Any ides for getting off those particularly sticky labels which always disintegreate when you try to peel them? It's just more frustrating to have bits of label left on the shoe. Ian G

Such a shame there is no email address for the editor. I guess he would be bombarded by coments from members of this forum. Ian G

Hi all, I have a pair of ankle boots which are not very worn, unfortunately the zip is now broken. The man in Timpsons recons it woould cost about £4 an inch to repair and for the cost of the boots its probably not worth it. Anyone have any ideas about "fix it yourself". Is it that difficult? What sort of zip would I need to use? Many thanks, Ian G

Hi, It's a long and complicated story but I need to plan out the weekends for the first half of 2011. Are there any proposed dates for a world heel meet in the UK next year? I have unfortunately missed those for 2009 and 2010 due to calendar clashes but would dearly like to make the next in 2011. Regards, Ian G.

Like the Hannah Buckle Clogs from Avenue. Has anyone seen anything like this in the UK, in a wider fitting?

I seem to recall that there was a recent suggestion that he may also be the face on the Turin shroud. Possibly from an early and forgotten form of photography. Good old Leo! Ian

Could you mean the "Old Vic" in St Pauls Rd. http://www.carling.com/beerfinder/venue_details/14496/portsmouth/The%20Old%20Vic
I believe it has a very open attitude to it's customers.

Thats one of the many differences between English and American English (?). Just like tyre and tire! We could start a whole new forum on this one. Regards, Ian

Good for you. Fortunately those boots, by Evans, often occur on ebay so with a bit of luck you may be ableto find another pair. Ian
