  1. Whenever I see styles like this one:

I am wondering what the difference is between a shoe like this and an 8" platform shoe with 4" platform by Pleaser for $50, after I take out my saw and cut the heel off?

    Can someone please explain?

Cutting the heels off of platforms will cause you to walk on your toes all the time. The heelless shoes/boots are designed with an extended sole to the rear and a more ridged
  2. Your own title to this thread says it all. I'm am not the person I should be when asking for relationship advice, but very thankful for my wife and if you care for the relation you have with your wife, I would have to say ending this sooner than later would be best for all.

  3. Thanks for posting this thread, I also am very nervous about making heel purchases and usually go about it as JWhite44 and Chris100575 it is deceptive, but it gets the job done and I have returned heels that just didn't work out and have even traded for larger or smaller size. I use the gift story and my wife doesn't like shoe shopping because of her shoe size. Not untrue but instead of size 10 shes a 5.5 ! I have talked to two shop employees so far about purchasing for myself and have found both to actually be pleasant experiences. So just do what makes you the most comfortable to get the heels you desire,

  4. We were on a girls night out and stopped at an intimate aperal store. I was wearing a pump with a four-inch stiletto heel. One girl held up a platform sandal and dared me to try it with my crutches. The clerk got it on for me; it looked like a 3" platform and about 7 - 8" heel. I lengthened my crutches as far as they would go and got up in the sandal which showed all of my toes. Two careful steps and I acclimated to the platform and took a walking tour of the store, then about 5 more laps. Having mastered that, I am going to look as some pumps that are chic now, with a one inch or so platform and peep toes.

Sounds like a wonderful evening and a beautiful image of someone enjoying some time in something a little different that you seem to enjoy, have no opinion of what anyone should or should not wear, just please becareful. :silly:

  5. Forgive me for saying, but if she is really new at wearing heels it might be better to fine a little lower heel to start with. Depending on how small her feet are even trying a 4in heel would make a world of difference and after she has gotten comfortable wearing something just a little lower then increase the wearing of the 5in and even then it maybe a good ideal to continue to wear the lower heels on occasion just because they will be more comfortable to wear and may help keep her interest in wearing heels for the both of you. Now to answer your question this is in no way professional medical advice, but by prescription 1% lidocane topical ointments are available that are used for external localized pain relief not really recommended. Hope this helped.

  6. I would say the care taken on her personal appearance from head to toe. Then I would have to say how she carries herself. Attitude, personality, friendliness, and style. I have seen some women whose physical appearance is outstanding, but their attitude and behavior and the way they treat others is an actual turn-off.

Totally agree with Ron, internal beauty goes along ways.
