  1. I wear a mens 12 in almost all mens shoes but have found that if ordering off the Nine West website, I can order a size 12 and it fits great. It seems their sizes run a little large. I have just got these in and wearing them now.. FABULOUS!! I have another pair of 4.5" black leather oxfords I picked up first that are my favorite. Nine West has become my dream company for heels. 4-4.5 inch heels on most things. I would love a little higher at times but at least these fit!

  2. That's how I got into heels. GF suggested me wearing heels if I wanted her to wear high heels. I said, "you buy, I will wear".... Soon I found that I enjoyed wearing them as much as seeing her in them. That was years ago. The relationship didn't last but met another wonderful woman that I made my wife. My wife knows I love seeing her in heels and has no problems with me wearing heels as long as the are "stealthy" she doesn't like the flamboyant heel look. So Nine West seems to be my heels of choice. Good luck. And I am also located in Texas. Noticed your name

  3. I love high heels but am always looking for chunky block heels that are high and can pass the "easiest" as a males shoe. Living in Dallas Texas the acceptance of heels on a male are not very high. So I have to go more stealth. I only have two pair of heels right now both being Lower Eastside boots. Both are the same exact style just one brown and one black. The biggest issue I have is wearing a US 11.5-12 really cuts my shopping down to a min. I would love to hear from anyone that has high heels (4in and up) that look more masculine and where they might have gotten them. If I can find some new heels my street heeling can increase. :winkiss:

  4. I was shopping payless as I always do and noticed a pair of shoes called "Investor Menswear Pump" and what happened next? I bought them. LOL

"The Investor exudes the popular menswear styling worn by fashionistas from LA to NY this season. It laces like an oxford and has wingtip styling and a 3.5" heel. Padded insole. Manmade materials."

I can't wait till they come in.!!!

  5. Austin, Love the area. I travel there for work time to time. Will have to give you a shout when I am heading that way. I usually do most my heel shopping when away from home. That way I don't walk up to someone I know in heels. LOL. Easier for me to have strangers look at me weird that have someone I know walk up and ask me why I am trying on heels in a mall...

  6. Welcome to Texas. I have meet a few people here that are from Texas. Would be great to know another. I have been wanting to start a local "club" for heel wear'ers. have to see how it goes. Give a shout and we can get to know each other. The fetish ball is this weekend in Dallas.

  7. I was wondering how many prefer a french pedicure over doing nothing or painted nails? As for the Men, how many have had french pedicures? I have been thinking about it for a while. Especially since summer is coming, I wouldn't mind walking in some of my nice high heel sandals and having nice toe nails. I have hear a lot of bad stories about getting pedicure's so I would also love any advice anyone would have.. Thanks!;)

  8. I have had a pair do the same thing. But mine were Steel heel and Very Sharp pointed heel, maybe a 1/8" inch at the most. So with my weight on it, the heel went into the wood making a good dimple. Were your heels the same? Metal with no rubber protector will murder a wood floor.

  9. For me, in the beginning it was a total fetish, sexual thing. I loved the feel of the heels, the look of the heels and it would sexually arouse me. But over the years it has come to the simple enjoyment of the heels. I have always and will always love the look of heels. Now I enjoy finding a pair that I can wear out, and not just in the bedroom. The feel of the heels makes my feet feel so much better after being "flat footed" for hours. And there is nothing like gaining a few more inches in height when you are 6' tall. ;)

  10. Being born and raised in the Southern states of the USA, I believe the reason it is easier for men to wear heels overseas is simple. "We" in the USA are more close minded than overseas. If you look at history, it seems we are always slower to come around on change. Aka, the gay movement and so on. Just my two cents.

  11. I have to travel from time to time and with all the different security issues I have gave up on wearing anything that has any metal. I just pack everything and go through security as "naked" as I can. Then when I get to my hotel I can relax and slip on a pair of heels to go out to dinner in.

  12. I find after a stressful day of work, slipping on a set of heels and relaxing is the best thing for me. I can relax away the pains and issues with work while enjoying something I can't have during the day at work. Yes I long for the time were men can wear heels without any issues from others.

  13. Seems the post for meeting sort of died. I live in Irving Tx and was hoping that some of the others here in DFW would like to get together for a "munch" one day a month or something to chat about heels. I am also looking to meet people to go out "freestyling" in heels and enjoy alterative events with. Anyone been to the "Rose room"?

  14. Congrads!! It took me a while to walk in public with heels that are not a thick wedge and very long pants. Now I still wear long pants but I am not worried about the fact that the heel will show when I walk up steps or get out of the car. I still get a little nervous when I hear that "clack" that heels make and someone will look to see where they come from. I am getting more bold each day and hope you will too..:spin2:

  15. I wonder if this is what I might have. I am not always on my feet all day but sometimes I am for many hours. When my feet will be killing me I will put on a pair of heels with at least a 3 and 1/2 heel and with in a hour my feet do not bother me anymore. I am thinking of going to the Doctor and also telling him what I do to help my pain. I am sure it will not shock him. Maybe it is like sugar pills.lol. Since I enjoy heels so much it make me "mentally" feel better. Just joking....

  16. I agree about crowds. I try to pick heels that have a thick soft heel but of course I have my love of the high heel and the only way you get a good one is if it makes that "noise" we can all pick out. I went to the mall one day early before all the shops opened, the older people would go walk early, I thought it would be a great place to strut my 4 and 1/2 heel boots. Oh my, did it ever seem SO LOUD. I was nervous because everyone else was in tennis shoes so the only noise was of my heels. I ended up sneaking out a side door and walking the outside of the mall. Decided the next time I would go when it was packed. I have gone to the Angelika Film Center here in Dallas. In fact.lol. I went to see "Kinky Boots" (great movie) in a pair of my high heels and no one even blinked. I don't mind late nights at the 7/11 because they don't care....

  17. The only thing I wonder about is when the heel is in the low setting. Walking on hard concrete will wear on it then if you pop up the full heel, will it look weird? I would think you could see the transition point then and the heel would not look good anymore.
