  1. No vote here as I'm not happy about the choices.

I admit I would shy away from the bright or glossy pinks as they shout out far too much.

I love pink heels and I like glossy and bright pink but, to each their own... On that note though I do not like gold or yellow heels too much so I can understand where you are coming from.

Anyway heres my favorite pink ;D

  2. Just got these wedge sandals from Spring Shoes.

The heel is 3½" with a ¼" platform.

They were so comfortable that I wore them out of the store.

Still wearing them now and I think I will keep them while going to bed

(I normally don't wear heels to bed but this time will be an exception...)

    Happy heeling all !

Oh they look comfortable alright. Just be careful going to sleep with them on. Your feet change shapes and sizes when you sleep and wearing heels while sleeping can cause serious damage to your feet over time, but. You seem by your post not to do that often... Just a friendly FYI.

  3. Yes, sounds like you had a great time shopping for heels. My girl friend encourages me to buy heels and one day we will go out with the intent of buying heels in public. Very proud of you, and your story is a great inspiration. Thank you!

  4. Nine West comes through again.

This time I picked up a pair of Austin pumps. With a rated heel of only 2.5" (just under 3" actual), I guess these are barely considered to be "high" around here, but I don't mind. They are still lovely and fit well, though with the usual gap in the back.

I hope you don't mind if I share a few pictures. They have an extended point toe, which I thought had been going out of style. It's not generally my preference, but it certainly makes for comfy toes! Well as much as can be expected...

Very nice, love the shoes. Proven classic with that pair.

  5. I did wear my Pleasers in the car to work the other dy but it was only for about 15 minutes.

I love the ones that you bought. The are beautiful. If the are a UK 8 and you ever get tired of them you know where to send them.

    Have a super weekend.

I do have a pair of Pleasers (http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/snaz75_2149_146968992) that I have had for years and wear them out to the car and while driving. It is not easy driving a manual transmission in them but I can do it.

Regretfully those that you like are a size 9.5 in UK Womens. I do wear shoes anywhere from US size 10 ~ 12 depending on the shoe

  6. Ok, I have done some spring cleaning and I have been tearing up my room so in the process I decided to reorganize my shoes. But before doing so I wanted to take a picture so I could take stock of what I had. Here are few and I am sorry if some are a little fuzzy. I did not realize at the time that they were. There are a few that are in storage and/or at girl friends.

  7. I love the pleasers. I have a pair of Indulge 543 5.5" platforms and they are so comfortable. I did wear them at home when I got home last night. Are you going to wear the out in public?

I hope to some day. My girl friend is very accepting and encourages me to buy more heels! So it is just a matter of time. Also forgot to add that I purchased these as well.

  8. I wear heels all the time when i am driving, but not in public view yet, but i would love to eventually:smile:

Driving in heels are very very difficult to do. Being that you are in the UK I bet you drive manual as well??? I drive manual transmission in my car and it is NOT easy at all, but. I can do it

  9. I tried like the rest of you to take the SAGE test, but it keeps having issues. So I took the COGIATI, and I more or less expected the results.

Your COGIATI result value is: 145 Which means that you fall within the following category:

    COGIATI classification FOUR, PROBABLE TRANSSEXUAL

What this means is that the Combined Gender Identity And Transsexuality Inventory has classified your internal gender identity to be essentially feminine, but with some masculine or androgynous traits. It is very possible that you are a candidate for a diagnosis of transsexualism. You show a strong degree of gender dysphoria. At the very least, further investigation should be undertaken. Your COGIATI score places you among the majority of those diagnosed as transsexuals, the 'late onset' transsexual.

The BBC Test had me near the center but I botched one of the test not realizing it and I choose not to go through it all again. So the results were skewed.

  10. I love to see women in heels and I love to wear them myself too. I have over 300 pairs of all styles and heel heights - mostly above 4 inch.

    Here - here to heels!

    Bernheels

WOW! and here I thought I had a bit with almost 50 pairs. I bow to you sir.

  11. I remember I was about 6 years old and I was visiting a friends of the family. I was playing with a girl about the same age and she had those cute pink jellies that were so popular back in the day. I remember I tried them on and thought they were fun. I remember her dad poked his head in the room and saw me and smiled. From then on, I always watched other girls growing up and what they were wearing and dressing. I attended a private school where the girls always had to dress up and many of them wore heels. I was so jealous, and I remember my jealously driving me to curiosity as my mom would wear high heels all the time. I then would raid her closet when no one was around to try on heels. I remember the feeling and loved it. When I got on my own, I bought my first pair online and have never looked back. As of now I almost own 50 pairs and my girl friend is encouraging me to buy more!

  12. About 1,5 years later i've since my previous reply, and I changed my mind. I think I can stop if I wanted to. I also think I don't want to stop. I just love heels and thats that.

I could not agree more. I've tried twice to stop in my life and have only come back stronger. Since as long as I could remember, I've liked woman's shoes and from the time I could fit into the other girls shoes as a kid, to my mothers heels a little later, to buying my first pair, and quitting (only temporarily :D) because of fear from my ex-girl friend.

Now I've come back only stronger in my like and appreciation, and now I have a girl friend who encourages me to buy them and wear them.

  13. I mostly scour Ebay for great deals, but Snaz75, Pierre Silber, and the old Jante site are among my frequent shoe shopping. My GF and I do go out to the stores but most shoes are in her size or smaller and not mine. (I wear a size 11 to 12 though I can fit in some of my GF size 10's) I generally wait for the seasonal sales and clearances to make large purchases. Though recently I have bought a few heels because they are no longer being made. As far as buying them in public in a brick and mortar store. I suppose I could try those steps you do SleekHeels and try that some time. Maybe even do that when my GF and I go out shopping...

  14. I'm thinking about switching. I used to be a senior tech for Apple working for the iPhone project. I hated AT&T and could not stand the way they worked or treated their customer base. I also hate Verizon and now T-Mobile has been bought by AT&T... It would be awesome if we had some of the European carriers over here, like Orange, Vodafone or O2.
