swing by and pick up my wife and we are on the way to Vegas. “Did you pack everything honey?” I ask. “Oh yes, I got everything we will need.” She says. Once we land we get our suite and enjoy the look over the strip. It is getting late but that’s when Vegas starts having fun so I slip out of my business suit and dress shoes and take a quick shower. My wife joins me as a wonderful surprise. She has a evil grin and kisses me as she says lets go see the lights. I dress and go to our “shoe bag” and notice I don’t see any shoes or socks for me. “Honey, where are my shoes, didn’t you pack them?” I ask. “Oh yes dear, they are in the new bag I brought. I couldn’t fit all our shoes in them this time. Being here for the week and all.” She says. I walk to the spare bed and open the case. There lays three pairs of shoes. However they are no ordinary men’s shoes. One pair are 5 inch patent leather stilettos with locking ankle straps, the next is a pair of heels are 5 inch also but knee high black boots, and the last are a pair of brown blade heel boot with a 4 inch heel. “What are these?” I say. She points out that she was so miserable at my company party that she didn’t forget what I said. She has planned that the whole week I will wear heels. “We are in Vegas, who will care here if they see a guy in heels; Drag Queens walk the strip all the time.” She points out. She knows I would never have the nerve at home but here, why not. “If you try to whimp out on me, we will use the locking ankle straps for the rest of the trip, agreed?” she says with a smile. I agree and slip on the brown boots that match my shirt. As we walk out the door she tells me that it will be a long night and she is so glad she has on her running shoes…….. The night is young, and the heels are high…

Thanks for all the post. She sort of giggles from time to time when I am getting the nerve up to go out with her in heels. She notices right away because of my height change. I am one that trys to not "show off" the heels too much. So far she has been pretty supportive letting me do as I want and not complaining any. I would enjoy over time her having input on the heels but we will see.

I am hoping that over time she will get more interested in my shoes. pointing out when I need a longer pant or different color shoe with what I have on. I just ordered these boots.

Can't wait till I get them in. I know a 2 and 3/4 heel is not too tall but it is the shortest heels I will have. I don't have a black boot that I can go out in easily.

Out of the 5 pair of heels I have now, 3 of the pair can be worn without a glance from anyone. Very chunky heel, or cowboy boot look. I have not got the nerve up to go out in a thin heel with her yet.

I do hope someone will have a camera and take some pictures for the poor souls like myself that will not be able to make it. I am sure it will be a wonderful time!!!!!

Well I have had the honor of seeing another male in heels. In fact he was very sure of himself and didn't hide them at all. His blue jeans were normal length so you could see his black 3 1/2 pump easily. He walked with confidence. Now he was 6'3 and around 245#, looking like a true football player but walked wonderfully in the heels. I actually got up from my table (eating at the mall) walked to the edge of the rail to get a better look. I watched him walk by and at the last moment he glanced over. I smiled and gave him a "thumbs up". He smiled and nodded back at me. I think it is great to see guys out in heels and confident enough to wear them without any worries.

I was wondering how others here "weathered" when telling their wifes of their interest with heels. Up to today I would just hide the heels, wear them when going out alone or at home alone. Today, I was talking with my wife about shoes and how times are changes, much with all things and the world opening up more. We were heading out to shop so I slipped back to the bedroom, put on a pair of my thick high heel boots and went out shopping with her. I didn't say anything all day while we shopped. I would look at the reflection in the windows of the shops from time to time to make sure the heel wasn't "sticking out". I had a great time. Once home, I just decided to ask her, her thoughts on men in heels. She stated, "if they like them, so be it, I don't mind either way". Surprised with her answer I showed her my heels. She then said, "I knew you were wearing a heel, I just didn't know how high. You aren't that tall normally." She smiled, kissed me and went on with her business. I am very excited that she is "ok" with my heels, Now I wonder how much I can wear them with her. I joked with her about when we go out and she is in heels, I could wear them too, to remind me that her feet get tired quickly.. LOL.. I hope others have had as good luck as I have or better.

For me, Pumps and "shoes" in general are harder to pass off as male foot wear. Since I don't flash my heels in public, I tend to try to blend in and not be noticed and still have my enjoyment of wearing heels. The boots do that for me. Not showing any skin above the toes, looking more like a normal shoe a male would wear. Now I do have a pair of 5" black patent leather pumps that I love but tend to keep them indoors. Plus, I have always loved the look of a nice high heel boot over a pump any day.

I am 6' maybe 6'1" barefoot.

I have told one Real Time couple I know that I love heels. "She" knows and has also helped me pick out some for myself from time to time. "He" is ok with it and basically says, "Whatever floats your boat". Both are very open minded and I have worn heels over a few times. They are a great support for me as much as this forum.

I am in the same boat as you. My wife knows of my interest with heels but doesn't want to be any part of it. So I have to be descete also. I would enjoy meeting up sometime and going to Electric boutique. I have never gone but hear they have Larger sizes there. I wear a 13.

I agree that this forum is helping men like me come to be more comfortable with my wants and needs when it comes to heels. I have worn my heels out more since finding the forum, guessing over 10X more each week. lol. My only worry when out "freestyling" is seeing someone from my work, or that I know that would spread rumors. In the south, rumors spread really fast and I can't run that fast in my heels. lol I do hope over time with the designers and culture that the outlook on men wearing heels will change just as so many other things in fashion have changed.

SWEET. Ft. Worth! thats wonderful. Do you go out in heels in Ft. Worth? I have only gone a few times to the store or small shops. Would love to find a place to go and "hang out" with others and "freestyle". Thanks for the post.

Hello everyone, I live here in Dallas Texas as you can guess from the member name. LOL. Being down here and loving heels can be a challenge at times. I have always had a love for heels, on a woman it is one of the most beautiful things I enjoy seeing each day. When I was in college a girlfriend of mine introduced me to heels. She loved to see me walking in heels. I was too nervous to walk outside during the day. Now and then she would talk me into driving to the park and walk with her to a "private" part of the park for some fun. Since then I have always found a enjoyment wearing heels. Heels have come and gone with my "thoughts" of it being ok or not. Since finding this forum I have found that there are more men out there that love heels! I only have four pair of heels at this time, which I will try to take pictures of soon. Two of the pair I can walk around every day in with longer pants and no one would know, (high heeled cowboy boots "perfect for Texas, and high heeled combat boots), the other are black boots with pointed heels so they stick out more when I go out. I have been out in all the pairs. Usually when I know I will not see anyone I know. I hope to meet others hear and learn more about "freestyling". With a size 13 womans shoe it is hard to find a lot of heels. I also hope to meet others here in the DFW area that enjoy heels and have Real Time meetings with them.
