  1. It must have been when I was around 10 or 11 and gradually found that I was admiring my mother's and older sister's high heels, and noticing how nice they looked in them. A neighbouring couple had a teenage daughter, and she looked fabulous in her heels. I was of course extremely shy and bashful, and often wanted to tell her how nice she looked, but didn't dare. I remember the thrill the first time I stepped into sister's high heels, and tried tottering around in them. I still get the same thrill every time I put on a pair of heels! My mum had a pair of platform boots with very high heels, and I tried those on too. From then on I was totally hooked on high heeled boots! She looked amazing in them, as did some of my friends' mums. When I was 16 I went to a local charity shop, and found a lovely pair of black high heels in my size (7). I remember taking them to thelady at the cash desk, who said 'You'll look lovely in those!' I was so embarrassed, but I enjoyed it too. Now, I still love shopping for heels and chatting to the lovely sales girls about shoes and boots.

  2. Hi all I'm very pleased to have found this site! I'm 45, married, and of course I love seeing women in high heeled shoes and boots. I alos love to wear them myself, and my absolute favourites are 6" heel shoes and boots from Kurt Geiger. They might be a little bit more expensive than other shops, but they are the best you can buy on the High Street, imho. And can I specially recommend the Bath branch of the KG, where the sales girls are really helpful and utterly gorgeous (and no, I'm not the store manager, sadly!). I think my love of them started with seeing my mother, sister and the older girl next door all wearing them. I can remember the absolute thrill of stepping into my sister's high heels, a thrill which hasn't left me. I've got lots more to tell, but I don't want to bore you too much. Of course I would like to hear from any others, male or female, who share my enjoyment of high heels. Best wishes to all John
