I also experiment with colors, but always make fingernails and toenails match. If i wear black or red, my nails will be red or black, usually for the evening outings it happens, but during the day, if i wear pastel colours, when it's really hot for instance, then i also match my toenailcolors usually pinkish or even yellow or light-purple.

I like it too when people ask me about my outfit or shoes, it means they noticed me and that means usually they like it. So i always feel very pleased and happy when someone asks, but it happens not enough.

I agree with countrycuti, standing on heels is very hard, it's best if you can move a bit and switch the wheight, carpet floors lessen the uncomfort a bit indeed

Yes i notice also a lot of girls and woman wearing very high heels, especially the younger women and the richer older women...

I like the blade heels a lot as well, they are better to walk outside with on cobblestones and bad sidewalks... i have some pairs that are even 5inch high.

I have mixed feelings. I think men look a bit vulnerable when they are on heels and not look so dominant anymore. On the other hand i think it's also good that they wear heels when they like it and i think i could still be friends with a man wearing high heels. I think maybe i just need to get used to the idea before i could date a man in heels. But i'm open minded enough to deal with that

I prefer spike stilettos, but sometimes when i see nice rather elegant still chunky heels i'll buy and wear them to go shopping or walking long distances on bad sidewalks.

I kinda like the Dune shoes, there are some very nice shoes there i like the 'assent' 'amog', 'anchor' and i like the 'casper' the most.

I was in Paris for the long weekend. Of course showing off my heels in the fashion capitol of the world. We also went to the opera on saturday and i was amazed to see so many girls on very high stiletto heels. European girls usually wore very high slingbacks or pumps, with heels up to 5,5 inch, a very fashionable and probably rich french girl with tan colored lace up slingbacks with a wooden 5 inch declining stiletto heels. I loved those shoes. The asian girls all wore slides and sandals. Me i was wearing my 5 inch black zanotti sandals and didn't stand out. Most asian girls there were wearing at least 4 inch heels. The french girl next to me wore shiny 4,5 inch i think stiletto pumps, but i thought her outfit didn't match the shoes. (or vice versa, but the shoes were nice) and behind me was a girl in 3,5 inch slides. So the Paris Opera (Garnier) a great place for heel sightings. PS the ballet was very nice, i looked very carefully how the dancers stood on point. I'll need to start practicing my ballet heels as well. I have had them for some weeks, but didn't have the nerve to start training to wear them. (allthough they feel more comfortable than 5 inch heels when you're sitting or laying down)

Laurie, my night out on my 5,5 inch heels was a huge success. When i was sitting down outside on the market square, i saw a lot of men looking at my feet, and i gave them a show of course. When i had to go to the bathroom i walked slowly right passed them making sure they had a good view on them. They gave a lot of sexy looks and admiring looks ) i loved that. The women looked more in amazement and a bit jealousy. Later when we went dancing, some guys complemented me on my outfit, and some even mentioned my heels. I was so happy to please and to be sexy. I'll definately do it again!!!

The weather looks nice again and it's going to be warm so a summer outfit today: 5 inch clear lucite slides with a 1cm platform, a white and red wavy skirt and a white kookaï tanktop.

I like wearing platform shoes as well. But only sandals, and only when the platform is not too big. I think 2 cm is enough. I especially like the clear lucide platforms. I have mules and sandals like that, and they are lovely i think for in summer to walk at the seaside or to have a drink in town in the afternoon after shopping. I also have one pair of black platform strappy sandals which i think look very sexy. the platform is only 2cm big, and the heel is 16cm. So it's very sexy. And since i'm a petite girl i can use the height And i also have one pair of platforms i almost never wear, and only use maybe for some dress up parties. it's 20cm heels with a 6,5cm platform, the shoes are shiny silver straps and a metal spike heel.

No Invito closed, but there are still many nice shoeplaces in Gent, there is one very nice shop in Volderstraat, side street of Veldstraat with lots of very sexy shoes. Thanks for the Steve Madden tip, I ordered the marny shoes.

Damn it laurie, tonight i want to beat your record i'll go out on 5,5 inch heels. first a nice drink on the market enjoying the evening sun, then dinner, and then a night of dancing, yippeeee it's a long weekend

I'm sure they will still have a similar kind Laurie. They are amazingly comfortable. I paid 100 euros for them in the sales. So the price was not so bad. And they look stylish and glamourous to go to fancy company dinners and so on.

I also have a lot of Jante. But for fancy places i usually wear christian louboutin, sergio rossi or prada, expensive shoes, but oooh so expensive. I also often buy shoes in a store here called ken, invito and rikiki, they sell cheaper but also very sexy shoes, very suitable to go out on a wild night when you have to walk a lot.

Black trousers, tight above the knee, getting a bit wider at the bottom around the ankle, a light red/purple top, and a dark red scarf/sweater that is tied around my shoulders and chest. (don't know how to describe it exactly but it's cool and fashionable ) 4-3/4 inch black slingbacks.

I would never cut of a toe to fit in a shoe. I like to wear sandals and mules too much. I really can't see why you can't solve a shoe fitting problem any other way, you can always buy half size too big and stuff a bit. for me fortunately i can easily even fit in any superpointed pump. I have very narrow feet, so i guess i'm blessed. But still very simply, don't wear the shoe if the shoe doesn't fit.

I really loved the shoes Brittney was waering. Lucy Liu always wears high heels i think, at least i never saw her with flat shoes, and of course kylie minogue, in a french fashion magazine she said that she always wears heels because she's frustrated that she's so short, she's apparently not much taller than 150cm. (so is Lucy Liu) Other women on high heels are Ivanka Trump, Helena Christensen.
