  1. I really like both looks. I think knee high boots (both heeled and flat) look great on a guy.  I played a 4 hour gig last night wearing a pair of black suede lace up knee highs with stiletto heels.

In the "edgy look" I think the bag (backpack) is a bit of a distraction especially hung on your arm.  Have you tried carrying it from your shoulder or using a black bag (to match your great boots)?

For the "daily look", do you have a bag that matched the boots? (Again, great boots.)

The bag is in the pic seems not to be a perfect fit - but worn on the shoulder it is a perfect match. This bag is my absolute statement piece. It is a Givenchy Pandora. This bag is by far item I get most positive comments for (@ Thighbootguy: like with my guitars I think less is more ;-)  one serious thing is mostly better than a dozen of crappy items).

I also have a Givenchy Nightingale in black with golden trim - I will post some pics later these days.

  2. Yes, I feel feminine - but only if it helps to answer the questions regarding why I use make-up, shop from the women´s department, wear heels, prefer feminine perfumes ...

My point of view ist that gender is more of a spectrum than a definite thing. So for me it is not about being 100% male or 100% or having to be trans, if I use style elements from the female side of the shop. For me adding heels to an outfit makes me feel strong. Using make-up makes me feel sophisticated. Wearing edgy clothes makes me feel outstanding. This is nothing related to male or female.

And by the end:we are no longer living in the age of muscle power. Since the first machine age made muscle power nearly obsolete in most parts of our life, I think that the gender discussion is not longer really needed.

Nice. I MUST know what brand those boots are. They're fantastic

The brand is GREY MER - it is an italian luxury brand.  They offer amazing quality at a more realistic price point compared to brands like Saint Laurent or Jimmy Choo.

@ freestyle75: compared to the Bally boots from my first posting, these are more the kind of drive & shopping boots and not walking boots, as the sidewalks here in berlin are not very plain and easy to walk

  4. Name: ANDROgenius

    Age: feeling like 27 - being 43

    Gender: Male

    Location: Germany, Berlin

    Occupation: C-Level

    Height: 174 cm

Weight: 5 kg less is the goal

Shoe size: 41 if I am lucky - 42 fits mostly

What's your favourite heel style: block, western & stiletto

What's your favourite shoe style: knee length & thigh length boots over pants; booties for everyday wear

Do you wear heels outside: yes! mostly in public - heels are only one styling component - somedays i am in the mood, other days not

What is your favourite heel height: 8 - 10 cm

What is your highest heel height: 12 cm

How often do you wear: 2-3 times a week, when going out or going shopping

Do you wear socks, hose stockings or bare feet with your shoes: never wear boots with bare feet

Anything else you wish to add: Sometimes I dress to impress. If it is an important business meeting it is a fancy suit with matching shoes, belt & bag - matching with a great watch. That´s business. On the other side there is my private life: here I am a fashion freestyler. Classy style, decent make up & (as many girls/women tell me) always with an androgynous touch. If people can not decide if I am male or female, than I have accomplished my mission - being ANDROgenius
