Totally true, we should never settle for second best, I have been there for so long but no more I suit my self now what I chose to do and wear, you cant change others it wont work. So I changed, still trying to convince my self it was for the better.

Good for you, at least you've been outside, they sound like great looking heels.

There should be a specialist rubber solution paint that you can use, cant remember the name, but it should paint over anything, chack with a store that specialises in spray paint, thats where I got mine. Hope this helps.

Very lucky fellow, when I am out with my wife we both avoid all shoe in the area as we both know the possile outcomes of heel shopping. No go zone

I often wonder that myself, what would my closest friends think, If I went out with them dressed in ladies clothing. One of them does, what would happen if it was me!!!.

Hi, Take small steps, if you pardon the pun there, like you I love to wear heels but have a problem going outside, but with the contact made in here I go out in heels now, I only go out in the dark but its a start, and I am getting bolder now, go at your own pace and where you feel comfortable, then as your confidence grows take it from there, good luck my friend.

Hi. Good for you with the five inch heels, thats all that I wear, I dont have anything less than that hight, percivere with them they will become easier to walk in, if you wear ones with a small platform you will find them much better to walk in, even outside on a solid surface.

Its nice to know that most people here share the same passion as myself. I have been secretly wearing high heels for as long as I can remember, stealing my first pair stilettos from my big sister ( black strappy platforms ) and wearing whenever possible, made me feel great. Then buying my first pair at only 15, red leather courts with a 5.5 inch heel. Waited outside the shop for nearly four hours, plucking up enough courage to go it, not long after that buying my first high boots, brown knee with a 4.5 inch heel. The internet certainly made things much more accessible when it arrived,( buying numereous pairs of heels ) and not leaving me with such a red face anymore. Getting married later saw my passion for wearing heels more difficult to do, and sold all but my black pair ( wish I had'nt done that now ) in case of being caught. Now at 45, the need to wear high heels and stockings is becoming overpowering, but, my courage in buying is better as I have bought new new pairs receintly from high street stores. At present I lack the courage to go out wearing heels, but I do drive to my work every day in stockings and 5 inch heels, plus I like to kep the stockings on all day, nice feeling. Hope this is of some help to someone.
