  1. Also, just wanted to echo this question: What would you think if you saw a girl struggling to walk in heels (if she isn't doing TOO badly)? I've not fallen or anything yet, but I take really short steps and walk quite slowly, and there is a bit of unsteadiness. I try not to bend my knees and all that. But I think it's quite obvious that I'm new to it. Would you think, "Why is she wearing them out when she can't even walk well in them?", or would you accept it as a natural part of training?

To me, you'd be all the more attractive. Mainly because of the visual aspect. To me a heel is only high enough if it affects the ladies walking. I know from friends they feel this way too.

And I appreciate a lady how is making an effort to look great, and you'd look like you're making an effort.

So please, just keep on walking

  2. That too bad, really. All I can say is that these shoes have been laying in the closet for several years now. My cautious stimulation has brought her level up from flats to 4,5" comfortably. But it's taken a lot of time. Somehow, my wife flicked a switch some time ago and decided she liked the attention. Mind you, in 4,5" heels, she's as tall is I am: 1,93 meters. Even over here in Holland, she sticks out. But she seems to enjoy that.

  3. Thanks all for your kind answers. I'm sure she'll get the hang of it. She hasn't been wearing heels much lately as we've spent a lot of the summer camping. The first time she put on the 4'5" heels, she had some trouble as well. The major take-away from this is her attitude towards the shoes. Somehow, I don't have to be ultra-cautious on the subject. She literally said we finally seem to agree on this... :)

  4. Hi All,

As I mentioned here and here, my wife was about to wear here gorgeous 5 inch stiletto pumps out for the first time. Well, yesterday she did!

At least, she tried to... :) She put them on as we were to go out for a nice dinner. As it was quite warm yesterday, she had some trouble getting them on her feet. After she sat on the couch for a while, we were to leave. As soon as she got up, she was in trouble. She seemed unable to handle the height and the narrow heels.

She was tiptoeing with her back arched and her bottom sticking out. She teetered through the living room with tiny, uncertain steps, her knees a little bent, trying to find a way to walk in her wonderful shoes. But unfortunately, by the time she'd reached our front door, a distance of about 15 meters, she'd had two severe wobbles and needed to steady herself with a hand to the wall while standing.

Her feet were cramping and although she was frustrated with it, she couldn't go out with these shoes. We were both quite disappointed, but she had to slip into here 4,5" pumps with a slightly broader heel or she would never have made it to the restaurant.

Again, I'm really surprised that the half inch increase makes such a difference.

The good thing about is that she's now determined to master these shoes. She said she needs to break them in as the leather is quite stiff. So she promised to start wearing them in the house both to break them in and to practice. Again, her attitude towards heels has changed positively.

She did wear them in the bedroom last night...

  5. As I'm not allowed to post in the girl's forum, but would like to react to this thread, I thought I'd post my reaction here. When my wife and I met, she was a strictly flat-shoed girl. This was rather strange as her mother (she told us recently) had a real thing for tall spiked heels in het younger years. Anyway, I'd already developed my passion for heels and slowly my wife warmed to the idea. Same thing with lingerie by the way. She totally didn't see the point, but now she's absolutely thrilled with every new piece. At the moment my wife wears heels regularly. It very much depends on her mood. But, to answer the question: I don't ask her to wear heels everyday, although I do sometimes hint if she's been wearing uninteresting shoes for a longer period. My lady is now on the verge of wearing 5" stiletto pumps out for the first time and I'll ask her to do so as soon as we go out for a nice dinner again. On these occasions I always ask her to wear heels. WobbleFan

  6. oh absolutely love oxford style shoes. but if not worn with trousers as you mention they can make legs look a kind of chunky.

That's it exactly. She wore a dress just above the knee and indeed the shoes made her legs look chunky.

  7. Hi All,

Last week, my wife an I had some time at home without the kids. She ended up wearing the Pleaser Domina 460 oxfords I bought for her some time ago. I was totally amazed how easy it was for her to walk in them. She said they were somehow not as difficult as the very nice pumps I mentioned here, as she prefers to be on her toes completely instead of how her feet are positioned in the 5" pumps. What an amazing woman I married!

Anyway, the thing is, it was actually a bit disappointing. The shoes don't work for her. O yeah, they make here legs look incredibly long, but somehow, the shape of her calves isn't enhanced by these shoes. In the 5" pumps her legs look amazing.

But, all in all, another step forward, although it's a short one in 6" heels
