Yes, sadly Amy passed almost two years ago, about a month after i got my blue overbust from her. From what i have heard through the kink and corset community, it was a heart related thing, with signs showing in the weeks before that unfortunately no one picked up on.

For a corset for everyday wear, well-fitting and relatively cheap, i would recommend Meschantes. They have a little fringed reputation with regard to customer service(do a google search), but i buy through ebay and that keeps them in check. Don't buy directly, i've had my brush with bad service there. The corsets themselves are fine.

As for the extreme high quality and fetish/tightlacing stuff, i've been recommended a maker in Holland, but the pricing (and skill) is in Amy's range, and not for beginners. Jeromè of BizarreDesigns. He's probably the best corset maker around right now, and i plan on a motorbike visit to holland this summer/fall. Unfortunately his website is a mess, but the things i have heard about his work are great.

I'll try to answer a few of the questions.

For me it is both about the waist reduction and the comfort of the nice hug. I just love the hourglass figure, both on myself and on others. How far one chooses to go is up to each one to decide, but i choose to stay on the comfy and safe side. No more than i can stand comfortably, no impacting my life in any way negative.

When i go to parties, i love the attention i get, and knowing that at least half of the women present will be jealous. I don't know how many times i've been asked "can i put my hands around your waist" just because it looks so extreme that people have trouble believing what they see.

And the sensation. The best part, at least to me. The wonderful, comfortable body-hugging tightness lasting as long as i choose to wear one. Depending on which corset i choose, it can be from mildly to quite restrictive on my movements, but still not hampering my daily activities. It sometimes leads my thoughts to bondage, of which i'm a big fan both on the giving and receiving side. And it is unnoticeable by others, my own personal hugging thingy i can enjoy all day. I would not be without it.

It's a fetish, it's a lifestyle, it feels great. What more can i want?
