I really love platforms. I am now branching out from platforms, but as a fairly new heel wearer they allow me to go into the higher heights with a little more ease. It also doesn't hurt that they are really on trend right now.

I went with one of my female friends to get a pedicure on saturday! she's just had a baby so i treated her to it she got a dark blue colour nail polish and i got a very sexy glittery red! all the ladies in there couldn't stop staring! the lady who was doing my pedi was asking me were i was going that night and if i have pretty shoes to go with my newly pretty toes! to which i replied "of course i do!" This was my first ever pedi, but certainly not my last! there's a lifetime's worth of pedi's to make up for! hehe

There's nothing quite like treating yourself to a nice pedicure before a night out. I just got mine done, and I'm quite addicted to a very glittery pink by OPI called Teenage Dream.

Definitely an attention getter. I love the little cheeky satin bow in the back. I have my eye on an identical pair in a gray colour (the eyes and teeth in the gray ones glow in the dark!)

I seem to have no rhyme or reason with which I purchase shoes. It's more of a "OH GIMMIE" feeling I get when I see them. However, I tend to look for style before height, it it's my style + height? Awesome.

Lovely, and I've heard all over the net that Bordello (and I can definitely see), are a direct copy.

Unfortunately, they are a little out of my budget for the moment.

As for the platform? Yeah, they're pretty high, but for me, I find platformed shoes much easier to walk in, when compared to shoes without platforms. Comfortable? Well, I wouldn't compare them to a comfy pair of sneakers, but definitely not painful .

Cracks in sidewalks mostly. Our city has quite poor walkways, and I have to dodge all the cracks on my way to work.
